Talisman Tattoo & Body Piercing

I wanted a new tattoo and had received a sub par one from a different shop, so I went in to Talisman to look at their set up. Nikki's portfolio showed strong lines so I decided to go for it. BEST TATTOOS I've gotten. Strong lines, clean colors and great interpretation of the art I brought.
For Christmas I'm getting my husband a cover up!

Great experience at Talisman! I got tattooed by Sam Castro, being my FIRST TATTOO I was nervous. But Sam was super friendly and set up an appointment for me a week in advance. The day of my appointment I was the first appointment in the shop so she took the time to explain the whole process and got the placement of the tattoo just right. Very sterile and sanitary as well (she uses a one use only needle). My tattoo took 5mins and she did it perfectly! I love my tattoo and the price was reasonable! Also, they sell 100% organic tattoo salve, which put my mind at ease that I was putting good stuff onto my skin. Don't waste your time going to the other well known place in town, Talisman is where its at!

First off, I can't speak to their tattoo work.  I just got my ears pierced here, like first holes, cause I'm a fifth grader.  I've spent my fair share of time in tattoo shops/getting tattoos, and this seemed pretty nice.  Everyone was friendly, everything seemed clean and professional.  They have a huge, really nice (a little pricey) jewelry selection.  Some of the larger gauge size pieces were really beautiful.

Anyways, Phil did my piercing and it was awesome.  I'm a little bit of a freak about piercing sanitation specifically and he walked me through the whole thing.  This wasn't a Claire's, scary plastic gun situation.  Everything is autoclaved, all needles are new, he went over what he was doing and using multiple times.  On top of that, he was really friendly and funny.  I would suggest going here even for basic stuff.
