Talis Fortuna

I needed some tattoo magick yesterday and a good old friend of mine and I were in Santa Fe for the day. I felt a good vibe about this place, and it just so happened to be the day they take walk-ins on the weekend.

I described what I wanted (a large piece on the back of my leg with some specific requests), and Crow asked us to come back in 30 mins. We did, and the design was beyond perfect. She set everything up in the cozy studio quickly and also did a small symbol on my finger to add to the collection. It was great, easy and comfortable.

I loved the vibe from Crow, I really feel like I found a terrific artist in the Southwest who I would love to go back to (and soon!).

Oh--but be warned the address is not where Yelp says it is. It's off a sidestreet in the railroad district. Double check the location!

Living in Los Angeles, I have plenty of incredible tattoo shop options... But nobody compares to the skills and energy of crow.... Almost every time I come to Santa Fe, part of my tradition is seeing Crow of Talis Fortuna... Unique Talent with irresistible swagger. The new shop is SO charming ... I recommend them to anyone looking for the real deal...
