Picked up a nice liquid piece with an in-line perk. Great quality and great price. The staff was extremely nice and patient with me. I am a difficult customer and asked to look at many pieces they had no problem showing them to me and explaining the differences between the different pipes.

I have a very similar experience to William T. below with the same people. This used to be the local smoke shop I'd go to and was always helped out when making large purchases. They apparently no longer do that, despite them acknowledging their higher prices. I used to come here out of convenience, but now it's not worth it. Plenty of other stores around and cheaper prices online.

this place use to be good, when they had the two ladies run the shop. now its a tough looking middle eastern guy and a really skinny punk rock looking guy with really long hair.

As a long time customer, i used to always buy stuff in bulk here. when i mean bulk, i mean probably 150-200 bucks worth of tobacco/coals/etc every month or two. And before, i would always get 10 pct off or no tax on my order.

this past week, when i stopped they told me that they would no longer be doing that. WTF? as a long time customer, i was shocked. Ive spent well over a thousand dollars here on shisha and hookah related products, even bought a hookah (which later turned out to be defective) and did not complain to the about it.

As a regular customer, i shouldnt even have to ask for a discount. I EXPECT ONE. this type of service, i hope this place tanks. will never go back. period. F U monsters of rock. you just lost a valued customer, and yes i will tell all my friends not to visit this terrible establishment again, unless the owner contacts me immediately and makes things right.

    good riddens.

I came in 10 minutes before they were closing to get my piercing, and the piercer was SO PATIENT and SO PROFESSIONAL when she pierced my belly. VERY HAPPY :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great spot with great prices. Make sure to use the $115 for $150 Yelp deal!

I love the piercer here. The fact that she doesn't have 90 piercings in her face and isn't covered in cliche tattoos is a very nice change from some of the other shops I've been to. I've had my nipples and navel pierced by her and I never had any problems with infection or scarring. From now on, this is the only place I will go to for a piercing!

(Sorry I can't comment on the actual Smoke Shop)

I'm scared that if I leave the bay area for too long, I might come back and not be able to find Monsters. Stop moving, guys! I love you and I can't deal with thinking you've closed again because you've migrated around De Anza Boulevard for the umpteenth time!

Everyone I've encountered here has been helpful and knowledgable without being super talkative. I love it. Pipes, vapes, a big variety of hookahs and accessories, and classic smoke-shop novelties (Bob Marley tees, nag champa incense, and a variety of NorCal paraphernalia).

Haven't gotten pierced here yet, update to come.

The two guys that work here are very knowledgeable and sooo friendly.

I recently got my cartilage priced and was looking for a specific type of earing and decided to stop by and see what they have..

They did not have what i wanted.. but the guy that was helping me give me some really helpful information on my piercing.

    Thanks!

MoR#2, is my shop of choice. They tend to have unique and interesting glass always in stock. I am a fan of pieces that are not as common, and this store does the job. I also like the location, its in Cupertino, right next to 85. Employees are always patient, and knowledgeable. I bought my Helix from here, and my room mate bought his Sheldon-Black. As well as my friend bought his HBG Steamroller-Water-pipe. If they like you, they will pay the tax!

Overall I would say an A, as a grade.

this review is for ERIKA B, my piercer.

she was absolutely awesome. not only knowledgeable but also patient and so sweet. after i finally stopped being a chicken and decided to go through with my second lip piercing (spider bite) she showed me to the room. i was amazed that it literally looked like a doctor's office in there. very clean and she washed her hands a bunch of times, changed her gloves about 4 times. it was great. she was way great and i cant believe how good their prices are. all in all i'll definitely be back for anything else i decide to do to myself. she's wonderful:)

i came here saturday to change out my tragus piercing. they're super close to my house (they keep getting closer as their location has changed a few times in the past few years), and i remember i was originally going to get my piercing here especially with the yelp offer of $10 off a $40 piercing, but their piercing room wasn't ready yet during the remodeling.

anyways, i specifically wanted to change my hoop to a stud, but they didnt have any in 18g. the piercer was really nice, and she took the time to shorten a piercing and turn it into an L shape, and was patient as i decided on what color i wanted.

she took me to the back piercing room and did it super quick and was really professional. they do charge you $5 for them to have it change out for you, which is great, as i will be coming back the next time i want it changed!

This review is only based on their hookah stuff.

This place is my go to place for hookah tobacco on a whim. They have a large selection of tobacco; and maybe its just me but I always feel comfortable asking them to let me smell the flavors and stuff and the employees are pretty knowledgeable and make recommendations and/or suggest some popular ones.

The prices are pretty reasonable, on par with most other establishments, so its not something I fret too much about.

For hoses and other small things, they're limited to a few brands/types... ie: bowls, hoses.

The only real complaint I have is the hours! They close too early! I'm always hustling to get there before they close!

Great store for hookah. Wide variety of shisha and coals at great prices. Defiantly should check this place out.

