  When I decided that I wanted a sleeve, my brother recommended Robert Atkinson. As soon as I saw his art, I knew I wanted it on me forever and booked my appointment for a full sleeve of Japanese style peonies & butterflies. Robert is an amazingly talented artist, and  also a gentleman and a very cool guy. Not only do I love the work he's done on me, but I've enjoyed the many hours we've spent together. My sleeve is finally complete and it is more beautiful than I ever imagined. I get compliments wherever I go! I can't wait to go back to him for my other arm, and I highly recommend that you check him out as well! :)

  Woohoo as good as it gets indeed...this guy is an animal, a true artist,gentlemen....I can not sat enough about my experience with Robert Atkinson. I have been tattooed by world famous artist ....and consider Robert the best artist for me hands down. I will continue to return to wherever Robert works....thanks for reading!

  One of the best dudes I know and without a doubt the best tattoo artist I know.  Unlike many others, he isn't doesn't do this for the money, he does it out of his love for art and people.  No words can truly describe his talent, you have to see for yourself.  Contact him and set up an appointment with him.  The one thing you shouldn't do is go to him with a picture and ask him to do that on you.  It would be like asking Van Gogh to do a paint by number.  Talk over your idea with him and show him pictures as examples, but let him create something to fit you personally, you will not regret it.

  Here's the review: I know A TON of famous tattoo artists, great talent..and if I name drop Robert Atkinson, they ALL show respect. This guy has been around for awhile and is a master of his craft. Traditional, Asian, black & grey...he kills it all. Super nice guy and super creative, he will design each piece to suit your body. I can't recommend him enough.
  
  He's also a great painter and one of his specialties is custom painting Van's slip ons. Great gift ideas...

  i've been researching for years to finally get my first tattoo. numerous tattoo conventions, traveled parts of indonesia, thailand and japan for the perfect tattoo artist! i believe in having a connection with the artist, after all, it'll be on your skin for the rest of your life. anyways, i finally found an artist i wanted from a long beach tattoo convention back in summer of '06. his name's Robert Atkinson in Granada hills!! it's only 10 minutes from where i live!! much detail, and the studio is CLEAN! appointments only! he's booked for months! be prepared to wait
