I don't get inked - but if I did, I think this place looks to be pretty safe and the artists are friendly - I watched the group work on a large fish for about 20 minutes and while I still don't get the ritual of tattooing in Vegas, it was interesting.
What I do get is unique silver jewelry at a steal. Â Picked up an excellent John Varvatos .925 Sterling Silver string of crowns here for less than 1/2 what the same piece cost at the CBGB's Varvatos Flagship back in May.
One star off for the pseudo-goth-chique skulls all over the place - kinda lame. Â This whole Affliction craze really needs to go away.
I went here around June 20th. I wanted to get a medium sized tat of a crown on my chest for my daughter (about the size of a cd).
The first place we went to was the parlor across the street and they quoted me for like 180 and i didn't even have a design picked out yet. Them b****es was wack.
So we bounced and went to tattoo heaven across the street
This white chick named amber or anne? Â helped me out and did my work on the spot. Â She googled the design and sized it all up, and hooked it up for 130 (I think she said it was like a 100 minimum).
And since I was in vegas, I gave her a fat tip and still saved some money
Well, I am kinda disappointed as well. Got a couple nautical stars here from....you guessed it, Reggie...and the coloring could have been better. When I visit other tattoo parlors, they always suggest that I get the stars re-colored. Also, he didn't do the best job outlining the stars. I paid  $250.00 for two stars, had to negotiate with the owner on the price. It wasn't a battle, but it was lame. It felt like I was buying a used car. Would I go back? Probably not. Am I happy with what I paid for? Yes...
Review Source:This place is awesome! I had been wanting to get another tattoo for awhile and I figured Vegas would be the perfect place. So...after going to other EXTREMELY overpriced shops I ventured into Tattoo Heaven. The guy up front was so laid back and cool. We talked about what I wanted and then he referred me to Ron. He said Ron was really good with small stuff. Ron was super friendly and very funny. He drew up my design and gave me a great tattoo. All the time we were chatting and laughing. This place totally made me feel comfortable. Everything was clean and sterile. The place was also nice and bright. I will definitely be returning here! Thanks guys!
Review Source:In mid May this year, an old college buddy of mine, his wife and another couple flew in from Ottawa, Canada, for a week-long vacation here in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Likewise, I took the opportunity to take a week's vacation from work and volunteered to drive my friends to Vegas, where we stayed at Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, along South Las Vegas Boulevard.
Just across the hotel, I noticed the neon sign of Tattoo Heaven nearby and decided to check it out later.
My Canadian friends already have purchased advance tickets for shows they wanted to see and just bought additional one for me, if available. However, whenever it's not available, I just drove them to the show venue, then pick them up later when it's over.
Thus, when they went over to listen to the heavenly voice of Celine Dion, I promptly took the opportunity and went to Tattoo Heaven on my own.
The shop was immaculately clean and they're willing to accept cash, credit card or ATM.
Reggie did the American Eagle on my upper right arm and it was simply magnificent. I like the eagle Reggie did, but it's permanently mine now.
The next time I'm going back to Vegas, I'll probably stay in Stratosphere again, so I'll just walk across the street to Tattoo Heaven, for Reggie to ink another good one. Â Â
By the way, Las Vegas is the Convention Capital of the USA, with lots of tourists from all over the world. From LA, I just drive there usually, but most of the tourists fly generally.
Anyway, if you find that some prices are high, you'll also find that some prices are low, which generally abides in accordance with the economic law of demand and supply.
That's the way it is and that's the way it always will be...
