Amazingly friendly staff. Clean and professional. When I came in every chair was full and the had a couple of people at the counter. It only took 30 seconds to greet me & 4 minutes to get through the line to me. They took the time to make a personal connection with me and advised me on what would look best for my body. I will absolutely be coming back to get all my work done here!

I have had two large pieces completed by these guys, and I am completely satisfied.  I live outside the area now, but gladly make the trip to get the high quality artwork these folks provide.  Jacob and Alex are both professional, and I would recommend their shop to anyone considering a tattoo.  You might pay a bit more here, but you will be glad you did.

I came in to inquire about piercing my ears. I had them done ages and ages ago and I needed them re-pierced. I got stainless steel studs and piercing for a really good price here! Alex did the piercing and he was super nice and friendly and had lots of information on how to care for my piercing and what may have been the causes of my past piercing issues.

Getting the actual piercing was quick, painless and easy. I hate needles at the doctor/dentist, but for some reason piercings and tattoos aren't that bad. This place is really nice and clean, very tactfully decorated. They are a new shop in Belltown (they moved from White Center about two months ago).

There weren't many options for jewelry when I got my ears pierced, but there were a lot of other jewelry options for other types of piercings it appeared. I love what I got and this place is great :) Check it out. Welcome to Belltown Dzul!

I took my daughter here for a tattoo and was very pleased with the personal service and professionalism we received from all of the staff . We have been to other shops in the past and never before experienced the creativity & personal pride and ownership that the staff here displays . I am definitely coming back for a tattoo of my own in the near future .

I came in today to get a simple nose piercing.  I was welcomed and treated kindly by all of the staff members.  I didn't have anyone come with me for moral support, but I felt at ease there - I wasn't that nervous! The facility and tools were clean and looked great.  While I waited, there was tons of amazing air-brush art to look at on the walls, as well as original sketch books from the artists/owners.
At first, I was a little intimidated by the mondo guy who was going to pierce my nose, but he helped me figure out what kind of stud to get, which side to get it on, and he explained lots of things to me, made sure all of my questions were answered and was incredibly happy and friendly.  I felt so comfortable!
I did not have any pain, my piercing was done quickly and efficiently.  I would recommend this place to anyone! These guys are truly artists.

I've been wanting a Robin Tattoo for awhile. But couldn't find a place I wanted to go so When Dzul opened I thought I would go there. And I'm glad I did. Alejandro was very helpful in helping decide what Robin would be best. The design he drew up was perfect. Jacob who did my tattoo was nice and did an awesome job. I recommend them to everyone! They're very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I'm very happy with my tattoo.

I have had three tattoos done at Dzul and have always left feeling great. However, the most recent experience was horrible and washed out all good thoughts I have had about this shop. Not only was I treated rudly, but I was treated as though my business didn't matter. Over a month ago I contacted them to do a tattoo for my boyfriend. I spoke with Alex. He seemed very excited to come up with a unique piece. At HIS request, I set up an appointment for the following week to discuss design specifics and pay their $300 deposit. Well, my boyfriend and I showed up for the appointment, only to wait around for over an hour just to be told neither Alex or Jacob were going to make it. Ok, things happen, I understand. So the lady that was there went over some ideas with us and we paid the deposit and scheduled another appointment 3 weeks out. We showed up for that appointment today only to be told that they had us scheduled for the wrong day and we couldn't be seen. Not only that, but the design wasn't even finished. And they all acted like it was no big deal. That WE needed to come back. This was twice now that an appointment was made and they messed up and we were being sent away with nothing. Needless to say I got my 300 deposit back and took my business elswhere....for those of you looking for a great place and at a much better price (my boyfriend ended up getting a tattoo to match mine. Dzuls price was double what we paid at the new place) go to Derm F/X in Auburn. I will never go back to Dzul. Even for being a repeat customer, their customer service was horrible.

Dzul is a family business of four, yet only two of the four siblings that own the shop have been of help in the last 4-5 years i have been a returning customer. I work on the same block as their shop in white center and always try to shop local even though their prices are high. I was in this past week to purchase several pieces of jewelry. I was disappointed to learn that I had been advised to buy a piece of jewelry that was going to work for my piercings only to find out their new employee sold me the incorrect size and was unable to exchange her mistake during the transaction. Not only was I sold incorrect jewelry I was rung up wrong at the counter. The shop itself is pretty neat and well kept but the knowledge base of merchandise was not at all helpful. I would hope they educate all employees on what is being sold. I will return as a customer in the future with the hope of better service.

(This was transcribed as my daughter dictated to me.)

Ding! Ding! Ding! Walk into the door of Dzul. You can get a tattoo, a shirt...even underwear! But, the most popular thing is to get a tattoo or a piercing on your body. It doesn't hurt too much; if it you want to know what it feels like, just ask the lady and she can tell you (Catalin). And, the pinch she does will feel like the pierce. They have millions of earrings, even earrings that have flags on them.

Once you get your ears pierced, you have a nice, cozy black bed. First,  lie down and see what it feels like. Then she'll clean your ears, and then she'll put a blue spot on your ear. And, then get cozy and stick the needle in your ear and then in the cork. And, if you can speak, you might say, "Finally!" (you might be a baby when you get your ears pierced and can't speak yet).  Then she'll put the earring in, then the back in. It's a snap! (That's an onomatopoeia). Then she'll put the next one in and you'll say, "Finally!" again.

Your mom is probably going to buy a shirt and then you walk out the door. And, it will feel good if you get some pizza next door at Proletariat.

You may think of my review as poem.  Adios!

On a Sunday afternoon, I somehow mustered up the courage to get a body piercing. The problem was, the shops I had in mind were all closed. Well, fortunately for me this place was open. I had passed by many times and kind of just thought of it as being the "hood" tattoo spot, but I was definitely mistaken. It's clean and well organized in side. There are sketches of designs all across the walls, as well as pictures, and there are also racks of items for purchase.

I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to get pierced, but I knew I wanted something. The girl at the cash register looked kinda fierce, but she was SO nice. She gave me a book full of pictures and prices to check out. She was happy to answer any questions I had and was also patient enough to give me a good amount of time to figure it out for myself. Eventually, I made my decision and waited for my turn.

The room was very clean and the lady was extremely professional. She explained everything she was going to do ahead of time and made me feel fairly relaxed about something that she even admitted would hurt like hell, but would be over in a matter of seconds. Even though I screamed like a girl (wait, I am a girl), it was over before I knew it and I now have a totally awesome piercing.

Cons: I think it was slightly more expensive than other piercing salons I have looked at. And the barbell ended up being too small for the area, so I had to go back to have it changed, which really sucked.

The artists here is great. I got my tattoo here and I think it is beautiful. I gave the artists a lot of freedom in the design and color choice, and he impressed me completely. Their shop is super clean, with plenty of art and other things to keep you occupied. They also do airbrushing which is sweet if you don't want to committ to a tattoo, but want some cool clothes? just a thought.
They have their own specific style, but seem able to do anything. In particular, I was impressed with their black tats and unique lettering style. If you're latino, or want a latino themed tattoo, this is the place for you - ellos se pueden entender....la neta.
