Tattoo Circus provides a quality alternative to Miami Ink and is located in same block on Washington. The shop manager was more creative, listened to our ideas and quoted half the price for better work than Miami Ink. I went in with a friend and we asked them to create a custom design for each of us, which they did. Combined, our two tattoos took 12 hours to create and apply, at a total cost of $1,200... $700 for mine and $500 for hers. The art was highly detailed and well colored, outlined and shaded. Very happy with the results so far. Bring cash if you can as the shop charges a 10% additional fee for amounts paid by credit card.
Review Source:Had some down time in sobe and wanted to extend a 3/4 sleeve all the way,,but didn't have any clear idea what I wanted...only small elements. Walked in to circus, and met Nick. He's been slinging ink for 16 years and immediately threw out some ideas using my desired elements, that I loved. He was open to my creative ideas and also used his own good judgement when creating the concept. He was very accomodating of my time schedule which we had to stretch out over two sessions. Â And the hard part was that he had to make his ink match the work of previous artists so it would all blend together well. And he did it perfectly. Â I now have my full sleeve, that looks like a single piece, and with elements that are completely in context with the entire tattoo. Trust Nick. He is the tattoo-whisperer. With the talent and skills to back it up. And the music is good too.
