I came in to get my tragus pierced for my birthday. I was attended by Eric in the front who was very friendly and even mentiined the $5 off for checking in on yelp. thank you! he also helped me get a small hook up on the piercing which was very generous! I was then pierced by London who was very helpful with what piece of jewelry to choose. Amazing experience I will say, I did not really feel anything and was quick and he also kept me very distracted cos i was starting to get giggly from the nervous tension! haha. He also didn't want me to leave cos I was still bleeding a bit which was thoughtful! Thank you!!! I will forever come here for future piercings! (: I recommend this place and London for piercings!! thank you Eric and London!
Review Source:A few months back I treated myself to my third tattoo, overall I was not satisfied.
First of all, the person at the front desk was pretty condescending, and completely inattentive. The artist that was available started working with me on drawing the tattoo, which was all good, he was pretty on point when drawing it on paper so I felt pretty confident. After he was done drawing it, another guy came over and said that although the first guy drew my tattoo, he was going to tattoo me because it was ''his turn''. I don't know if that is standard practice but I figured the guy who takes the time to work with me on drawing out the tattoo should be the guy who tattoos me. So, I insisted that I did not want this third person to work on me, at which point the front desk man came over and started hassling me. Â The guy that ended up working on my tattoo seemed competent enough, everything was very clean and he has a light hand. With that said, once my tattoo healed I realized what a bad artist he is, or how little he cared about giving me a quality tattoo (he did not blend the colors anywhere, tons of places were missing color altogether, etc.).
I have planned to get a lot more work done on my arm around that tattoo, but there is no way I am going back to this place to have them finish it. Â As soon as my tattoo healed I went to another shop to see if they could fix it for me, the artist at the other shop agreed that this guy's work was a mess. I am getting my tattoo fixed and completed at another shop.
As a caveat, I haven't had any services done here, but that's precisely why I feel the need to write a review.
I bought a yelp deal based on all the positive feedback I had seen about this place. Â I was going in for a fairly simple tattoo, which my sister was paying for for my birthday. Â I started describing it to the guy at the desk, and he had a horrible attitude. Â He contradicted everything I was trying to describe, but it was clear that he wasn't really listening to me. Â He talked to me like I was stupid. Â He just saw a girl who didn't look edgy enough to belong in a place like that, and he was done with me the second he started talking to us. Â He then quoted us a HUGELY inflated price, according to my sister, who has several tattoos and some knowledge on the subject. Â Maybe he thought we looked like an easy mark.
Anyway, I guess my point is unless you know what you're getting into, don't waste your money on a yelp deal for this place like I did.
I just want to say that I think the girl who just left a review is ridiculous!! Sounds to me like she's bad mouthing one shop because somebody has given her an opportunity at another. I've had Chris pierce me, my family & friends & have been going only to him for over 15 years. He's very professional & knowledgable.
Review Source:I went for my 18th birthday to go get my philtrum (aka medusa) pierced. As somebody who has a little insight into the piercing industry I was weary of going to a place not recognized by the association of professional piercers (or APP). When I went in the piercer, Chris, seemed nice. He sanitized the area and then marked me and asked if I liked the placement. I looked at it and started to line it up and in a very cocky tone told me "it's straight" I thought it was a little over to the right but he told me it looked fine and I agreed finally (yes my fault I know). Piercing came out to $45, I tipped $5 (as an aspiring piercer I get how rough it is and ALWAYS tip at the least $5). When I got home I realized he didn't even pierce where it was marked, it was even more to the right. After the swelling went down I noticed that not only was it not centered it was pierced crooked. It enters on the right side of my lip but then exits more on the left side on the inside of my lip. I just started an internship at another shop that is recognized by APP and they told me that it was pierced horribly, won't heal correctly, I will not be able to stretch it like I planned because it is pierced so crooked, and that the jewelry didn't even look like it was from the supplier that they said it was from. I removed the piercing and upon removal I discovered that the jewelry post was bent. I called today to complain and Chris answered and was beyond rude. I will NOT be returning here for a piercing ever again.
Review Source:I went in to get my cartilage pierced on my ear and it went mostly well. We walked in with the Yelp deal printed out, and since I look young (I guess?), the person at the desk (Paul), had me stand in line for about 10 minutes until he realized that I was actually there as a customer. Afterwards, he had me sign a paper stating that they weren't responsible for any injuries after I got the ear pierce. (Infections, unknown allergies, etc.) Pretty obvious information.
