I bought a groupon for Taylor last fall and went in in January armed with photos and ideas. She took all my photos and created the most perfect tattoo. Everywhere  I go I get compliments.
So how excited was I when another groupon came out? I almost peed my pants that's how! I can't wait to build on my half sleeve.
As a birthday present to myself, I got myself a tattoo while I was visiting a good friend of mine in Portland. Â I was discussing the tattoo I wanted with Taylor and she shared in the enthusiasm I had. Â She took the sketch I gave her and ran with it. Â She was great and warm and made this an incredible experience. Â I highly recommend her to any of my friends in the Portland area!

I also had a biggish piece reconstructed on my arm and Risa was the artist that did the work. She worked to create what I wanted while making it look amazing! Her work with color is great and I will be going back to her for my next tattoo!
The shop was also nice and visibly clean, staff was always helpful.

Review Source:I purchased a Groupon for 1/2 off 2 hours of work with Taylor. ( What a steal)  I had some questions about covering up an old Celtic design I had done somewhere else a long time ago. The person who replied to my email was very friendly and helpful. She set up a time for me to come in and talk with Taylor about what I wanted. When I came in I was greeted by Taylor who was very personable. I scheduled my appointment with her and left the shop feeling totally confident that Taylor would do a good job. I Just had my appointment on Saturday and as expected Taylor did an excellent job. She went over the old tattoo with a skin colored ink to help make the black lines less noticeable in the cover up. I didn't expect that. The end result was beautiful. I would definitely recommend  Taylor to anyone looking for a new tattoo. I will be back for more!
Review Source:I went to get my percing fixed I went somewhere else to get it and went to wil to get it fixed and that's the most amazing service I've had he was so clear about everything explains and has lots of patience with you . The part I like most was the fact that even though my pants were off for the most time he didn't care he made eye contact the whole time . That's the type of service I like. I got pierced a few months back. What I wanted was a high labret (a.k.a. center lower lip piercing). I also wanted to get a second set of lobe piercings.The only other piercing I had had before was my nostril.
Wil was friendly and informative, and didn't seem rushed or impatient. The shop is mostly a tattoo shop with the one piercer, but he has his own (very clean) room with sterile supplies and jewelry. We determined that 14 gauge would be best for all piercings, he showed me some different studs so that I could determined which size ball was most aesthetically pleasing for me, and marked my lip and let me make sure I liked the location. When he did it was very quick and simple. He stretched my 18 gauge ear piercings to 14 gauge for free.
I was feeling a little bit uncertain about whether I wanted a high labret or a regular one (because of potential teeth and gum problems), and he told me that if after a couple of weeks I didn't like the placement, to take it out and keep cleaning it and that after it was healed he would re-pierce it for me for free. I ended up liking the original placement.
He was very professional and laid back, answered all my questions, and the whole experience was nice.
There isn't a huge selection of jewelry here as it is a small operation inside a mostly tattoo shop, but the jewelry they have here to pierce you with is high quality and safe.
And the prices are very fair.
I would recommend getting pierced by Wil.
If you're looking to pick your tattoo from stock clip art on the wall, this might not be your place. On the other hand, if you want a really talented artist to help take your ideas and capture them in a way that reflects your vision and fits you and your body, you will be very pleased.
John did my latest work, and his vision is inspiring. He took my very simple idea and turned it into a masterpiece. The detail, the use of color and shading, and the recognition that the human body is a 3 dimensional canvas was impressive.
I've been to several shops in Portland, but this is where I'll get all of my future work done.
