Javieneedlez V. is the man to go to for clean, fast, sincere, careful, acknowledge, professional, piercer . He did my "Quad spider bites" on my bottom lip, upgrading from a Labret 10 gauge. Did all four piercings all at once, took the pain under 15mins and we were set and ready to go. I've always known of mission tattoo since I was little when they were located on mission blvd in Glen Avon. Glad I got my piercings professionally done by one of the best in town. Thank you Javie!!!

Review Source:The reviews speak for themselves! Javier is a no-bull professional. Is it going to hurt? Yes. Are you going to love it? Yes!
He did my daith and triple forward helix, and they were surprisingly less painful than expected. I attribute this to his quick, concise and gentle skills. I've never even come close to having a problem with the healing process unlike many of my friends who went elsewhere.
I wish I'd have come here for all my previous piercings, but now that I have Javier, he's the only one I trust. Unlike Corona Tattoo, which I don't have a problem with but didn't walk out with fuzzies, Javier actually asked ME where I wanted my piercings positioned and took his time making sure I was happy before he proceeded. At Corona Tattoo I felt a little hurried, it was missing that personal touch.
Javier's pricing is more than fair for a professional, STERILE piercing. Don't skimp and risk a problem!
So far I've had 2 tatts done by STEVEN HOUSE and I have been utterly impressed by his work every time! I cannot wait to come back and get more work done by him. Plus the overall feel of the shop is great, all the artists are so chill and down-to-earth. You will not find better guys than these at Mission.

Review Source:Javier is amazing!
He is the piercer at Mission Tattoo, who also specializes in Dermals.
He came to my rescue in a serious way. Here's the story: I needed to either have my dermal unscrewed or removed...and I REALLY didn't want to remove it because I love it so much, and I get compliments on it like every day. I called one place close to my work, and the guy told me that they "may or may not" be able to unscrew it because some just wont unscrew. Then I asked if they can remove it if necessary, and he said no, I would have to go to the ER to have it removed. Seriously dude, the ER? No... If you can put them in, you better know how to take them out.
Anyways, I coincidentally was approached at a gas station by someone at Mission who does Tattoos, and I asked him about my dermal...Javier happened to be with him, and came out and spoke with me.
He told me to come in and he'd take care of it, so I did a few days later.
This guy knows his sh**. Apparently he is a dermal-guru and people travel from other shops to have him work on theirs. He basically told me that dermals "sometimes" being able to unscrew is not true, and you just have to have the right tool to unscrew it...which of course he had. In addition, he also helped massage my dermal deeper into my cheek so that it doesn't stick out so far, which was causing me to hit it, which was starting to cause irritation and minor infection. Somewhat painful...nothing unbearable, and he was honest about the pain, which I appreciate. (You know how some piercers say it doesn't hurt, and it totally does lol).
So not only did he get my dermal unscrewed, which is all I needed. He totally one-upped my expectations by helping me get it back in place where I wouldn't constantly be hitting or brushing up against it.
Totally impressed, will definitely return, although I don't know that I'll have to cuz he set me up pretty well.
Thanks Javier!
Extremely disappointing experience here. I walked in the first time about a month ago. Their hours say they open at noon, but there wasn't actually anyone in the building until about 12:45. I went in a talked to Cathy, described what I wanted, and then she pawned me off on another tattoo artist, Heather. Heather had forgotten her tattoo machine, so they asked me to wait while she went home to get it. After ten minutes of waiting, I took Heather's card and said I would just contact her to make an appointment.
So...I contacted Heather a little while later, and asked for an appointment. She said she would get back to me on the time, and responded a couple of days later with "you had an appointment at 12, did you forget?". I told her I had never gotten an email with a date or time for an appointment, so we rescheduled for Wednesday. When I went in on Wednesday, I was running about 10 minutes late, so I tried calling to let them know. I got a voicemail for a phone that seemed like it hadn't been answered in a while. When I finally got there, Heather looked at me like I was crazy. She said "You were suppose to be here yesterday. I can fit you in in a couple of hours". At this point I was like....hm....this person is going to be putting permenant ink on my body....do I really want someone so irresponsible doing it? So....I said no thanks and left. Heather emailed me a little later and said she was sorry, but I had been right about the appointment time. She offered to do the tattoo at half price...but I wasn't willing to drive all the way across town again, so I declined. Plus, what's that old saying about getting what you pay for? I will never go back to this place.
Also, their Myspace is in bad need of an update, and they don't have an actual website...which are red flags for me.
