Theeee best tattoo shop!! The entire staff at Red Hot are amazing!  You feel welcome when you walk through the door at Red Hot. The staff is very friendly and kind. You do not feel intimidated. I get all my work done by Joseph Caram!  He is phenomenal!!!! His lines are sooo clean, straight  and his work is superb! I have been going to Joseph now for at least 10 years, our friends and family have seen his work on us and now they all go to him to and swear to never go to anyone else. I highly recommend "RED HOT TATTOO" for your next tattoo and future pieces.

Got my septum pierced by "Painless Jen" and it was actually nearly painless. Well, my eyes ran with tears I assume because the nose is inherently linked with our tearducts, but it hurt a lot less than say, my other nose piercing, or say, my ear cartilage. Or the airbag burn I have right now.

She found an extra small piece of jewelry for me and took me on extremely short notice. I absolutely love her. I also love my nose ring. She didn't spaz when I bled profusely (as some piercers do and have) (I bleed a lot but once it stops it stops for good) she calmly informed me I may be anemic (probably - my doctors insist I get more iron)

Walked me through after care and just generally a phenomenal experience here.

The tattoos that were being worked on were some of the best I've seen, and I have a ridiculously high standard for art. I saw a sleeve there that was mind blowing and was done freehand by one of the artists. I don't remember the name of the artist.

Jen had been taking a break on a piece to pierce my nose, and her piece was also fan-freaking-tastic. I'd use stronger language but I only cuss after 10pm. Anyways, overall 10 stars but Yelp only lets me give 5.

I got my first tattoo here back in January by Joe and I am very happy with it. I was really scared and all since it was my first tattoo. Joe had me come in a week early for my consultation and he calmed my nerves a lot. When the day came, he had me lay down on the table and started his flawless work and was very attentive to my nerves and made sure I was relaxed. I have gotten so many compliments about my tattoo since it is beautifully done. Definitely going back to him for my next one.

I've been coming here for 6 years now, and I can honestly say I can't imagine going anywhere else.  The artists here are top notch, and cool as hell with you.  They are truly masters of their craft, and I've thoroughly (yes, thoroughly) enjoyed getting my many tattoos done here... They stay pretty busy though, so it definitely helps to stop in or call for an appointment.  Why would you go anywhere else?

I've had two previous tattoos before coming in to Red Hot to get a sleeve done. Both tattoos from before were done by artists who didn't work at this shop and who were no longer in the area so when it came time for a big piece of work done I started asking around. A buddy of mine from work had a half sleeve piece done by Pat Sweeney at the shop and one day I decided to go in and talk to Pat. He was a very honest and down to earth guy but above all else though his art is amazing! As we started talking about what I wanted done on my arm I could tell that Pat had great experience in taking care of clients all while not losing his creative input. He's not an artist who will just pick up work because someone wants a popular piece of work done. I think that Pat is an artist that has a strong passion in making a good name for himself and his portfolio is a representation of that. I'm excited to get this sleeve done and also teaming up with him again for more work. I HIGHLY recommend Pat to anyone who is looking for great work to be done on them; you'll have no regrets!

I was a little apprehensive about getting another tat, and had only some basic ideas as to what I wanted, but Pat was totally wonderful and came up with something far better than I could have imagined.

I am so thrilled with the work he did, and everyone who has seen my tat has said how amazing his work is.

I would highly recommend anyone to go and check out these guys before going elsewhere to get inked! They are amazing

Went in recently for my first and only tattoo. "Painless Jen" lived up to her name - she was not only gentle, but communicated clearly every step of the way, consulted and improved on a design I brought in, and was relentless about cleanliness and sterility. A true artist and very professional. No drama at this shop, just great work.

My dog died a week ago after a year's long battle with cancer. She was everything to me, I've had her for fifteen years (since I was ten), and I've been one heck of a mess since then. I had the last words I said to her running through my head the entire time, so I decided to get them tattooed on my arm.

