Went to $10 piercing last night! It was a long wait, which we expected..I mean, come on. $10 any piercing? Of course there's a long wait!
Anyway, the piercers were both quick, super nice, and our piercings look great!
If you have the patience to hold off on that piercing you've been wanting until the last Friday of the month, it's only $10. (:
Checked these guys out this weekend. They were rude, useless, and over priced! They barely looked up from the you tube video on their phones to tell us they didn't have time (sign said open and no other clients) and that a 4"x6" tribal tat was going to cost us $400! Of course they could just hate lesbians?! Go to evolution! Great guys, great price! $150 same tat, same day excellent quality!
Review Source:I've been wanting a tattoo for days for my daughter! We went in today while on a mini vacation and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! George did my tattoo exactly how I wanted it and was very patient with me! Normally walking into a tattoo shop the artist are completely arrogant and cocky. Not here! Prices are really reasonable and the tattoo he did turned out beautiful! Thanks guys!! I'll be back!
Review Source:Brian Chambers is an amazing artist. My husband got a tattoo yesterday across his shoulder and upper arm. It looks incredible! The shading and depth make it so realistic. It looks awesome! We live out of town, and Brian worked very hard to get it all done in one sitting. He might only have 3 years experience, but his artistic talent would make you think he's been doing this for many years. We definitely recommend Brian Chambers at Reno Tattoo Company!
Review Source:Best place and people ever.  Clean, over and above.  I had some tattooing over/against a newer scar.  Jordan was great.  Excellent size and detail.  He understood 100 percent of what I wanted.  Didn't try at all to change my ideas  or design, just worked with so we were both clear.  Few weeks after I made another appointment with him as I decided to add(double) the first piece.  He totally rocked it out.  I have 5 tattoos and never went back to those places, been here twice and will never go anyplace else
Review Source:There once was a girl named Jaime. She was nerdy and used to sleep in her parents room on the floor next to the television at night because there was always a Star Trek marathon on channel 12, and they needed the white noise to sleep. But she didn't.
As Jaime grew up, so did her love for Star Trek. When she went back to college after military school, she took a class at UNR called "Star Trek, Law & Ethics," and won Best Paper Award for a novella she wrote for the class assignment. In fact, she bombarded her professor with her story idea about six months before the class even started, so there's that.
One day, she was skipping through the internet and found a site for learning the Vulcan language; in it, a beautiful, calligraphic script made her fall instantly in love. The script itself was detailed, weighted, and extremely complex. It was then and there she decided to get "Live long and prosper" tattooed, in Vulcan calligraphy, on her arm - but needed an incredible tattoo artist to do so.
So she researched. And researched. And sent out her idea to several artists whom she thought could be up to the task - nothing. She received a word of mouth recommendation for Brian Chambers at Reno Tattoo Co, but when she went in, heard that he was better for complicated portraits, designs, colors - big projects you see on people's backs. The person I wanted was Jorge, and he was free for the next two hours.
At 2:06pm I walked out with my right forearm saran wrapped, protecting my own personal sacred text that will remind me of not just the literal meaning of Live Long and Prosper, but to be logical in all things, to approach life without fear, and to remain disciplined.
Jorge did a fantastic, amazing job on the tattoo. He hit every weighted piece perfectly. He made me feel incredibly relaxed, was extraordinarily professional, and redid the sketch on my skin so it could be perfect - tats are forever, and he knew that. I'm pretty set on calling him my artist from now on, should I go back to get more done (which, damn, I might. Shit's addictive). The price is extremely reasonable for how amazing it turned out.
Always, always research your tattoo artist - just because they're great, doesn't mean they're great for what you want done. Jorge had exactly what I was looking for - stunning line work. Need that? Go to him. Go. Go right now and don't look back, unless it's at all the heads you've turned who want to get a closer look at how fucking awesome your new tattoo looks.
awful!! Brian Chambers did a horrible job. I am turning them in because the group of girls that came in with me all got tats and they ALL came out horrible. I confronted Doucher Brian and he was a complete coward about it and ignored me. So, all you who love them better make it count because I am going to do what I can to ruin them!!
