I found Tara online after reading reviews and checking out her incredible profile, and she is hands down my favorite tattoo artist ever. The tattoo she designed has given me so much happiness. Â I would and have recommended her to anyone seeking a skilled and thoughtful artist to work with. I had a crappy tattoo I got when I was 18 that I wanted to get covered up but I had a pretty abstract idea and no concept of what a cover up entailed. I wasn't sure what to expect and was really relying on her artistry.
Tara was honest, sincere, and communicative throughout the process, and I love the custom artwork she shared with me. I'm so happy with my tattoo, and I feel like she had really creative solutions to the cover up. The design is gorgeous.
I want to thank her so much for giving me a beautiful tattoo and keeping me laughing the entire time. The shop - Alleged Tattoo - feels warm and everyone I met was friendly and full of good humor. Tara was also meticulous with safety precautions and great about checking in throughout the session. And played Michael Jackson.

I just got tattooed by Tara yesterday afternoon. Prior to that,

I already knew based on her portfolio and word of mouth, that I was going to get a top notch piece calibers above many. She has an impeccable eye for detail and pours her heart into every piece she does. I was actually having a slight panic attack the day I had the appointment with her (not because of the tattoo, just in general) but a few minutes after sitting in the chair it all melted away. Her kindness and sense of humor made it easy to just relax which is a huge plus. Nobody wants to be getting a tat when they're anxious to start.
I was lucky enough to met her through my husband and their group of friends before she started tattooing and words can't express how happy it makes me to see her doing what she loves, the tattoo community NEEDS an artist like Tara. She really listens to what the customer wants and makes it happen down to every detail. So if you've never gotten a tattoo, or even if you're covered head to toe, Tara is one hell of a talented person that will take care of you!
Tara does awesome work!! This is my first tattoo at age 61!!! Tara knew my daughter Carly, who we lost in May. I worked with Tara to create a tattoo in Carly's memory. I am VERY happy with the results. I would, and have, recommended Tara to others. My daughter got a memorial tattoo on the same day for her sister. She is very happy with how beautifully it came out. Tara is great. If I EVER thought about getting another tattoo, I would definitely go to her. :)

Meeting her for the first time reminded me of visiting an old friend. She is very easy going and has a great sense of humor. Combined with an amazing amount of creativity made my new piece nothing short of jaw dropping.
Her rates are extremely reasonable especially when taking into account the knowledge and quality of the work she does. I would have zero problem recommending her to friends or family. I've already sent one of my best friends her way for a custom tattoo.
While she does walk-ins I would HIGHLY recommend making an appointment. She is one busy person because the word is getting around about the quality and service Tara has to offer.
I recently went to see Tara to get my first tattoo ever. Before the appointment, the communication was done by emails, plus sending the designs that I wanted; she was very responsive and direct in all her communication. I was very excited to get tattooed up by a talented artist like her, after seeing her works. She was very delightful to talk to, and very informative in answering all the questions and concerns that I had before we started. She was very understanding and made sure to not put any pressure on me if I needed to rethink again when she told me that the size of one of the tattoos that I wanted to get would have to be bigger than I originally wanted. She was very careful and gentle, I barely felt any pain at all.. and she paid great attention to details, and made sure to keep checking with me that I was comfortable and also happy with what I was getting. When a color that I initially chose ended up to be lighter on my skin, she asked me if I wanted to choose a different color.. and happily worked on it when I agreed to choose a bolder color. It was overall a very pleasant experience for me, considering it was my first tattoo. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to get a tattoo with a fast and skillful artist!

I thought I had a design picked out, but I was unsure about it. Â Plus, I was jittery about the needle thing. Â Tara was really patient helping me get the design just right (JUST RIGHT -- I said a small and simple tattoo, so the details are important), gave me some really good ideas (from just a simple design to a really beautiful design), and totally set me at ease and made excellent company while doing the deed.
The shop is super comfortable, the whole ethos is great. Â I'd go to this place ten out of ten times. Â Five stars: confirmed, and thank you thank you, Ms. Tara!
I have known Tara for 15 years and have always seen her artistic side over all others. It was only natural for her to become a tattoo artist. She has done three custom pieces on me so far and one awesome piece of flash. Tara is talented and affordable, and you won't regret her art being on your body forever.
