I've gotten tattooed by both guys at Ink Sessions. The first time I came here was on one of their special days (if you follow their shop you might luck into a really good deal on a tattoo) and came in for the Robot Devil from Futurama...later I came back and got Bender with angel wings on the other shoulder. Both of those tattoos were done by Marco, and they came out looking like one of the Futurama artists had done it. I get compliments on them everywhere, all the time, including from the animators of Futurama AND Matt Groening himself! So you can be sure Marco did a kick ass job on them. I wasn't sure initially when I came into this job how I would feel about my work, as it comes across as very Hispanic, which is generally not the kind of tattoo style I like, and while the guys are able to do this really well, they are both very versatile artists and I've seen them do all sorts of styles really well. And the Hispanic style decorations they have up in the shop are actually really awesome, and I wish these guys had done my sugar skull instead of the guy who did.
I'm currently working on an Alice in Wonderland piece that Chris drew up for me. He drew it exactly to my specifications and even better than I imagined. Chris apparently used to be an animator, so he's really awesome at that style, as well as cute pinup girls. He spends a lot of time doing art outside of tattooing and you'll see them all over at horror and comic conventions and stuff...art is pretty much what these guys do.
They don't have too many people working at the shop, but the people who are there are good, and they have a new intern girl who is also really friendly and helpful.