Review Source:So much to say!
To begin with I went here for a coverup of an awful tattoo. I had searched all across Reno for the best tattoo artist possible, and received horrible responses. Artists told me my idea wasn't plausible and I needed to give up, or make the tattoo way too large. No one even took the time to sketch something up. That is until I came to Reno Tattoo Co! Brian Chambers not only completely understood my idea, he began sketching it right there in front of me within the size standards I had asked for. The tattoo turned out absolutely stunning and Brian made me feel extremely comfortable. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the future!
I've also had 6 piercings done here. Everything from my second ear piercing, navel, septum, and double nose piercing. Cody is beyond fantastic! My piercings all healed well, the pain was minimum, and they are straight as an arrow. Plus who can beat $10.00 piercing day with jewelry?
Overall an amazing place with an amazing staff!
I have 14 piercings and 7 tattoos. 4 piercings and 2 (soon to be three) tattoos have been from this shop. I honestly don't know why I went anywhere else for any of my work. The piercers here are professional, clean, educated, and they make you feel comfortable. They have piercing deals on the last saturday of every month, and friday the 13th tattoo specials that bring in a ton of clients (many of which come back for more work.) I HAVE had one bad experience with a tattoo artist but thankfully he no longer works there. I feel like a friend walking into RenoTattoo Co. But when it matters, the artists become professional (but not stuffy) and welcoming.
There are two piercers here, one female and one male. In some shops, there's only one piercer and if you want a genital piercing you're kind of screwed if your uncomfortable with the opposite sex doing it. All in all, I love RenoTattoo Co. I wont be going anywhere else.
Went in and got my ear lobes re-pierced. Â I was quoted $20 over the phone, and was told it included jewerly. Â When I got there I was told it was $10 for one ear and then $15 for the other ear. Â Not a huge price difference, but would have been nice to know since they only take cash. Â I'd only brought enough cash for what I was quoted plus a tip and ended up having to pay to use their ATM to get some money.
Other than that, it was a good experience! Â The piercing was quick and painless - they didn't use one of those new guns, just used needles. Â I also saw her remove everything from the sterile packs. Â Everyone that was working there was laid back and CLEAN! Â
The other thing I really liked was that they didn't treat me any differently from anyone else. Â Too many places like this are very rude if you don't have any visible body mods or ink. Â None of my work is easily visible unless I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt, but they weren't rude and didn't treat me any differently from anyone else. Â It was a nice respite from the other places in town.
I only trust Reno Tattoo Co.
Having been here for 95% of my piercings and tattoos, I can honestly say they're the best in Reno. Their work is incredible, the staff is always SUPER friendly, and the cleanliness of the shop always makes me feel at ease.
I've been to a few other shops, and seen some work, and most other places are either way shady, the people that work there are wannabe tattoo artists and do awful work and are extremely creepy and unprofessional, or the feeling of the shop just puts me off.
They gladly take walk-ins, and you always come out feeling like a badass, because your tattoo/piercing looks stellar.
Go Reno Tattoo!
This is not about tattoo work, it is what they did tonight. This shop was not on the Riverwalk Merchants Halloween Trick or Treat, yet they gave out candy. There was a shop on Second Street that was open with a cool window display, yet it was not as inviting. Reno Tattoo Co. had three guys in awesome costumes in front of the shop. Because of this move, I have chosen this as my tattoo shop when finances calm down and I can afford to get a couple of new tattoos. Good job guys!
Review Source:DJ Minor is by far the best tattoo artist in the Reno / Sparks / Carson City area. There are no egos at this shop and DJ and his wife Jen make you feel very welcome which makes your entire tattoo experience a positive one. I highly recommend DJ for anyone out there that wants an amazing piece of art that you'll love for the rest of your life.
