Awesome!  I went to Lily to tattoo my eyebrows.  Actually, it was to fix my eyebrow color.  I originally had my eyebrows tattooed by Donna Reed 10 years ago.  I know all the older ladies go to Donna Reed, including my mom and aunt.  Unfortunately, my eyebrow's shape was too harsh and too dark 10 years ago.  After years of wear, my eyebrows looked dark blueish.  Lily helped me turn them brown and made the shape softer.

I believe I paid $360, but I just gave her $400 total, including tip.  I got 2 sessions for that price.  The first session was the initial shaping and first tattoo application.  After it peeled, I went back for the final touch-up.  Well worth the $400 bucks, as you can't put a price on your face.

Thank goodness I found Lily.  She rents a small room from the spa, so don't expect help from the spa employees.  Lily is from Japan originally and the last time I saw her she was pregnant.  I sure hope she returned to work as she's so talented.

FYI  - eyelash application is amazing too.  She did a few strands for me free and it was beautiful and long for about a month before they fell off.

I found Yuriko Satoh on Yelp and all the previous Yelpers were absolutely correct--Yuriko is THE BEST in the craft of eye lash extensions and permanent makeup. She has completely transformed my look and my life in the most positive way I could ever imagine! She managed to make my tiny Asian eyes look HUGE with AMAZING eyelash extensions and permanent eyeliner! I'm an academic and research has shown that people with larger eyes are seen as more attractive/beautiful AND research has also shown that attractive people are more likely to be treated favorably by others. I owe my life to Yuriko because now whenever I need or want something from someone, I just bat my eyes, and my wish is their command!!!

Once you experience the life changing power of Yuriko's master hand, you will want to keep going back. I started out wanting "giraffe" lashes--natural and long, and she did such an outstanding job on me (made my lashes look TOTALLY natural and really opened up my eyes!), I wanted to do more. I read all the rave reviews on her permanent makeup work, but I was EXTREMELY hesitant to tattoo anything on my face. After all, it is permanent and it's right on my face--the first thing people see when they meet you. I pondered it for a while, but it was Yuriko's warm, trustworthy character and meticulous work on my eyelashes that fully convinced me to take the plunge.

The one thing I experienced that was different from other reviewers was that I was nervous about getting the eyeliner tattoo at first, but the minute I got into Yuriko's office/room, I felt calm and confident that it wasn't going to be painful. My prior experience with Yuriko made me 100% confident that she was not going to do anything that would hurt me. I was absolutely right. She numbed me up so well and she KNOWS exactly where all the tender and most sensitive parts of your eyes are (after all, she's had the procedure done to herself and is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen). All I felt was a slight tickling sensation, which actually felt quite nice. I got both the top and bottom eyeliner done, and even tattooed the insides of my eyelashes to have that deeper look. The whole time, I was expecting the inside tattooing to be the most uncomfortable part, since it is the raw and extremely sensitive part of your eye. However, I didn't even know when Yuriko was doing the insides because she uses a technique where it feels like she's just doing the top of your eye! Before I knew it, we were done, and both the inner and outer parts of my eye were done and completely PERFECT! I don't know how Yuriko has such a steady hand to draw the line on so perfectly. Whenever I do my own eyeliner, my shaky hand can't even get the line straight, and this is after decades of using eyeliner! She makes your eyeliner look so perfect. You'll feel like you are ready to model for Lancôme or Estée Lauder in a magazine! The best part--your eyes will be this perfect EVERYDAY without you having to fuss with it AND it won't run when you swim, sweat, cry, etc. I also really appreciate that Yuriko followed the natural line of my eye (which I didn't even think was possible, given my flat Asian eyes), and her work brought out natural features that I did not even know were there!

I also have to comment that when I read the reviews on Yelp about how kind and gentle Yuriko is, I was not at all expecting who I met in person for the first time. Yuriko is ABSOLUTELY DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! She may perhaps be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, and what makes her over-the-top beautiful is that her personality and character are just as beautiful. She really takes care of you, has an extremely big heart to want to help people and she does everything she can to accommodate you. She does in fact end up working extremely long hours because she just wants to make everyone happy. She came in at 7:30am to do my eyeliner, and she had been at work until 11:30 the night before helping to give a woman eyelash extensions who had had her eyelashes fall out as a result of chemotherapy. This is how much compassion she has for people.

Yuriko also is very responsive to text msgs and encourages you to text her if you have any questions post-procedure. I was also surprised at how quickly she responds to text msgs. After all, she is always BOOKED with clients, so I wonder how on earth she has the time to respond. During my appointment, even though she may receive calls, her attention is always focused on me. She takes pride in her work and her primary goal is YOUR HAPPINESS and SATISFACTION.

