Sea Hag Tattoo Parlour

First time getting a tattoo and Shaun could not have made the process any easier!  I came in a couple of times to talk through some ideas and Shaun was incredibly patient and informative each time.  The store itself was very clean and nicely decorated, not at all grungy like some other places I've seen.
Then when I finally made the decision to go for it, I was so happy...no...lets make that estatic about the design he created incorporating the ideas I had.  
While I was getting the tattoo, both Shaun and Eva were very comforting as I was a big baby during the tattooing.  
I love my tattoo and will most definitely be back if I decide to get another one!!!!

I've been getting tattooed by Grizzly Joe for about ten years. When I was 19 he did a slick Where The Wild Things Are half sleeve (which was my first tattoo). He stayed true to the original artwork, paid attention to all the line work details and seemed to really enjoy his job. It's really important to feel comfortable with the person who is going to put something permanent on your body and I always felt good vibes from Joe.

I live in Downtown San Diego and am totally willing to make the hour long drive to get work done.

The shop itself is great. I feel like I can really trust the taste level of all the artists. When you walk in, each artist has some of their original art and paintings in their work area. The place is clean (which you would expect but can't always count on with other places). The owner is a total character and was entertaining in her own right.
