I can't even begin to describe how terrible this experience was. I am traumatized.

First off, I called making an appointment. I stressed that I was coming from a distance and double checked my appointment. Triple checked even. I call the day of my appointment letting them know I'm almost to the shop. They tell me they have to cancel because the piercer was at his new second job. Then the guy proceeds to say that the piercer basically bailed on them, left them to do their own thing, ditched them, all of this drama! What ticks me off is that they don't even have the decency to call me ahead of time to cancel! Not even a few minutes ahead of time. They say I can stop by for a free 'tshirt' .. What the hell am I going to do with a tshirt.

I reschedule my appointment. I triple check my appointment. I get there and they apologize for the inconvenience saying that the piercer had an ASTHMA ATTACK and had to go to the emergency room. Get your story right people! If you're going to lie to your clients, make sure you all have the same story. Totally unprofessional.

So time for the piercing. They tell me I'll be in and out, and that there will be NO WAIT. I wait 45 minutes. Then the piercer tries to use the same gloves that he used on his last client on me.... Ew ew ew ew ew ew! What the hell is wrong with these people? I ask how badly a nose piercing usually hurts, I like to know what I'm in for. He tells me it will not hurt at all, nothing, zip. The pain was horrible. How dare you lie to your customers? I'm in shock. I leave with my new nose piercing. They didn't give me a pamphlet on the care for my piercing, they just told me to soak it in sea salt.

So again, I leave. My nose piercing breaks off two nights later when I SNEEZE. That's right ladies and gents, it breaks completely when I sneeze. I check the time right away and it's still 15 minutes until the tattoo shop closes. I call in hopes of going in for a new stud for my nose. Just so my nose piercing won't close up. I was thinking to myself, thank God I'm in the area. They answer and they tell me I can't come in because they close and won't take any last minute clients. WHAT. I am beyond pissed at this point. What if my piercing closes up?

Luckily another tattoo/piercing shop that is already closed takes me in when I express my worries. It's Skullhaus in Murrieta. They had to re pierce my nose (go figure) .. But they don't charge me a penny to re pierce! All they make me pay is 15 bucks for the stud they put in. Way better service 5 minutes there than days of stress here.

Think twice before stepping in here. Terrible customer service and terrible work.

My husband and I walked into Devoted ink 3 months ago to make an appointment for today. We told Matt we would like to come in June 15th at 1pm. He told us that it was his moms birthday but he could fit us in real fast since my husband was getting a ring tattoo and it wouldn't take long.

2 months later we get a call from Matt saying someone scheduled us on his Moms birthday and he we needed to reschedule. Even though he was the one who had scheduled us on his Moms birthday when we went into the store. He then put us down for Wednesday June 12th at 5pm. Which we could not do because we would be on our honeymoon until Saturday morning. He expected us to leave our honeymoon to come back and get the tattoo because he did not want to do it the day HE scheduled us for 2 MONTHS ago!

I was really upset so I called up Matt and told him we needed to be there on Saturday like planned. We would be on our way back from our Honeymoon and we do not live around here. He told us he would put us on the schedule for One saturday with a different tattoo artist. which was fine.

Wednesday June 12th comes and while we are on our honeymoon Matt calls us and asks if we can come in at 3pm that day instead of five. So he did not reschedule us for Saturday like he said he would. I was pretty upset at this point. making an appointment should not be this complicated. But it is for these people. I told him I called and he told me we were coming in Saturday at one. He quickly remembered and said oh yeahhh. Then said we cant come in at that time but would have to come in at 10am Saturday.

We leave our hotel room early in the morning to get to this devoted ink place 3 hours before our original appointment. We get there on time a little before ten and no one is there. We wait 20 mins until finally the closed sign turns to open. We walk in fill out paper work and then waited about 35 mins for the guy to set up all his stuff. Shouldn't it all be ready by the time we walked in?

The guy at the front started talking about Matt and why he wasn't there today. Turns out it was not his moms birthday so they said but his birthday. Overall this place was a nightmare. They did not want to do the tattoo design my husband wanted because it was too complex. Even though we have seen tons of people with tattoos very similar to the one he wanted. They told him they could not Tattoo the insides of the fingers but then ended up doing that anyways.

They didn't put a wrap on it or anything. And on top of all this. The price they told us 3 months ago was not what they charged. They charged 10$ more and added a .03% charge for using a credit card.

My wife and granddaughter waited over two hours for an appointment made a month ago. They apparently double booked. I read this is not uncommon. Very unprofessional . Won't be back. Drove 1 1/2 hours to get there, so wasted day.
