I'm not entirely sure how or why Warlocks has been around for so many years to be quite honest. The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have spent nearly 5 hours and hundreds of dollars having a tattoo fixed that was done at Warlocks by an "artist". Just because you have a license to tattoo doesn't mean you're an artist.
Review Source:My boyfriend and I went here last year on my birthday to get the conch of my ear pierced and the employees were so rude, we had to leave. We arrived an hour before they were supposed to close when I said I would like to get my ear pierced. All five of the employees were standing around, then the fat one (probably the owner of the place) spoke up and essentially yelled "My piercer went home an hour ago!" So not a single one of his remaining crew could have poked a needle through my ear properly? Pathetic. We felt terribly unwelcome, so we left.
Go to Blue Flame instead. It is a world of difference in terms of caliber of staff.
Warlock's is great! I've had most of my tats done there and most of those were done by Rich. The staff is professional and polite and thorough. The waiting area is clean and I appreciate that they don't allow cell phones while inside. I've taken in several drawings or paintings, etc., and (usually Rich) the artist will work on it with you to make it "yours." You can also just tell them what you'd like to have drawn and they can do that as well. I have three of my tats that are just text. The artists were very helpful in sitting down at the computer with me to work on the font size, style, placement, etc.
I would advise making an appointment with one of the artists so that you don't have to wait a long time to be seen - especially if it's during one of their "rush hours."
