Steven is a brilliant artist. I went in with a basic drawing that I had drawn that I'd wanted, and asked him to make it more like calligraphy, and classy and elegant and pretty. He completely exceeded my expectations. Within 20 minutes, with his VERY first sketch, I knew it was exactly what I'd dreamed of and more. He made sure I was completely comfortable and helped me understand what was going on step by step. He could tell what amount of pain I could take at what level and for how long and helped me feel completely at ease for my first tattoo. It turned out way WAY better than I dreamed!!! I've had my tattoo for almost 6 months now, and I still get people telling me how great it looks, and that the lines are FLAWLESS!!! Thanks Steven and everyone at tattoo gallery for making this first timer feel completely comfortable. I will DEFINITELY being coming back and telling my friends about you.

I had a systematic approach to finding a shop. I compared all the shops in the valley and then called local body pierces to get an objective opinion. 4 out of the 5 shops recommended TG.
What also impressed me about TG was their community outreach and the amount of non-profit work they did. Â What is also unique to the shop is the T-shirts they sell. Â The designs are tattoo and street inspired graphics for both men and women. Â The women's shirts are great because there is a waist cut into them, so they are very complimentary. Â I have gotten a number of compliments on my TG Girl shirt!

Owner Sean Wood wants people to feel comfortable when they come into the shop, just like you are part of the family ~ and that is EXACTLY how I felt from the moment I stepped inside. As a 59 year old woman I at first felt a little uneasy  walking into the shop. But once inside I felt very comfortable and really appreciated the help I received in choosing the best tattoo for me. Tattoo artist John did an amazing job ~  he is skillful, clever and a very nice guy.  I will definitely be recommending The Tattoo Gallery to friends & family!