One last thing... My friends who have gotten their lashes done by other people have told me that when they get out of the shower, they have to comb their lashes in the upward direction. Well, I never have had to do anything to keep my lashes looking perfect because Yuriko is THE BEST!

Thank you, Yuriko, for being a trustworthy friend and giving me new confidence and beauty.

I had been wanting permanent eyeliner for years, but onlu took the plunge after reading rave reviews about yuriko.
Consult - it is obvious that yuriko is a highly skilled professional and she is passionate about what she does. She clearly explained the process and discussed my options.
First appointment - yuriko drew on a sample line and made sure it was what i envisioned. Once the numbing cream takes effect, there is literally no discomfort throughout the procedure. She gives great instructions for post-treatment and provides all the necessities like ointment and cotton swabs.
Second appointment - yuriko splits the appointments to allow for healing, and to add pigmentation since you can lose quite a bit during the healing process.  This is totally normal. We decided to go with a more dramatic line, and the application was as smooth and painless as the first time.
It has been 4 short days since my second appointment and i am completely healed with minimal pigment loss. I cannot express how happy i am with yuriko's artistry. I would highly recommend yuriko to anyone considering permanent eyeliner!

Thank you so very much yuriko! Now i am thinking about doing my eyebrows!

I went to Lily for an eyeliner tattoo and she did an AMAZING job!  I elected to get top and bottom and I couldn't be happier.  I've been told I look like obake when I wake up, but not anymore!  Her tattoos manage to make me look made up, but natural at the same time.

Lily spends an extensive amount of time with you during the first session, exploring different options.  She is quite a perfectionist so she makes sure each side is even and optimizes the shape of your eyes.  Lily also requires a second appointment for filling and darkening.  She makes sure her customers are 100% satisfied with her work.

For those of you struggling with the idea of a tattoo, especially to your eyes, read on.

I am possibly the world's biggest weenie, so I've chickened out on many a tattoo before.  After reading Lily's past reviews, however, I felt a little more confident.  Lily uses a numbing cream which she generously slathers over your eyelid and she sets a timer, to make sure it amply sets in.  I'll admit, as soon as the tattoo gun started vibrating, my hands immediately started to sweat and I wanted to call the whole thing off, but I literally felt nothing.  The tattooing felt like a gentle sweeping of my eyelashes, but thats it.  Scouts honor.  I was so amazed.

I would recommend Lily to everyone I know.  P.S. Lily is gorgeous, she'll make you secretly pray, "please make me look like you!"

I just got my eyeliner done by Lily and just like everyone says...she's amazing. She is really nice and does a great job. I love the way it looks. I was contemplating permanent makeup for a long time and I was disappointed in myself for passing up various groupon deals but after thinking long and hard about it, I realized that scoring a deal on something permanent on your face isn't important at all. Although pricey for a student with just a part time job, Lily's work is worth every penny.  She is very talented at what she does.  If you are considering permanent makeup, you should definitely schedule and appointment with Lily.  And do it soon because she fills up very quickly!  I got eyeliner done on my top lids with a thin, natural line.  I also opted for the inner liner to enhance my lash line and make my eyes look bigger.  The first appointment was a little painful toward the end of the procedure, I think because the numbing cream began to ware off.  The second appointment however was completely painless.  Her work is perfectly symmetrical and she really takes her time to do a great job.  I would recommend Lily to everyone and I am definitely going to return to her for future touch up appointments.

I found Yuriko on Yelp after I was disappointed by my follow up session with Janet at Mimo Beauty. I'm so glad that I did!  My previous permanent tattoo lady, during the last touch up, had done such a bad job that my left eye brow was slightly higher than the other and the bottom right corner of my left eyeliner was a lot thicker than the left side.

Thank god I found Yuriko.  This chick knows her stuff.  She was trained in Japan and practiced there for many years before moving here to Hawaii.  She has such a loyal list of clients back in Japan that she returns twice a year for a few weeks and is so booked that she works every day while back sometimes for 12 hour days.  She also has a lot of clients here and is very booked. The last time I saw her in May it was about a month wait time to get an appointment but its worth it.  Permanent make up is what it is, permanent, and you might as well get it done right!

