  I have been looking a tattoo artist for a very long time.  A friend of mine recommended Baku to me, and since I wanted a koi fish and him being Japanese... I thought it would be worth exploring.
  
  I have a killer koi fish on my arm that has now inspired me to continue the ink into a full sleeve. This man is  very patient and he takes his work seriously. I love that the studio is very clean and private.  The decor makes you feel like you are in Japan.
  
  Baku's portfolio is very impressive, but the photos don't do his work justice.  I can't wait for my next session in November.

  Baku is just awesome at what he does.. Clean / professional work..  I'm completely satisfied with my ink.. Met him 3 years ago... Started on a 3/4 sleeve with a chest plate, after 28hrs of hard work.. I was left with a beautiful piece of art.. If ur looking to get any traditional Japanese work done Baku is the man!! U won't be disappointed!!!!!!!

  Horibaku Tattoo studio is led by Baku Watanabe. I have gotten tattoos before from other places, but Baku is by far the most professional artist I have experienced. I researched his work prior and his work was amazing. We first met with face to face consultation and he listened to my idea with very much respect and humility. He is always willing to work with your idea and make it come alive. He also free hands your idea which I thought of it very highly. His attention to detail is just amazing. He will put an amazing art on your body.  His studio is very nice and clean and makes you feel very comfortable. If you want to get a tattoo, I highly, genuinely, sincerely, recommend Horibaku tattoo Studio. I am very confident that you will be 100% satisfied with his work.

  I am honored that he gave me my first tattoo.  A mom/son heart. I am sure he will never forget the experience.  Very gentle and kind spirit.  Aware, alive and honorable. Additionally, he has done beautiful work on my son, meaningful tattoo's that are filled with the essence of the true lineage of great tattoo artists. No ego, he gets out of the way and let's the energy flow.... a genuine vehicle of a profound light....

  The best hands down! I've known Hori Baku for about five years now. I remember when I saw his portfolio I was token back. I knew to myself that he was the one for me. My body suit has me going committed every week Friday. Both my sleeves, chest, stomach, back, legs, are done by this tattoo genius!! If you ever stop by Los Angeles or are here in town stop by his shop on 3rd. Remember this is only for the committed at heart!!! Thanks Baku

  Excellent Artist. Over 50 hours of excellent work on my body.  I met BAKU many years ago and asked him to do a sleeve of the 7 deadly sins.  Since that fateful moment he has completed the 7 sins and now he has started a HORIMONO piece on my entire body.  God bless and many good fortune to you and yours.

  Love love love Baku! One of the best artist I have worked with. I have 2 tattoos done by him and they look AMAZING. He cares about the way the tattoo is placed on the body as well as your comfort.

  Baku is an extremely talented artist that I am glad to have met. His Japanese background make him the perfect artist for the style. When you meet with him he will make sure you are confident in his skills and that you are satisfied with what will go on your body. I have had over 40 hours of work done on me and I am constantly complimented on how beautiful my artwork is. If you go to him you will not be disappointed!!

  Met Baku 4 years ago and haven't gone to any other tattoo artist since.  Started out with a chest piece that went into a half sleeve.  Just last year I asked him to finish my sleeve.  I plan to get my other arm done and he is the only one I am going to go to.  Baku is one of the few tattoo artists who strive to excel in their craft.  He is hard-working and dedicated to his clients.  He takes his time to make sure everything is in the right place and if he is not satisfied he will start over just to make sure the tattoo looks right on you.  If you want a great looking Japanese tattoo then Baku is the man to see!