Called up Red Hot Tattoo, Joe answered, and he was just so friendly and laid back that I didn't feel at all intimidated going in. Usually I'm no delicate little flower who needs to be coddled and who's hand needs to be held, but, like I said, I've been a mess.

When I got there, the place was really clean, the people were very friendly, generally good vibes going in. When I told Joe what the tat was for, he put in so much care, skill, and effort into getting it just right. Other places I've been to kind of slap the design on you and want to get to inking right away, but the guys made sure I was 100% happy with everything about it before getting to work.

He got me talking about my girl a little, and guys, listen here. This dog had a GP, an ER vet, an Oncologist, and all the staff that comes with THREE separate clinics. Don't get me wrong, my family and friends have been mostly great too. As a nurse, I know that when shit hits the fan, it's important to get some kind of professional psychiatric help, so that's what I've been doing, too. It's been hit or miss regarding who's a dick about it and who isn't, though, so I've been on my guard and totally worn out.

The people at Red Hot Tattoo love their dogs and weren't at all ashamed to say it. Getting this tat was one of the most positive experiences I've had since my girl passed on, and no small part thanks to the artists here. The entire time I was really subdued, my brain wasn't firing on all cylinders, and hovering between crying and keeping it together. They were so patient, understanding, and they got me chatting about normal things, like food and TV shows and shit like that. I don't know if I could've sat there and seen those words made permanent if they weren't so cool about everything.

My mom walked in and showed them the mess another artist made of the tat on her ankle, and they honestly cared about how her first tat turned out to be a wreck. They were giving her advice on cover-ups and all that. Joe explained everything to me before and during, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some more awesome stuff. In other words, not just really kind people, but also totally professional.

Over-all, nice place, great people, talented, professional artists. They know that tats mean something deep to people a lot of the time, and they treat the experience with respect. This is the most important tat I have ever gotten, and I can look back on the experience with fond memories of it.

So, thanks Red Hot, and thanks especially to Joe, for creating such a beautiful memorial to my girl that I get to keep close to me for the rest of my life.

My friend was here from Cleveland for a visit. We had plans to take a  week long road trip up north. She also wanted to get a customized tattoo done that would represent her California visit. We went to a few very well known tat shops in cities that just about every person on this globe would have heard about...but she chose Red Hot Tattoo to do the work.
Now its my turn this week to get some work done. Im going to get something done that represents the work that I do in the paranormal field. Something thats close to my heart a very much a part of me.

This place is amazing! I just got my chest piece done by Bryce & my septum pierced by Jen. I also got to meet Pat & Danny, and their also very gracious.  Everyone there is  ridiculously friendly & the place is just dope.  Great vibes & people.  They treat you well & make you feel very comfortable.  They're amazing at what they do & you can clearly tell that they take pride in what they do. They've also very knowledgeable on the after care of your tattoos & piercings.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS SPOT OUT IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA!! I know I'm definitely going back (: I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This shop is it! Amazing artists who take pride in their art work, each with their own style. I have a chest piece going into a half sleeve. Its still in progress from Joseph and all I get are compliments all day long. He really brought my concept and vision to life. Bryce, Pat and Jen are fantastic artists and very down to earth. Very clean and tidy shop. Impeccable line work, shading and vibrant colors come out of this place. I suggest checking out their portfolios and getting an appointment. Good luck!

I got lucky about 3 yrs ago and scored a walk in tat with Patrick. I told him I wanted my last name McCoy with a clover and 2 lady bugs but left the design up to him. Came back in about an hour to see what idea he came up with and totally said "go for it!" I have received so many compliments.

I got my right sleeve done by Joe, who is kick back, well educated, funny, and couldn't have been a better person to do my first tattoo.  Walking in for the first time I was so frightened, but Joe put me right at ease.  We discussed my idea and after leaving a $40 deposit he told me to come back in 3 weeks to see what he'd drawn up.  Longest three weeks of my life, but the day I returned was the day we started.  He gave me exactly what I wanted and while I didn't exactly get it finished super fast (for my own reasons), my tattoo was done in 5 or so sessions over a year and a half.