During my consult Yuriko really took the time to redraw the corrections and ensure that I was happy with them.  I also didn't like the coloring (it was turning almost a grey tone) that my last lady used and Yuriko was able to blend a color that was a lot richer and complimented my jet black hair.  It took two 3.5 hours sessions to complete over the span of 10 days.  If you are worried about the pain, the procedure that Yuriko utilizes during both processes is amazing.  You are so numbed out that you really don't feel anything.  She told me about a technique that can be utilized to make my eyes appear larger however that would mean tattooing the insides of my upper lid.  I was for it, but was apprehensive about that area b/c of the pain factor, but I honestly didn't feel anything, only a slight tickle of the buzzing from the tattoo needle.

I was very impressed that she was also able to thin the line out on my right-side by tattooing my natural skin color over it.  Her work turned out fabulous and I'm kicking myself for getting roped into that Groupon with Mimo Beauty which was just a waste of $189 and my time.  Cheaper isn't necessarily better, this is along term investment ladies, spend the extra money to make sure it looks good!  I was charged a total of around $1000.00 to completely redo my eye brows and top and bottom eyeliner.  Well worth it, I'm happy and I get loads of compliments from my friends and co-workers.  A few have already gone to see her and I'll probably return to get my lips done next before the end of the year.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Lily and her work. My review is for her tattoo work on my top eyeliner.

**Let me start from the beginning with why I wanted to get the this done in the first place. I've been wearing eye make up for 15 years, and no matter what brand I try, I would always have these grey smudges at the outer corners of my eyes from my eyeliner after about 1 hour of putting it on. It didn't matter the type of eyeliner, the color of eyeliner, the brand of eyeliner, or even the foundation and base, it would always smudge. Maybe I blink too hard or too much or something haha. I am not one to wear heavy eye makeup either. For some years now, I have been considering getting my eyeliner tattooed. I actually started off with my eyebrows tattooed three years ago in California (not with Lily) to hoping that it will work me up to the eyeliner. Although my eyebrow turned out well, I was still nervous about getting the eyeliner tattoo since it is on my eyelid!**

Fast forward to now - I am on a long work/mini vacation in Hawaii and figured that now would be the best time to look into the eyeliner tattoo since I've got plenty of time to heal. Then Lily Yuriko Satoh entered my life, totally by accident. Thanks to Yelp! After reading them all, I decided to make a decision based on the vibe I got from her on the phone. Lily was very easy to get a hold of, and my first impression of her was very positive. She was very warm on the phone, very thankful that I had called, and tried her best to fit me into her already full schedule.

I had my first session about 2 weeks ago. At this session, meeting Lily in person just validated my initial impression of her on the phone. She was very warm, and was willing to talk and answer my questions. She was so much more caring and patient than the artist who did my eyebrow tattoo in California. After committing to the procedure, I filled out usual paperwork and she went over the after-care instructions. She then spent the next 30 minutes talking about the eyeliner thickness and type, as well as drawing them on my lids. She offered two types, and I chose the type that made my eyes look rounder and lash line fuller. Even though this was the pricier once, I felt that it was worth it. The price I paid included 2 sessions. Lily then starts by cleaning and numbing my eyelids, which stung a bit initially but not bad. After the numbing took effect, she started the tattoo pen told me that she will take it slowly. She also said that I will feel the needle the worst in the beginning and not so much after a short time as the numbing agents get pushed deeper into my skin. She was absolutely right, I did feel at first but it wasn't so bad at all. Sure, it hurt but just a little, kind of like little ant bites - not as painful as I expected!

I've returned for the second session and everything has turned out great. My permanent eyeliner looks fantastic and very natural. I elected to not have a tail/end of the line in the event that my eyes sag with age. I plan on drawing the little sweep at the end myself when I go out, and to leave it as it it for everyday wear. I am so lucky to have met Lily, and am planning to get my eyebrows touched up with her while I am here. If her schedule and mine work out, then I will be posting again for my eyebrows :)

I will post pics after eyeliner has healed. I hope this review helps ;)

Yuriko is absolutely AMAZING and there is no place else I would rather go for lash extensions besides her. I have seen Yuriko 4 times now. My first visit was back in November 2012 and I've been hooked every since. A friend found her on Yelp and read really great reviews, so I took the leap of faith and went for it and I am so glad I did! Now that I have my lash extensions I don't feel the need to wear make-up every morning! My eyes look so bright and awake because of the lashes. Aside from the wonderful lashes, Yuriko herself is wonderful. From the very first visit she has made me feel so comfortable. She was very concerned about how I wanted my lashes to look from the style, length and curl. She gave her opinions on what style would be best for me. Yuriko recently went on maternity leave beginning of 2013 and I debated whether or not I should visit another salon for my lash extensions, but after reading such horrible reviews on other places I decided not to take the chance. I waited until Yuriko could see me again and just did without lashes. The cost can be high ($80-$150) depending on the style and amount of lashes used, but I feel it's completely worth it. My husband loved the way they looked and even encouraged me to continue with them despite the cost! I was shocked because he doesn't see the sense in manicures, pedicures and hair, but was completely for me getting lash extensions! And it's not that he didn't like me without them, but said it made me look "sexier"! I do like to use false lashes too, but they do become much of a hassle, and as an everyday look it's just too much.

