This place was awesome! All the workers were super friendly and were very patient with me and my indecisive questions
I got a top cartridge piercing and it did not hurt at all!!! I still don't feel it!
Super clean, super nice, super awesome. Prices were good too and just a fun experience!!! I highly recommend this place! Good job guys!
Ps: ask for Romone! He's really chill
I got 2 tattoos and my nose re-pierced. Â The nose piercing he put in at an angle, instead of straight through, so either I have to get re-pierced AGAIN or I cannot use nose studs, as they will be too short
The 2 tattoos I got were put in side-ways, as he asked me to lie down to get the tattoos on my neck. Â These are tatts I will have for the rest of my life. Â Why would he tattoo them on sideways? Â So in order to see them correctly, I have to be in a lying position.
He did NOT provide me with any aftercare instructions, whatsoever. Â He did not bandage the tatts. Â He just wanted his money so I could go. Â So, he got absolutely no tip from me.
I will NEVER go to these butchers again. Â I would recommend you not go either. Â Whether its a small tatt or a big tatt, they should all be treated the same, as these are permanent markings on someone skin. Â In fact, I may sue!
I had no choice but to give 1 star. Â If I could give 0, I would!
We were visiting from California, and as big Disney and Harry Potter fans, we each wanted to get tattoos to commemorate going to the respectively themed parks. My friend and I had known what we wanted for a while, so it was fitting that we get them done. Cody set us up with an appointment for after we finished visiting parks (if you've never had a tattoo, you don't want one before a theme park. Water rides, sweat, and/or sunscreen don't mix well with fresh tattoos, though you should always wear sunscreen to protect your ink) and he and Junior were ready when we walked in. My friend's tattoo required intricate detail of the Hogwarts castle from the chapter art in one of the books, and my tattoos (I got 4 total: Minnie, Mickey, and two kitty outlines) needed to fit on the top of my toes. Cody got the details way beyond our expectations, and Junior managed to even get the dots on the bow of my Minnie Mouse. They were not only clean, but they were very kind in understanding my friend's low pain threshold, and provided her a hand to hold while I was getting inked. If I was local, I'd come back to this place in a heartbeat, but at least I can recommend them on Yelp! I ended up tipping at least a solid 20%.
Review Source:I was scared s***less when I walked into this place...I always wanted my nose piereced and the time was NOW.
Rafi was very patient with me....he answered all my questions and helped calmed my nerves throughout this process.
When I'm in Orlando again, I will be sure to stop by and see my boys at Scratch the Surface!! Excellent work guys!
Last night, I got three piercings here. Upon walking in, I was very impressed by how clean and nice the whole placed looked, definitely not some seedy tattoo parlor. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a friendly employee right when walked in. After I explained to the piercer what I wanted she led me to the room. I was impressed by how large the room was and clean as well. The whole place had a very nice decor. My piercer was friendly and down to Earth. She really seemed to know what she was doing and was very calm and collected throughout the whole piercing experience.
Don't be turned off just because this place is located in tourist central. The prices were just $5.00 at the most more than other places I had looked into. Jewelry was included in the price and all I had to do was pay for my aftercare supplies. I can also happily say that I didn't feel like I was being haggled or taken advantage of for being a prospective tourist, as I've been elsewhere on I-Drive (being charged 12% tax on a bottle of water at a little convenience store).
I highly recommend this little place to anyone wanting to get a piercing.
