  I had a spur of the moment to get a tattoo and came to this place, everything is kept in excellent condition and the staff were very helpful. Daniel was the one who broke my tattoo cherry and did an great job. I highly recommend coming here if you have any wants for a tattoo or piercings.

  So I've been debating over a tattoo (more like getting up the courage) for a long time.  After consulting Yelp (See Thinking About Ink in Talk) and talking with some friends, I finally decided "woman up" and get my ink.  A recommendation from a friend sent me to True Tattoo.  The thought of going into a really big shop kind of intimidated me, and I actually loved the interaction of True Tattoo and their "fans" on their facebook page which is part of what drew me in.
  
  And I'm very glad it did.  I called and asked what I needed to do as this was my first tattoo.  They recommended coming in to review the portfolios and pick an artist based on that, I could set up an appointment with them and discuss what I was looking for.  I headed over and was greeted promptly.  I showed them what I was looking for and they felt confident that any of the artist could handle it (as did I!).  Scott had luckily just finished up early with another customer and was able to quickly draw up EXACTLY what I was looking for and took the time to discuss the size and placement with me (I was still teetering on where and how big).  Because he had the time, he offered to take care of it right then.
  
  I was nervous and anticipated it hurting, but it wasn't as bad as I thought -- not a single tear! -- and Scott gave me a heads up right before we started which I appreciated.  He worked fast and efficiently and chatted with my husband and I which probably helped me not concentrate on what was going on.  It wasn't until the end that we realized he was the shop owner which made me even happier with how things worked out.  
  
  I LOVE my tattoo!  I'm already thinking about what my next one will be.... :)

  I just had a new tattoo done at True Tattoo this past week and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The shop was great! Really open and bright and each tattooist has there own little "cubicle"-like station which was kinda neat. I was tattooed by Ross Trimmer (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgetrawesome.com&s=9b90cff5d22c1d257b9542219e5b3281af21cb0e456ba997ca8adaa236b20bfa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://getrawesome.com</a>). I had emailed him the idea I had for my tattoo  the week before and when I showed up he had drawn up the most perfect tattoo for me. And the finished product looks great! Bright colors and excellent line work. I am looking forward to getting more work done here.