The last thing I would like to mention if you are planning on getting extensions is the aftercare. Yes, your lifestyle of face washing will have to change! No more rubbing eyes, no mascara, no direct washing of the eyes. You CAN, but it will affect the length of time your extensions will last. However, from reading other reviews from different places the way the extensions are placed make a difference too. Yuriko takes the time to do an excellent job and my lashes have always lasted me a while. I went an entire month with my lashes looking good before I have to remove them after Yuriko went on maternity. It is recommended to refill lashes every 2-3 weeks. When I did my first session I didn't go too crazy with it so that I could test them out first. Then, as I got used to them I added more lashes and even went a little longer with length. I promise, if you are hesitant on getting lash extensions for the first time Lily Yuriko is the best and you will not regret it!

I LOVE LILY!  She is so talented at eyebrow and eyeliner tattoo!  And what's even more awesome about her is that she is so incredibly sweet and really cares about her clients and pinpoints exactly what kind of look they want.  During the consultation part of the session, she really took the time to ask me what I wanted my eyebrow and eyeliner to look like and  drew it in carefully before the procedure to make sure the shape is perfect and the look that I wanted to achieve.  After she finishes drawing make-up in, she puts some numbing medicine so that you can lay comfortably as she tattoos the shape in.  The needle felt more ticklish at first since she had put the numbing medicine on.  The medicine slowly wore off  after a while (I have tough skin so it took  a little longer), but the pain was nothing that couldn't be handled :).  Throughout the procedure, she made sure that I was comfortable, which really made me at ease and so relaxed throughout the whole thing.

I would definitely recommend doing a second session, as it is recommended, since everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to the ink.  In the case of permanent tattoos, perfection is achieved by slowly adding on to the natural line, and let me tell you, she is so right!  Like the other yelper said below, you can't just erase a harsh thick line.  After a couple days of peeling and  healing  (Don't be worried if your tattoo peels, as this is part of the healing process.  Do follow her aftercare tips well as it helps the healing to go very smoothly), my eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos came out so BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT!!! I'm so proud of the work she did...I never knew that permanent makeup could look NATURAL too...it enhances the features of my face, without me having  to put on loads of makeup.  I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to not have to spend hours in front of the mirror in the morning!  I wake up, add some mascara, and bam! I'm out out the door!  hehe.

And guess what?  She was almost due to have her baby when I came for both my procedures.  Talk about hard work ethic!  She puts 110% effort into caring for her customers as well as the work that she does!  Awesome job Lily!!!!!  I will definitely be coming back again.  Make sure you make an appointment early, as she is very popular :).

I've been wanting to do permanent eyeliner for such a long time now and since I've been seeing Lily for the most gorgeous eyelash extensions for about a year now I decided that there was no one better to go to than her!! Although, to say that I was nervous would be an understatement. I mean, this is a permanent procedure done with some super sharp machine right next to my EYEBALL for goodness sake! Lily, like always, made me feel so at ease as soon as I laid down. Her room is always extremely sterile and her professionalism really helped me to relax. My first appointment took about 2 hours. Most of that time was because I was so picky about how I wanted the eyeliner to look. She was very patient as I went back and forth deciding what thickness and wing angle looked best. When I finally decided and the numbing cream was applied, the actual procedure went by quicker than I imagined. During the tattoo it didn't hurt AT ALL. It was more of a ticklish, vibrating feeling. After the treatment when the numbing cream wore off, maybe about an hour or so later, I could feel the sensation but nothing that I couldn't handle. It was a little puffy and looked like I had been crying but the eyeliner looked AMAZING!!!! I went back for the recommended second treatment about 10 days later. FYI- scabbing & peeling is completely normal after getting a tattoo so don't freak out!! It took about 45mins and I could feel the second treatment a little more than the first but again, nothing I couldn't handle.