After he looked at the paperwork, he led me into a room, Â put on gloves, and cleaned my ear with an alcohol pad. We determined the placement of where I'd like to get pierced and then after the decision was made, I looked away completely. When I felt the needle go in, it felt like a shot... but in my ear cartilage. My boyfriend said the needle was pretty long; about 2-3 inches, but honestly, it was very painless. Paul then told me to buy Bactine, which is a germ killer and pain reliever and it works beautifully. No pain for a cartilage piercing! After, he just took the $20 as payment and we left.
I gave a 4 star because he didn't explain how to take care of a cartilage ear piercing, so I'll tell you what I know c:
1. Clean the area 2-3 times a day with the Bactine. Use a cotton ball or cotton swab for EACH ear (if you get both ears pierced). Twist the earring ONLY when you clean your new piercing so that the antiseptic can go into the piercing.
2. Wash your hands before you touch and/or clean the area so you can prevent infection.
3. Keep hair FAR from the area. For girls, use a bobby pin to keep stray hairs away.
4. When showering, you should wear a ziplock or sandwich baggy on the ear to prevent shampoo getting in the hole.
5. Within the week, you might notice that your new ear pierce will start to swell and your earring will look a little dipped in. It's normal. If you want to lower to swelling, you can soak your new piercing in a warm salt water soaking (but don't use iodized salt! Use non-iodized salt for the soakings), then rinse the ear afterwards with warm water.
That's mostly all I know! I really like All in Ink but they need to have more information on how to take care of piercings other than "Buy Bactine." (Bactine can be bought on Amazon, CVS, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, etc.) :] I bought the CVS brand for about $4 cheaper! Bactine was $10 while the CVS brand was around $5-$6 :)
I came here for the first time today. I had a helix piercing done at another location and after a few weeks, I was still in excruciating pain and my ear was swelling and throbbing. I decided I'd had enough and tried to remove it, but the swelling was so severe, it got stuck halfway. I came here to have it removed. Paul helped me and he was AMAZING. He made me feel very comfortable saying no worries, he'd get it out and he was very sweet. He didn't make me feel stupid for trying to remove the jewelry myself, as I've known other piercers to do. He even invited my daughter in, who was lingering in the corner unsure if she was allowed back by the chairs. He said he didn't want to hurt me and assured me he could remove it without even touching my ear, just the jewelry, even though it was stuck and embedded in my ear! He was right! Whatever tools he used didn't touch my skin once and he got it out in all of 6 seconds, NO exaggeration. And the pain I felt is exactly like he described it would be. He didn't sugarcoat it. He smiled, jewelry in hand and said, "It's out! You just need the right tools". His technique was flawless. The charge was $10 and I ended up giving him the whole $20!
I'd imagine if he can remove jewelry from a new piercing on an already painful, swollen and EXTREMELY tender area with such care, he could do a fresh piercing  with his eyes closed.
Amazing service from Paul.
So I was wanting to get another tattoo and while in the mall shopping I decided to stop by and just check it out. I was a little hesitant considering the location, how good could a shop inside a mall really be? I was greeted by Ray who listened to my idea, I wanted some small script, and convinced me to have it done in my own handwriting, which I thought was cool and different. He was free and he took me right away. He's a really cool guy and kept conversation the whole time all while maintaining a level of professionalism. I'm very happy with the way my tattoo turned out and would definitely go back. Ray is awesome!
Review Source:I had my first piercing done on my ear lobe at this place. The guy who did the piercing was nice enough but he wasn't as knowledgeable as I would expect. The overall procedure was relatively sterile except for the fact that the guy used regular  paper towels to wipe with instead of sterile gauze.
The reason I'm giving this place a one star is due to the monetary transaction. After the piercing was done, I wanted to pay with credit card. The guy said that they didn't take credit cards and was cash only. The piercing with the jewelry cost 30 dollars and all I had was a hundred dollar bill. To my surprise, the guy just takes 70 dollars from his pocket and gives it to me as change. Furthermore, when I asked for a receipt, the guy just  shrugs and says it's their boss's policy not to have receipts. This store is located inside Westfield Mall and yet the transaction did not involve even a cash register or written receipt, felt like I bought something from a street vender off the side of the road.
Paying for the work done felt sketchy as hell, especially when a transaction was made without any documentation. I don't know anything about their tattoo work but just based on their business methods, I won't be coming here again.
i went to get an industrial piercing and this place was pretty legit they took care of me  right away! & the piercing was done so fast & almost painless so far so good on my piercing i cant wait to go back & get more piercings & maybe even tattoo work there :) THANKS GUYS! i only wish the guy would make conversation & made it a little less akward  :)
