Absolutely THE worst place you could possibly choose. My wife and I went in on Tuesday October 8th, our 30th wedding anniversary to get tattoos to Commemorate the occasion. We wanted them done at that time but Eddy reminded us that we wouldn't be able to lay in the sun or get in the water with fresh tats so we scheduled for Friday the 11th at 8pm, the day before we leave. We went in on Thursday the 10th to reschedule for 6 at which time they stated no problem and if you can come earlier would be even better. Called @ 3 pm Friday to see how early we could come in and was gruffly greeted with "6 o'clock will be fine". We arrived at 5:58 pm and stood around for several minutes - Eddy was doing a tat. Some guy who was on his cell watching 40year old virgin on Oxygen finally decided to get his rear off the couch to see what we where there for. REALLY! Then he seemed bothered by being disturbed by us. We'll by now I'm out of there, requested our deposit money back NOW. They fiddled f'd around for 10 mins before they could produce 2 $20 bills, basically screwing with us cause they just screwed up a $200 plus job. Attitude is everything you stupid people! Just my FYI for anyone staying in waikiki wanting a tat.
Review Source:My mother and sister went in to this shop earlier today. They were greeted by some cold individuals who told them that they could not have their work colored due to their skin tones. My mother is a light skinned black woman and my sister is a little darker, but not as dark as I am and I've got several full color pieces. Last i checked Hawaiian people range in the same hues of beown as we do. They were then informed that before they could set a reservation, they had to put down a $40 deposit. Â The vibe picked up there was not a friendly and welcoming one and that is NOT the experience my mother and sister will have for their first tattoos. Â Sucks because I recommended this place.