Overall, I was beyond happy with the results. Exactly what I wanted, just a natural line that won't look like I'm going to bed with a bunch of eyeliner on but perfect with my lashes and when I go out swimming. Keep in mind, that since this is PERMANENT, it's always best to start off with a natural line. You can always add more, but you can't just erase it if it's too thick. If you're thinking of doing this, don't hesitate!! Call her now!! She's very accommodating but if she says she's booked with a long wait, it's for a reason! Everyone wants to see her!! Trust me though, she's definitely worth it the wait!

** Update- I just saw her a few days ago and she looks like she is about ready to give birth literally any day now so I believe she will be on maternity leave until March.

Came here a week ago for eyelash extensions and I am so happy with the results.  At first we had decided on 75 lashes on each eye but I decided I wanted a little more because I prefer a fuller look so she did 90 on each eye and I'm very satisfied.  I also wanted longer lashes at the edges for a cute sexy look and that's exactly what I got.  Lily was also very accommodating and was able to fit me in for an appointment within a couple days of initially calling her.  She's also gentle during the procedure and does an excellent job securing the lashes.  It's been a week and I've barely lost any lashes!  I'll definitely be back for another appointment.

so I've been searching and searching for a my old eye lash extension lady for about a month now. & thank god ii found her... Lily Yuriko is her name.! let me tell you everyone on here that talks about her and post things up about her & about her job, is ABSOLUTELY right.... she is thee best out there. she took me in today 10/20/12 at 8:00a and she dont even open till 9a!& she was all booked for today and she squeeze me in... I so appreciate that, bcuz ii couldn't wait, her next available was November 7 & dere were no way ii wanted to wait.lol.

So my experience today was remarkable, she not only let me in at 8 she greeted me in the beginning of the stair well & she sat me down in her office and she began to ask me questions about what I was looking in lash's & what was right for me. I told her I wanted a natural but full look and she listened. & she requested what I would like in the ends of my lashes bcuz my end eye lash is weak.

Over all everyone needs to see yuriko. She is the bomb!!!!!!! I love her... My lashes came out perfect, and she took her time.. About 2 hours.. She was so soothing that I fell asleep! I was very relax!!! hehe :) I think I caught myself snoring at one point LOL.haha.

I have never posted on yelp...but felt I had to after meeting with Yuriko! She is AMAZING. I have been getting my eyelash extensions for the past 3 years. I recently moved to Honolulu from the mainland and found Yuriko....what a find! I thought I had it good...but it was nothing to what I have now with Yuriko. I have now gone to her a total of 4 times (about once every 4-5 weeks) and so I know she is LEGIT.

She takes serious care of her clients. When I went to her, my natural lashes were so weak that there was no way I could go without extensions....now, they are so healthy that I could easily stop getting extensions....but I just do not want to go without Yuriko's work.

Before Yuriko, my lashes had these horrible globs of glue at the baseline that I wore eyeliner to disguise the globs. Now I dont even wear eyeliner because I want to show off my lashes from base to tip. Also, because of Yuriko's amazing work, my natural lashes have had a chance to grow rather than being ripped off because they're stuck to the glue of other lashes.

Yuriko takes the time to explain the different lengths, styles, and hairs that you can choose. If you're like me, you kinda know what you want to look like but are not sure how to get it. She will know! Her level of skill and expertise is definitely hard to find. Her prices are SUPER reasonable....I mean, she's the best I've seen for a mere third of what the mainland is charging at the best salons. Not only is she extremely talented but she's also got a warm heart. It's definitely rare to find someone who is such a GOOD person with such skills!

Yuriko is truly amazing.  I had my second appointment for eyeliner tattoo (as it's a two-step process) with her two days ago and have had the most wonderful experience with her - she is very professional and meticulous with her work, and at the same time is so caring and kind toward her customers.

As others have said, Yuriko really takes the time to make sure she knows exactly what you want, and will give suggestions on the different options and on what would look best, before beginning the procedure.  During the procedure, she works meticulously and carefully to make sure that it turns out as you'd discussed.  While she was working on me, she stopped a couple of times and asked me to open my eyes so she could closely check her work, and she also asked me to look in the mirror and sincerely asked me what I thought and if there was anything I wanted her to adjust.  I'm very particular but at the end there wasn't anything that I would change at all!

You can tell that Yuriko is very talented, well-trained, and knowledgeable: even though English is not her first language, she knows her products and work so well that she can clearly explain the theory behind her technique and the differences between her technique and that of others.  It is obvious that she also truly cares about her clients: she always tries to fit us into her schedule even though she is working until very late at night - much later than I've ever heard of anyone else in this industry.  During the procedures she asked a number of times whether I was doing okay (which is particularly important during a procedure that has the potential to be very painful!), and after both my first appointment with her and this follow-up appointment, she stayed in contact with me often (even given her very busy schedule) to make sure that I was healing well.

