i am writing this review 100% on my experience. I've had to go back to Jessica the  tattoo artist  a second time and although the customer service was a little more than okay i am really unhappy and disappointed in the end result. i am already looking into a cover up for this cover up . I would not and will not recommend this tattoo artist to anyone i know. Although she was very understanding and helpful working with me on price I definitely feel i over paid. I truly feel my tattoo is worse that it was when i went in to get fixed up. My opinion is look elsewhere if u want an excellent tattoo after all it is permanent

I am reviewing Tootsie's Tattoo Parlor at 405 Grand Ave in South San Francisco because given that tattoos are permanent, people need all the information they can get before making a decision on a tattoo artist. In my opinion, if you are looking for a tattoo artist, please look elsewhere. The tattoo artist, and owner, of this shop is a mediocre at best tattooist. Her line work is inconsistent and spotty. Her shading looks as if a young child was given a magic marker and told to color the drawing in. She has no concept of 3-dimensionality. In short, her artwork is just plain bad. In addition, she is painfully slow. I don't know if this slowness is the result of her lack of experience and skill, or if it is an attempt to leech more money out of her clients, but either way, it is unacceptable. Furthermore, the quality and cleanliness of her shop and tools has been called into question. Several people, that I have spoken to, personally, who have gone to her for a tattoo have experienced infection, hives, etc. after their session.
    *****IMPORTANT INFORMATION*****
After I reviewed this business the first time someone, I can only assume the shops owner, changed the business information to a completely different tattoo shop in a different city. I'm sorry to The Tat Stop Shop, this review was not meant for you. This review is for Tootsie's Tattoo Parlor on Grand in South San Francisco. I guess my review rang a little too true for the owner to leave it be. Let this be a further warning. Whoever messed with this knows that the work in this shop cannot disprove what I've said in my review.