Each time it was always great to go in and see Joe, Jen, Bryce, and Pat.  There are no egos at this shop and as someone who is now fully sleeved and have gotten other tattoos at other shops after Joe finished my sleeve, I can tell you that is a rarity.   Many artists are completely full of themselves but you won't deal with that at Red Hot.

These artists are booked up so you will need to make an appointment and may have to wait a little while, but it's well worth it.  :)

Sorry to say I was taken advantage of at this shop.  Was visiting from out of town and needed a pierced barbell or ring to replace one that was broken.  Due to recent remodel the stock was put away.  To his credit  the man was kind enough to look for something that would work but then he charged me $25 for something should have cost 0.99.  Bad business should not cause bad ethics. In fact, if I had had a good experience I would have gone back at a later visit to purchase some nice bling. Too bad.

Bryce is awesome for tattoos. Very clean, very precise, very artistic, very patient.

Brian is awesome for piercing. Very gentle, very careful, knows his stuff. He even cleaned my nose piercing for me when I was worried I had gotten it infected.

Everyone's really nice, the place is clean, and while they clearly don't suffer no fools, you also don't get that condescending we-couldn't-care-less attitude you get at a lot of other shops. 5 stars, no question.

got a tattoo from pat.  i love that he is very knowledgeable about the aftercare of tattoo and when it comes to picking one and the tattoo artist. lots of explanations to my why why why! that made me comfortable which is always important.  price seemed fair.  you are getting something permanent on your body! you want it done right! so you get what you pay for, i think.  i can see why people talk about decor but not that big a deal to me.  overall, i'd go back!

Out of all the tattoo shops I have visited, witnessed a friend in, walked through, etc, Red Hot is probably the best one I have ever been to in terms of skill, professionalism, and work. I send all my friends within their vicinity to "painless jen."  The aura of the shop is different than that of most of the HxC d-bag Travis Barker impersonators out there, as they seem to accept all types of clientele with unbiased treatment.  They will also be honest and let you know if you are about to make a dire mistake, as they have talked me out of some stupid ideas when i was young, foolish, and immature.  I go here for all the complicated, big pieces of work that cannot afford a risk in mistake, as well as cover ups that NEED to be fixed.  I have never experienced scarring, infection, and have had minimal pain in my experiences.  They also guarantee their work for life, meaning I can get a touch up 50years down the line when I am a wrinkled old lady, probably regretting all my tattoos =P

I have gotten tattooed there at least 4 times and probably changed piercings a few times, as well as watched many friends get worked on there.  I once let Pat practice a tattoo on me while he was an intern while Jen did rakhi to help with the pain.

They are a bit pricey, but from what I hear, it is worth it.

The only downside? I have to drive all the way the F*ck to the shit city of LA!

Jen, Joe and Pat offer outstanding customer service and craftsmanship!  They're down to earth, professional and way nice, unlike a lot of other douche bag wanna-be hxc tatt shops out there.  I won't go anywhere else for a tattoo!

I also like the fact that they will give you an honest opinion on your tattoo idea.  Don't even think about going here if you want to get the name of your baby daddy tatted onto your left boob; they'll show you the door.

I have two tats, which were both done by Jen (who's now the owner) of Red Hot.  She definitely has a distinctive style and she knows her shit.  When I went to her for my second tattoo, she saw my first one and instantly knew that it was her work (even though I got it like 8 years prior!)

The rest of the staff was also very friendly and laid back.  They seem to really enjoy their jobs (who can blame them) and they always look like they're having a good time.  But they're also very professional and accomodating.  If you don't have a drawing or sketch as a point of reference, they will draw you one on the spot!