With regard to the actual procedure, Yuriko applied a topical anesthetic to my eyelids so the tattoo felt at times like scratching and at times even like tickling!  When the anesthetic started to wear off it started to hurt a little bit but nothing to complain about.  Since Yuriko was asking me how I was doing, she knew that it was starting to hurt and was very sympathetic, and continued working quickly enough that it didn't hurt any more.  The rest of the day after the procedure, my eyelids just felt like they had been scratched a little.  By the next morning they didn't feel like anything out of the ordinary, but were swollen.  Today, two days later, it doesn't hurt at all and the swelling is almost completely gone!

Overall, I'd highly recommend Yuriko for any of the procedures she offers.  Although I've so far only had my eyeliner done by her, I'm sure she'd apply the same professionalism, talent, meticulousness, and caring to any job she does.  I plan to have my eyebrows and eyelashes done by her soon too...it's like having procedures done by a (super-talented!!) friend!

I finally got a chance to get my lashes done by Lily and all I can say is that she is amazing and one of the best i've been too! I've been getting my lashes done in seattle while away for school and have been trying to find someone who can really get my lashes to look the way I want and haven't been able to find anyone.  I was finally able to come home to hawaii for a few week and decided to try Lily out.  Lily did an outstanding job.  She listened to what i wanted and was able to get my lashes the fullest i've seen at the length and thickness I wanted.  Her work is so beautiful and has lasted longer and stayed fuller longer than any of the other lash artists i've seen.  As soon my lashes were done and i took a look in the mirror I was sad that I couldn't take Lily back with me to Seattle.  Lily's process is simple and so relaxing.  There is no poking or pulling or any kind of pain she is just simply fantastic.  It is sooo amazing how she was able to attach a lash to almost every single one of my natural lashes.  It instantly opened my eyes up.

While lashes are quite expensive, l Lily is very reasonably for the quality of work she does.  She also carries the best lashes in town because she gets her products from japan.  I can just feel the difference.  The main reason i love lash extensions is because they save me so much time.  Before getting lashes, I used to take at least an hour to get ready in the morning.  Now i can be out the door in 10 minutes.  There is almost no need for make up.

Anyone interested in getting lash extensions needs to see Lily.  Her work is so perfect and professional.  She gives you options depending on curl and length and style that you prefer.  I wanted something that looked dramatic, full, really curly and long so i went with 15's in D curl.  I can't stress enough how amazing of a job Lily does.  It's been a week already and barely any lashed have fallen out.  I've been to lash artists who's work barely even looked good after a week.  I love my lashes! I go running, hiking, and swimming in my lashes and they last sooo well.  Lily is the best in town at the best price!

I have been going to Yuriko for lash extensions since March.  I love her....she is by far the best eyelash extensionist.  She is a perfectionist and always makes sure everything is perfect before you leave.  I have been to Suki, Terra, Beautiful Soul, and a few others and  and no one can compare.  She has such a unique way of applying the lashes that allows them last a lot longer than others i've had in the past.  I usually go back for refills every 2-3 weeks because I always want them to always look full and perfect.  Her prices are very reasonable considering the quality of work she delivers.  I would definitly recommend Yuriko if you want the best!

This review is for permanent eye liner.  I have been checking out the work of other places offering permanent eye liner or permanent make-up, including the school teaching this technique...after all it is something permanent that I won't be able to hide.  I usually don't post on yelp, but felt so strongly about the work that was done for me.  I have to say that Lily does phenomenal work and is very detailed about her work.  I am a very particular person and she was very patient in drawing out different styles on eye lids so that I could compare and contrast,,,I must of have changed my mind at least a 6 times.
The procedure was not too bad in terms of pain and Lily was very good to ensure I wasn't in pain.  She continued to check with me if the look was right and was able to adjust as I changed my mind :0  I was so happy with the work and had minimal swelling for several days but no real pain.  After 10 days, I went back for the second round because not all could be done in the first round because I had some thicker liner put in and it would have been too much for one session.  She explained the procedure and post care very well and her tools and room are friendly and clean/sterile.  She uses high quality ink that won't turn blue in a year like I've seen on other folks.
So it is about 2.5 months post work and I love it.. Though my eye liner is a little more dramatic than not, it just naturally enhances my eyes and face.  All my friends say that I look younger and brighter but can't place what is different about me....can't argues with that!! Of course I have to tell them about Lily.  I can't recommend her enough.  Prices are reasonable, you definitely get more than you pay for.  See my posted pics

I absolutely love Yuriko!! She's so talented, quick and skilled! She's a true professional. I've traveled all over the world and have met my share of eyelash extention-ists and trust me she's the real deal!  Plus her prices are so affordable. In my opinion she should charge more but she knows her work speaks for itself which is why I keep coming back for more! She's truly amazing...I can't say enough about her! She will be your lash extentionist for years to come!

