Quick, decent service and reasonably priced. However, I can't get over what I saw on my last visit, December 2012. I went into the restroom and there were bugs, I think cockroaches, crawling on the walls, sink and toilet. I noticed more bugs crawling on the walls just outside the restroom area. I left there feeling dirty. The cleanliness of this business is horrible. If you can overlook the bug issues then this place is okay. I won't be going back.
Review Source:I have been a loyal customer for about a year now. I would have rated them before but I just didn't feel they were * spectacular * in any sense. The girl who usually did my eyebrows was quick and efficient, though, she was not always consistent. She knew what she was doing, no doubt. My eyebrows were always a different shape when I left from the last time she did them. That's not to say they looked bad. They always looked good and were clean (no need to even use tweezers!) and were trimmed. I went here because it was fast, cheap, and close to work.
2 days ago I went in to get my brows cleaned up. My usual girl wasn't there. I should have left.
I went in after the lunch hour rush because I had planned on asking her to wash her hands before she started (why is it so hard to find a place where they WASH between touching clients faces/open pores/greasy skin?! Is is so much to ask that they follow sanitary procedures?!) and to maybe wipe my eyebrows with something to clean them before they started ripping hair out of my skin. Simple right? Well, the girl didn't understand what I was asking. So I asked if there was someone who could translate. She thought I could just wipe my face with a Kleenex with hand sanitizer. Then she suggested to clean with aloe gel and a tissue. Then she agreed to sprinkle some water on a tissue and wipe with that. Frustrated - i asked "don't you do facials here too?? surely you must have some sort of facial cleanser or something!!" She reluctantly walked into the facial room and came out and wiped down my eyebrows. Then they were threaded. Hairs left over - barely trimmed. Pretty 1/2 ass job (unlike my usual lady).
Gripes I have with this place -
After threading my open pores are rubbed by hot sweaty fingers - over and over. Its a nice thought but the hands are not clean! And warmth after waxing/threading is NOT what you want. I always break out after. ew.
Not consistent with the shape. Whatever.
My last visit - I went to the restroom after I was done with my eyebrows to wash my hands (as I always do) and I HEARD the sound of cockroaches running for their lives. Some were bold and didn't care that I was there and continued about their business on the slimy uncleaned toilet with splattermarks. There were also several smashed roached all over the floors. So - let me get this straight. You see cockroaches - smash them - and LEAVE THEM AND THEIR GUTS all over your businesses floor!? Wouldn't you - at the very least - want to clean them up and spray a line of raid? How about wash the brown and yellow grime off of the toilet and nearby walls?! This is a business you are trying to run here!!
That's enough of my rant. I wont be going back. *shudders*
ive been here twice and their pretty okay. i didnt really have to wait long and the big parking lot is a plus.
well back to their work on my eyebrows. its a local threading place and cheap-ish. it wasnt completely equal with each other but good enough so that i had a pretty shape again. i adjusted it when i got home. also if you tell them your a student from citrus or APU, you get a discount so i think it comes out to be like $6. Otherwise i think its $8. so if you want a quick clean around the caterpillars, give this place a shot
When I walked in I thought they might be closed because there were just 2 ladies watching an Indian movie and i felt like I was interrupting their show but one pointed for me to "sign in" and then proceeded to thread me with one eye on my brow and one on the movie...but i have to say she did a good job and the price was definitely right!
Review Source:Been coming here since May or June. I love the price! I don't know my usual girls name but the last time I went she was busy so I got someone else. She did my brows a little thinner than I am used to, but the shape is still awesome. This is my trusted spot. The frequent customer punchcard I don't really understand. They keep replacing mine before I fill it up. But whatever. She only charges me $6 usually.
Review Source:I gave up waxing a long time ago, I don't need anything tugging away at my face assisting gravity with the aging process.
