I was visiting Miami this past memorial day weekend and my friends and I were just looking around when we found Salvation. We went in inquired about some tattoo and piercing prices, talk to the guy at the front was super cool and helpful. The shop also had a fantastic ambiance. We left and looked at a few more tattoo shops on the street but I already knew I was getting my next tattoo at Salvation. A couple of days later I did just that. My friend and I both got tattoos done and we spent a few hours in there just talking to the staff. Everyone there was amazing! They were really friendly and insightful. Next time I'm in Miami I will definitely stop by. Thanks for the great service guys!

I came here on a recommendation from a friend, who has really fantastic tattoos. I'm Chinese and I wanted my family name on my shoulder in simple black. All I had was a simple computer font version of my name, and the artist actually found a more stylized version of my name online, so after verifying that it was truly my name, I went with that. The place was very clean, which was my biggest concern as this was my first tattoo.

Also, the receptionist was very friendly, talking about her tattoos and about getting your first one. She tried to sell me their tattoo care products using pseudo-science, but I declined. The artist was pretty surly, but I want a professional to permanently mark my body not a new drinking buddy.

After 3 weeks now, I'm very happy with the results, the tattoo is clear and bright.

I do have to add they initially quoted me $200, but after telling them pirate tattoo next door was charging $100, they quickly accepted, so bargain with them!

I came in here to buy a retainer for my tongue ring. The girl at the counter was extremely nice and helpful but I paid $15 for a piece of plastic that I was expecting her to give me for free or $1 tops (They didn't have the right jewelry, I was desperate so bought a lip retainer.)  I was shocked when she said $15. In any other store not on South Beach, it would have been free. I honestly have no idea about the artists or piercings here, but from that one experience I know I am never going there again and it's an over priced, tourist trap rip-off.
