I'm new to town and was looking for a good place to get pierced. Came in and should have walked right back out with how rude their receptionist was being to me. She told me it'd be a 20 minute wait and I stayed for about 40 before I decided to leave..lack of communication and poor customer service skills will keep people away.
Review Source:I got my navel pierced here while I was on Vacation this last Saturday. Â I have previously had my navel done but it's been out for 4 years after I had become pregnant with my last son. Â First of all the guy (Chris) pierced through a new hole and the old scar was now stuck in the middle of the jewelry making it look horrible. It was not straight, and the jewelry he used was too small in length. Â After returning home the following day I was feeling pretty bad about my decision. Â To top it off the only after care he gave me was to clean it with dial twice day and don't play with it. Â They sell
Product there to clean with but no one suggested it. To top it off you pay upfront including tip before they do any work. Wack!!!!!4 days after I got the piercing it became painful and the Jewelry was literally SINKING into the piercing!!!! After calling them they referred me to a local tattoo/piercing shop that saved the day! I ended up having to purchase new jewelry that actually fit properly and spent $117 on that from another shop to fix the botch job that was initially done from Club Tattoo :(
So I schedule an appointment a week out to go over my tattoo design with Chipp. Â I get to Club Tattoo and Chipp decides to blow me off so he can finish someone's tattoo. Â A nice girl named Mo printed off all my stuff and we worked together so she could share my concepts with Chipp. Â She said what I was doing was pretty cool. Â She said she'd have Chipp call me that night....the night passes, no call from Chipp. Â So I call in the morning and get some other lady (didn't get her name). Â I explained the situation and that Chipp blew me off on our appointment and then didn't follow through on the call...and that I was looking to see if Chipp and I could discuss. Â Chipp gets on the phone, doesn't apologize for wasting my time, and proceeds to criticize my plans and says he doesn't want to do. Â
Those of you considering Club Tattoo - I'd stay away from Chipp.
btw, I did some more homework and just scheduled with Sting's Tattoo Studio and found him to be very responsive and polite.
I had wanted a nose piercing and tattoo for as long as I could remember. So I did my research. IMO a tattoo and a piercing is not something you get with out looking it, well a tattoo more. I finally decided on Club Tattoo.
I got my nose pierced in September of 2009. The piercer was very professional, put on gloves and a mask over their mouth. All the equipment was sterile and they made sure I put my purse where it would not make the sterile field dirty. Very fast, I did not even feel it being done. They gave me written care instructions, and I bought of can of cleaning solution. All the jewelry for piercing is displayed in a well lit case in the front of the store. When I returned to buy different rings for my nose, they had on gloves as they removed it from the case.
In December I came back to get my first tattoo. I had consulted with the artist and was given a price and time estimate of how long it would take. When I was able to I came and put a down a small payment and made an appointment. When I came in to get my tattoo, she took me right in. Prepped me and put the outline on me. From the time I got there to when I paid was less than an hour and fifteen minutes. Less than time she told me it would take to actually get the tattoo. My artist was Lindsey, she was very fast but my tattoo looks amazing.
From what I get from talking to other people, this shop is more expensive. But I am true believer you get what you pay for. And a tattoo is something I will have on me for the rest of my life, so I would pay any amount to make sure it looks great and is done by artists who know how to do their work well.
I have gone to other shops, and I knew as soon as I walked I would not return. One shop I walked into smelled of cigarette smoke and they had coffee cups everywhere. Â The private rooms when getting a tattoo is a huge plus. Â Club Tattoo is always spotless and the staff is very professional.