Lily is the Best!!!  I first went to Lily for eyelash extensions.  I had heard she was the best in town.  Her eyelashes are comfortable, natural, and grow with your own eyelashes without the tangles and globs of glue of inexperienced technicians. I've had my lashes done before by others that looked okay when you left, but in a few days, they start to pull, itch and crisscross each other---It will really irritate your eyes.

She is very reasonable.  She runs from about $85-$100, depending on how full you want them.  Other experienced pros in town can charge you $300+ for the same job.
When I first got there, Lily took about 20 minutes going over every detail to find out exactly how I wanted my lashes.  She takes her time to educate you.  She spent about another 2 hours, meticulously installing each one.

When I found out that she does permanent eyeliner too, I asked her if she could fix the old faded eyeliner I had gotten 6 years ago.  She not only fixed it but made it look so much more natural and beautiful.  She took 3 different sessions, little by little, to get the exact look that I wanted.  She even fixed the old blueish color from my old permanent eyeliner.  She is amazing!  I highly recommend her!  Not only because her prices are so reasonable, but because she is a true artist.  She really takes her time to make sure she gets it done exactly the way you want it.  I am so happy I found her!

I was introduced to Yuriko by a friend which is always better especially since I was a first timer for eye lash extensions. My first time seeing Yuriko, she took time to discuss what I wanted and what my options were, and because it was my first time, we went with the more conservative natural look. I was happy with them, but she told me that if within 1 week I decide I want a fuller look, to come back and she will add on more and I will just pay the difference, which I decided to take her up and it was a very reasonable price. I've been going to her now for almost 2 months now and absolutely love her! She is super sweet, great personality, but most importantly really meticulous and awesome at what she does. She really takes her time and applies each lash one by one. Sometimes, I fall asleep because she is very gentle and makes you feel comfortable. I have received a lot of compliments on my lashes and many people think they are my natural lashes.  They really make such a big difference, I wear less make up and getting ready takes way less time. I even feel okay going out with no make up now.  I totally recommend her and know you'll be hooked once you get your Summer Eyes!!

Summer Eyes...Samurai. This cleverly named business is an example of what in linguistics is called a "false friend," an informal term for pairs of words in two languages that look and/or sound the same but have different meanings. Luckily for us, "Lily" Yuriko Satoh is a TRUE friend to those seeking a beauty boost!

I came to Yuriko to repair some horrible looking eyelash extensions and have never looked back. Super, super glad to have found her! Owner/technician Yuriko (Lily to those who can't pronounce her Japanese name) offers eyelash extensions and microtattooing (permanent makeup) for eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner, and beauty marks.

She spends a lot of time educating her clients and triple checking to make absolutely certain that you not only understand what you're getting but that you're happy with the result. She is incredibly conscientious, and that means it takes TIME to get work done here. That time is well spent, believe me!

Yuriko is not only very good at what she does, she also has a good heart. Her professional yet kind demeanor instantly puts you at ease during procedures that might otherwise be nerve-racking. Incredibly, her prices are very affordable.

Yuriko's salon is a room located inside the beautiful Reneux Med & Day Spa. (There is no formal/business affiliation between the two.) Reneux is located on the second floor of the "Nalu Lani" Building at Kamake'e and Queen Sts. There is a fee for the attached, on-site parking that is NOT validated, or you can park at Ward Centers for free and walk over. She works by appointment and is extremely flexible to accommodate your schedule. If you want fantastic looking eyelash extensions or permanent makeup, Yuriko is your go-to girl. Love her!

I sat with my sister as she was having her eyelash extension done (she also does a great job on that).  After it was done Lily asked if I wanted something like this but declined; however, she suggested I can do an eye tattoo to make my eyes appear larger.   She took time to draw a temporary line on my inner upper eyelids below the eyelash and low & behold my eyes looked larger!

