  Awesome shop, and Matt G is amazing. I only get tattooed by people with integrity as well as talent, and Matt has both. One of the best in the valley by far. BTW, a true artist has the right to refuse service, as to not attach their name to artwork they don't agree with, and negative reviews you might see on here should be read with that thought in mind.

  my husband has been seeing matt for about 5 years .. i had 2 amazing pieces done (and working on a 3rd).. He did an amazing sleeve for me and a beautiful piece on my other arm .. he has always been courteous and easy to work with.. he has even flown to WA state to do work for us both..His shop is clean and friendly..i would recommend Matt and his shop to anyone..

  Matt is simply the BEST tattoo artist I've had the privilege of knowing.  I wouldn't have anyone else tattoo me besides him, truly.  His portfolio speaks for itself.  He is also a sweet, gentle soul.  I get compliments on my sleeve nearly every day and I am so proud to be wearing his art.  I am so grateful that he has his own shop and continues to affect so many lives permanently by providing the most genuine, authentic, out of this world quality art through tattoos and paintings.  I'm chomping at the bit to get back to see him.  Well done, Matt!   I have been a client of Matts for many years. Matt is a gifted artist and an amazing person. The way he lives his life has made him an inspiration to me, and my family. He gives back, and believes in helping people who need it. A friend of mine was dying of cancer, and getting a tattoo was on her bucket list, I told Matty and he would do whatever it took to get her in. My dear friend passed away that very week. Another example, I had a serious disfiguring scar on my arm, I was so embarrassed and constantly asked about  it. Now it is covered with vibrant colors and completely unnoticeable. There is something special about getting a tattoo by Matty, because of what he stands for as a man. I feel very honored to be his client, and to have become his friend.

  I have been a customer of Matt's for many years now.  He is by far one of the best artists that I have ever come across.  The progression of his work has been astounding.  The colors and imagery that he uses is absolutely amazing.  I also really love the way he works.  the fact that he can take ideas from a client and then turn them into something that they could only dream of is nothing short of a miracle.  Matt has an uncanny ability to produce art in every sense of the word.  He is an artist in multiple mediums and all of his work is fantastic.  I will always remain a loyal customer.  I would recommend Salt & Light Tattoo to anyone that is looking to get work done.

  Salt and Light is a great shop. I was tattooed by Matt and could not be happier. He listened to my ideas and turned them into a fantastic piece! The shop is very open, comfortable and there is lots of great artwork to stare at while your getting tattooed.
