Location is a tiny bit hard to find- could just be crappy Google maps.... ;) Â Went in here for a VCH piercing and met David, who is very personable and reassuringly professional. Â I asked a couple questions about his experience with this particular piercing, and he didn't act offended at my "interviewing" him a bit. Â (I had done this at two other places in LA, and when they acted put out by my asking questions, I walked out promptly) Â I have had pierced nipples for a couple years, and had debated VCH for the last year. Â Finding someone who projects confidence in their skills and experience really matters to me, and David did just that. Â We discussed aftercare, and he gave me some printed materials. Â I decided to get pierced at the end of our vacation, since the aftercare would be easier at home- and vowed to return the next day. Â The following afternoon, David took his time explaining how the piercing is performed, assuring me that he does not use forceps but a NRT (this is important for VCH piercing). Â After the mandatory questions and paperwork were concluded, he set up his field, and my hubby and I went into the piercing parlor which was orderly, well lit, neat and CLEAN. Â He was really great about involving my hubby to some degree, as I was doing this for him as much as myself. He again explained exactly what to expect right before he pierced- and chuckled just a bit at the string of muttered obscenities that came from my mouth immediately afterward. After both hubby and reviewed the result- he gave me time to get my head on straight. Â I was provided with both anti-microbial soap and sea salt to prepare saline soaks- and he gave me a tip on the best way to soak this particular area in the saline ;) Â Price was VERY reasonable- but you shouldn't be getting pierced at a place based on PRICE, right? Â They use quality jewelry here, which is most of what you're paying for anyways. Â I would absolutely recommend David to both experienced piercees like myself, or the needle-phobic 'virgin'.
Review Source:I was on vacation with my boyfriend and we stopped in to check on a situation with piercings I had for a few years. Roger was kind and informative. His jovial manner relaxed us. We decided to get more piercings and he explained the different gauges, purposes and highlights of the locations. We made appointments and David greeted us when we arrived. David is the owner and is very kind and professional. Clean shop, very professional approach, quality jewelry, and lovely service. Highly recommended. I will be back!
Review Source:I've had a microdermal done before. Â If this had been my first experience with it, I would NEVER have another one done. Â On the positive, now that its healed, yes, it looks fantastic BUT, the overall feeling I got was that he was actually trying to make it hurt, challenging me to show pain. Â The bruising and swelling was awful. Â You get my back up like that and I'd eat my own foot before showing how much the jerk was hurting me. Â My husband and I were also sent off with no paperwork on aftercare. Â True I'd had one previously but that was in another state and you just never know, everyone could use a refresher on the aftercare. Â We won't be back to get the other two for my design here.