I made the appointment and she did a wonderful job.  She is thorough, clean, considerate and patient.  She uses an ointment to numb the eyelid, though it is not totally numb I felt a tingly, kind of scratchy feeling during the procedure.  Lily makes sure you are alright before you leave, calls that night to see how you are doing and in about 2 weeks you return for the touch up.  Her prices were reasonable as compared to others I have seen and she does a better job.  She mixes the color to match your coloring.

I love Lily! She is very beautiful inside and out, very friendly, and very professional. She truly cares for the health of your lashes, she takes her time one lash at a time. I was on a month long trip and needed emergency refill while in Cali, it was awful sloppy work, I was embarrassed. Lily fixed everything when i got back, taking care of my delicate lashes the last person ruined with tons of glue. She makes me feel like a valued client. The price is also very reasonable for the amount of time and care. Keep up the good work Lily!

Yuriko did an amazing job with my eyeliner tattoo.  The results are better than I could have imagined.  The look is subtle, natural, and clean.  I'm so grateful to have had the procedure done by her.

First, she is flexible and booked my appointment on the same day as I requested.  Second, her room and tools are completely clean & sterile.  She took time to show me the proceess, materials, and needles to put my mind at ease.  She explained the pre/post treatment care before we began so I was fully aware of the after care and potential risks.  Her professionalism and customer service is amazing.

During the procedure she applied topical numbing cream and explaind in detail every step that was being taken.  I felt little to no pain during the whole thing.  She finished in less than  an hour and followed up with me by text that same night to see how I was after the numbing cream wore off.  I had very minor swelling that night but the next morning I was shocked and pleased to see that there was NO swelling or redness! I went to work bright and early.  In less than a week my tattoo had healed perfectly.

Yuriko really made the process so easy and simple.  Her flexibility make her great for people who are busy, her customer service is excellent, and her work is beyond compare.  She is an amazing artist and I would def recommend her to anyone!

I absolutely love Lily! I went to another eyelash extension place and paid $30 dollars...now i know what they mean by you get what you pay for!... I finally went to Lily as my friend had referred her to me.  When i got to the office I let her know that i needed to remove my ugly lashes and put new ones.  The session was awesome...i think i slept through most of it.  she is very gentle.  I had no discomfort at all.  I got a more natural looking extensions but it looked really full like i was going out which was awesome.  i didnt go back and see her for exactly 6 weeks! I am a loyal customer to my girl! shes the best....The review below is a little weird that you would be upset with the length and it was too long....isnt the point to get an extension? hmm...

Darkness.  Sweat in my clenched palms.  Buzzing in my ear.  It all sounded a little too familiar.  Another tattoo, sigh.

Little did I know this micro pigmentation session would be nothing like my other inked experiences.   Yuriko made my first eyeliner session as pleasant as possible.

The service I opted for today was the permanent eyeliner for my top lid.  Yuriko did a consultation prior to my appointment to assure that the procedure would be achieved with the best results.  When I arrived at Reneux Med and Day Spa, she greeted me in the lobby with an ear-to-ear smile.  We went over the usual contracts and post care instructions.  Before prepping anything, she talked me through the entire process.  She then sketched the liner on my lids and assured me that the tattoo would look the same as her sketch.

Now we are brought back to my sweaty palms.  Yuriko has numbed my eyelids with a topical ointment.  I was so nervous.   I then felt vibration on my lid.  "That's it?" I asked myself.  It couldn't be.  My hands clenched even tighter.  She announced that she was done with one eye.  Absolutely pain free.  The rest of the session continued with the same vibration.  I had nothing to worry about.  Everything was smooth sailing.

I should have known I would be in the hands of a professional who would make sure my experience was pleasant and I would leave happy.  I had no other evidence to think otherwise.  She provided me with the best eyelash extension service I've ever had.  Keep in mind I've been to over five different places.  Her prices are the most reasonable.  Some stay loyal to their lash gal, some say it's worth the $350 price.  I say go to Yuriko for the best lash extension application.  You walk away with a positive experience and the lashes you asked for...and they last!

My overall experience:  professional, informative, comforting, quality.

Thank you Yuriko for providing me with great quality with my lashes and a great first for cosmetic tattooing!

I've gotten lashes 5 other times at 2 other places and NEVER had a problem with the length. She actually made them too long!!!  I felt comforted when she offered to fix it within a week if I was unhappy with it.
The lashes look like i bought them at Longs and glued them on myself!!
Well, 4 days later I gathered the courage to take her up on the offer, she said that I had agreed on the length, we would need to redo the whole session and although she has "one week insurance" a person loses alot of hair in that time, basically I could come in and we could talk about it.... Where was the customer satisfaction she was promising 4 days earlier?
    This was an awful experience.
