My fiance had an appointment with Alex about a week ago. When he came home he  showed me his tattoo, i was pretty amazed. The Detail, how flawless it came out.
My fiance was crazy for getting the willy wonka (original version) tatted on the side of his belly but  Alex is a pretty great artist, he did an phenomenal job.  ( pic is uploaded. ) We decided he should continue any upcoming tattoo's with Alex.
The guy who was doing his sleeve, he was good but sometime i just didn't love how the guy would let my fiance leave with half ass work.

After my brother passed, I wanted a tattoo that is meaningful.
I was not raised as a "tattoo" person... whatever that means. All I know is that when I go back to Korea... my mom will not approve!!
At this point it really doesn't matter and  I decided to get a tattoo for ME.
Alex did a great job in stenciling out exactly what I wanted and he took the time to not only produce an excellent tattoo, but to spend "people" time. Life is about human connections... I would definitely say he is a great tattoo artist and a truly kind person.
His place of business is also very clean. Everything is sanitized and the atmosphere/ambiance is pleasant. It is definitely the most family-centered tattoo place I've ever envisioned. :)
Alex did a nice piece on my rib cage! checked his reviews and tried to find a few pictures of his work on yelp but seems no one is a fan on here... No pictures.. So I googled him and got his tumblr - I WAS SOLD! Sent him an email with what I wanted done ... Long story short I went in for my consult and two weeks later(his first opening) I went back in for my first session, It was suppose to be only a 3-4hr session but because he took his time to ensure all the details were accurate and shading was good it took roughly 5-6hrs. Got there at 11A left around 5/5:30p(Granted I did not sit in the chair and start getting inked until about 12p) Surprisingly the rib cage pain was nothing ... Compared to my stomach and lower hip area... He was very easy , I've been to other tattoo artist who were not gentle and just not understanding when it comes to the guest being in pain or moving a little(they got mad, Alex was able to continue working with no mistakes). Alex does book pretty quick so I would call for a consult and email what you want in advance. I can not wait for my next session - I def found my new tattoo artist in the bay! I've been looking for a good priced but talented since I moved here two years ago and have not been able to find one...
Review Source:Al is great!  He's my go to man for all my tattoos, my exclusive artist.  There isn't anything he can't create.  He's done lettering, portraits, color, b&w on me, all have been flawless.  The environment is professional and laid back, he has a flatscreen tv for you to watch which helps distract from the tattoo process.  The studio is clean, and most importantly sanitary, he takes every precaution to make sure that  you get the safest best experience possible.  He's friendly, all around great shop.  I refer anyone looking for new ink to him.  He's good, so he books quick, better to make an appointment ahead of time.
