I got my tattoo done last night by the owner of the shop, Randy. Â I chose this shop after visiting nearly every shop in Kitsap County. Â I chose Thor's because when I walked in, the atmosphere just felt so laid back and low key, which is very important to me. Â All of the artists were busy, but they still stopped what they were doing to make sure I was greeted and felt welcome. Â I chose Randy over all of the other artists there, because it was very important to me that my tattoo looked life-like and not cartoon-ish. Â If you are in the market for a new tattoo, I DEFINITELY recommend this shop. If you are in the market for a REALISTIC tattoo, I DEFINITELY recommend Randy. Â He is undoubtedly talented and probably the best realistic tattoo artist in the state. Â Thank you guys so much! Â -Steve

Review Source:You could spend a long time looking for a good tattoo shop and never find one like this. I was lucky enough to be referred by a friend. Â Sometimes you encounter tattoo artists who want to give you their idea of what your peice should look like; not so here.The staff is friendly and incredibly gifted, and the young lady who did my tattoo, Erica, was patient and extensive, as well as excited while listening in great detail to everything I wanted done to the second portion of my back piece. She asked numerous questions, and even came up with some great ideas that I had not thought to put into the piece. So far I have only had the outline done, but it turned out gorgeous and far better than anything I had hoped for. Â I have been receiving compliments left and right. and am looking froward to going back in on the 23rd to get coloring. Â I would say the only drawback to this parlor, and it is so trivial that it is not worth docking stars for, is that the music is not something I would choose....but then again, you don't tell the driver of a car what he/she should listen to on the radio whilst driving.

I was walking through downtown Poulsbo during the summer with my mom and we decided to check out the art in Thor's since we knew they were apart of the Art Walk and I was thinking of getting a new piercing. When we went inside and learned that the piercer wasn't in, Rich said that he would call him and get him in ASAP. My mom and I left for grocery shopping and I get a call 20 minutes later saying they've got him in. Rich was a totally nice guy, I've never gotten such great customer service anywhere.
But anyway, this is the best piercing studio I have ever been to. Marcus, the piercer, was completely nice and funny. He calmed my nerves (I always get so nervous when a needle is about to be put through my face!) and even gave me a discount when I mentioned that I work for a non-profit youth center. The piercing process was very clean and quick, and my mom enjoyed the coffee table book of old-school monster movies. It's a few months later and my brow piercing is looking great and healed up perfectly as well.
Went to Thor's Hammer and Needle today and worked with Erin Ashley, I love my tattoo!!! She did exactly what I wanted and had a really gentle hand, The shop was very clean and everyone was really nice and inviting not what you find at most tattoo shops. I'll be letting all my friends know, thanks guys you rock!
Review Source:I went in to talk to Erin Ashley about a tattoo I have been joking I will "always want and never get" because of the unique art style. So far we are 4 hours into my sleeve, and not only do I LOVE my left arm more than ever before, I am receiving compliments left and right, and I was impressed by her professionalism. She listened to what I described, had a good grasp on what I wanted and showed me beautiful sketches of all sorts of things that could go into my sleeve. She is well educated in various art styles and tattooing in general. You want to see her work, find me, I wear it with pride, as chilly as it may be this time of year!