This place is only a 5 minute drive from my house which makes it my go to smoke shop. I don't really spend to much time looking around in here just go in get what I need and get out. The girls/guys that work here are always nice not super friendly but I'm not usually either so totally fine.
I remember when I was 16 I came here to get my belly button pierced and also got an industrial piercing, both are now closed up and I can't remember the guy's name that did the piercings, but I barely felt a thing!
Good and close by my house smoke shop, some of the items are a little bit more than some other nearby smoke shops but since this is way closer to my house this is where I stop whenever I'm in need of a new pipe.

i would give this place 1.5 stars.  The lady who pierced my ear only had 4 years of piercing experience (T.T) well i got my daith, well a little above my daith, and sad to say she had to re-pierce it twice because she messed up the first time because she moved her clamp while piercing my ear, such a painful experience.  also the piercing room looked and felt unsanitary, felt so claustrophobic that room was soooo smallllllll! other than that, the price was reasonable plus they don't even have much of a selection of jewelry

I love this place! This is the only hookah shop I go that that sells ALL SORTS and brands of tobacco with very reasonable prices. You can buy a fine hookah thats only $30! Two types of coals and the two ladies that I always see are always welcoming and more than happy to help you out with items that are inside the cases.

They have TONS of bongs and pipes, but I have no use for them.

Monsters also pierces almost anything. I got my eyebrow and ear pierced here. Their prices for those are a little high in my opinion, but everything worked out just fine.

I have mixed feelings about this place.
I used to check out the jewelry stash often, but after a few visits (and noticing the same stock) I've stop shopping here.

The jewelry isn't stocked well (considering they do piercings).  And their selection of plugs is poorly stocked.

A few years back, I got my tragus done.  That went smooth.
Not too long ago, I took my cousin here to get her ears stretched (like a 16 gauge) and she was sooo scared, but the piercer made her feel at ease.  Then I came in a few months after that to get my ears stretched larger...  The gal (who was or still is the piercer there) said they DON'T stretch ears anymore b/c people don't ask for it as often (Okay then?!).  If your a pericing place, at least have all the services available.

I never really thought I would get my lip pierced, but I did it! I went spontaneously with my friend Linda L. on Yelp!!

So we got lost... quite a few times and called too many times, but the two women that worked there were really nice about it.

So I get my lip pierced for $40 bucks, which isn't bad at all. All of the equipment she used was sterilized and she changed gloves a few times as well!. She was very thorough about everything I asked since I wanted to know what will happen and this and that. I basically asked a lot of questions haha.

I never planned on getting anything pierced besides my ear lobes because of a horrific experience with claire's.

It was one of the spontaneous moments, where my friend wanted to get her bottom lip pierced and i said sure! i'll take you since its near where we have to go anyways. takes us 20 minutes to get there, 20 minutes to get lost, because apparently monsters of rock 1 is on a different street as i originally yelped, and 2 is at a slightly different location.

BUT. we called the shop so many times because we were lost, i was surprised they weren't fed up with us! our main concern was the shop being closed before we got there.

My friend got her lip piercing for $50. The piercer talked to her about cleaning, what to expect, and gave her some Bacitracin zinc ointment (1 of the 3 ingredients in neosporin).

The room for piercing was cleaned, there were sterilized equipments, it looked like an examination room. They use nitrile gloves, in case of latex allergies.

After that was done, i decided to get my cartilage pierced! $30 for that and no complications yet, i just hope my body isn't allergic to what they used. Updates if anything =)

The four stars are for their piercing.  The shop itself gets two stars.

I took my friend in to get her tongue and labret pierced.  Lesviana was our piercer.

She was VERY sanitary about the entire procedure.  Her gloves were changed no fewer than three times per piercing.  She had good table-side manner and was very knowledgable.  I admired her procedure for picking out jewelery.

The only downsides were a) I had to ask first about all of the after care procedures, and b) her hands were shakey.  She did a good job, but towards the end you could tell her hands were tired from being in such an awkard position for too long.  Their table needs to be shorter for this reason, as the piercer was very very short and had to stand on her tip toes to be face-to-face with my friend while doing the procedure.

As far as price this place gets an extra star because the piercings were CHEAP!  It was only $100 for two piercings, jewelery and a tip.

As far as the rest of the stuff in the store, though?  All very expensive and pricer than other head shops (or at least pricer than Paramount Imports).  You have to ask the employees to help you, instead of them ever acknowledging your existence, even if they're right in front of you.

So, if you're looking for a cheap piercing done well on the fly, this is a good place.  If you're looking for anything else... eh.

I drove 40 miles here after someone promised me that they sold pink pipes. NOPE. They only have the crappy glass ones and regular liquor store ones, no pink ones in sight. They do, however, carry every cigarette brand imaginable. It was here that I bought my first Camel No. 9 when no one else carried them yet. The woman that works here is pretty cool and helpful. Not a place I'd return to though unless I was really bored in Cupertino.
