Hair by Doris

I LOVE having Doris cut my hair.  Having visited a number of stylists before her, I was never quite satisfied until I found her.  She gives my hairstyle texture, style, depth, and personality.  Every time, I'll bring a photo in with a semi-different style in each photo, and she does well in recreating it.  Thank you, Doris.  You are wonderful and pleasant to chat with as well.

I found Doris through a Groupon almost a year ago and have never gone to anyone else after my experience with her. People think it's easy to cut Men's hair but to Doris, all hair takes equal time and effort.

She gives you high fashion hair at incredibly reasonable prices. I honestly think she could charge double and get away with it -- she's that good!

It is helpful to her if you bring a picture of a hairstyle you want and show her a 360. She takes a moment to process it and replicates it exactly. You can always feel safe explaining to her your desires and concerns.

My hair is especially think and puffy. Most hairdressers don't seem to know how to manage it. Doris knows every hair type under the sun and will give you the look that you want. Shoot her a text and test out a haircut. You won't be sorry.

Honestly, she is LA's best kept not-so secret.

Went to Doris for a much overdo haircut and had one of the best experiences.  Doris listened to my limited description of what I wanted (I had a general idea but didn't have a specific picture in mind)  I left with one of the best cuts I've had and happy to say still loving my cut after a week of having to style my hair myself. Doris also provided tips for how to maintain the salon look after I got home.  I highly recommend Doris - she is professional, very skilled, and is no nonsense - no trying to sell you products etc.  Can't wait to go back!