I come here when I don't have time to make the drive out to Ziba in Rancho Cucamonga. Mostly, I like the price. I've had my eyebrows done here by two different girls and both times I was satisfied by the results. Not perfection but close enough. Both times they stopped in between to let me check and make sure everything was to my liking. One girl worked slower than the other so it hurt a little more than it usually does. You really can't beat the price AND they have a frequent customer punch card.
I LOVE going here! After many years of rather painful threading at my former nail salon, this place is a breath of fresh air. They are very clean and do an excellent job on my eyebrows and upper lip. After, they usually give me a quick face massage. The women are very friendly and this is truly a wonderful place!
Review Source:I have been letting my eyebrows grow after years of plucking. Â I went to Glory Threading as I read so many good reviews. Â The place was very clean and there was no wait. Â I didn't catch the name of the lady who threaded my eyebrows but she was very nice and did a good job. Â I think I need to go back a few more times in order to see if I "love" this place and become a regular customer. Â Also the price is great.
Review Source:They do a great job here with my eyebrows. $8, and they take credit, which my old threading place didn't do. The ladies are nice and don't give me a hard time if I ask them to retouch what they've done. They have a customer rewards program so that the 11th threading is free.
It's not the most luxurious place, but they do a good job and are pleasant people.
i feel very comfortable coming here to get my eyebrow tamed and separated into two eyebrows. getting eyebrow threading isn't the easiest thing for a guy to do but the ladies here make me feel at ease and if they do make fun of me then the politely wait until have left =). but really, you can't beat the price. 8 bucks and it's fast and some of the girls who work there can thread without it even hurting. i'm glad i found this place because other than being really cheap, it's really close!
Review Source:3.5
$8 for eyebrow threading, and located literally 5 minutes from my place.
What is there not to love?
The ladies here are nice, not pushy (like places like Ziba) and the gal I did was a tad meticulous with the threading, but the results were satisfying. Apparently they have been open for 8 months, and sure I've seen them, but I've never thought to try or Yelp them. To my surprise they received pretty decent reviews...I just hope they get a good flow of business to stay in Azusa/Glendora. (No really, we NEED a place like this)
I will admit that I cringed several times (but it's threading...it would take a numb face not to have some feeling) and at one point I'm sure my right eye was tearing...but the girl paused, wiped my forming tear and made sure I was okay. At the end she smoothed on cool lotion and did a fantastic short massage. I was in a 2 minute heaven in the middle of the day.
The place itself is located in the Stater Bros plaza, right next to Sakae Sushi and a Barbers shop.
As I went to pay, I was glad that they accepted most cc's and also was given a stamp card WITH a $5.99 incentive if I came back for a touch-up. Noooot bad at all.
Came here the week they opened sometime summer 2010 for eyebrow threading. The gal that helped me missed a few hairs and when I showed it to her she said they were ingrown hairs and could not be removed at this time. I was like, What?!
I have had threading done before and  usually they use a tweezer to clean up anything they missed and use scissors to shape the rest of your brows if necessary. Needless to say I have not been back.
Glendora, Azusa, Covina we now have a reputable, and GREAT threading place! Â I was driving to Pasadena to be threaded, but I found this place (in the Stater Bros. shopping center) and am so extremely happy with them. Â I get my face done for $25! Â I was paying more in Pasadena. Â Plus one of the ladies does an amazing face massage :) Â This place is great, affordable, and the ladies are all very nice and do a good job. Â They also have a card that you can get stamped everytime you go and you end up getting the 11th threading FREE :)
Review Source:I went in here randomly yesterday with my friend..it was our first time getting our eyebrows done ever! (we are both really scared when it comes to pain) We tried eyebrow threading for the first time ever, it hurts at first but the pain goes away....plus they massage a soothing lotion afterward, it was very refreshing! The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is super friendly. They comforted us when we shrieked in pain. My friend and I are planning to go back for henna and bikini wax, shall be an interesting day. Most definitely give this place a try! Its worth it!!!
