I got three microdermal piercings done at this shop. Â The price was very appealing. Â I was pierced by Abel who was exceptionally sanitary, patient, laid-back and helpful. Â He gave me several contact information in case I needed to come back with any other questions. Â The other tattoo artists and the owner were very friendly as well.
Review Source:As with any tattoo parlor, you cannot expect one person's experience to be remotely similar to yours, especially when the flow of artists is constant. Some of Studio Enigma's finest artists have come and went, but there are still some gems. My mother's two most recent tattoos have been done at Enigma, as well as my brother's first (which is actually in the artist's portfolio, it was a custom job and it turned out very nice). I got a small inscription on my chest that took less than 5 minutes to do, so I do not count it as a proper tattoo experience-- so my review is based on the results my family and friends have gotten. With the artist that my brother went to, (I want to say "Joe" but I think that was my Orlando tattoo artist's name ... he's a younger European-ish guy, no more than 21 as of this writing, very friendly and polite), the attention to detail, the shading and the precision is just outstanding. Even though he is young, his abilities are phenomenal. The intricacies he employs to show fine detail  make his work well worth the slightly higher price (I paid the same for a small 5 minute black inscription that my mother paid for a 2x2 full color, detailed symbol). There are coupons on the website, make use of them.  There are better, more-nicely-run tattoo parlors, but remember where you're going... if you're expecting Miami Ink down the block from a urine-soaked train station, you're sorely mistaken. Prepare yourself for surly guido-types getting into fights right outside (sometimes inside). I do have to say, whoever did the FF7 tattoo on my friend's brother did an awesome job.
Review Source:got 2 tattoos here a while ago. Â the first time i went and got the tatoo done it was fantastic, it was my first. my tattoo artist enrique i believe was very kind and spoke to me throughout the process. Â the second time was with someone else. Â it was rushed and not a quality job there were a lot of teenages hanging out outside and causing some problems cause they were underage. Â i will probably go back for one more but will look around first
Review Source:I have no evidence to tell me that this place tries to be anything  more than a local shop. They're well run, without attitude, and I can second they do really good piercings. I got an industrial done here and know lots of other people that are happy with their piercings from here as well. People , mostly baseball cap, white t-shirt,chain wearing guys, come in here for generic simple stuff they can pick off the wall.Th ye have a larger, newer shop on Staten island that is equally decent.
Review Source:Enigma is good for a piercing, but tattoos? Nope. Â I got one done here and had plans to meet the artist for another session, only to find out he was in rehab and no other artist wanted to touch my tattoo-in-progress. Â I've gotten 3 or 4 successful piercings here though, so if thats what you're looking for, then forge ahead.
