Yogitha is a Mehndi artist and professional to the "Nth degree." Fantastic response-time via phone and email. She has a very warm, welcoming "bed side" manner. I'm too thrilled at the results---absolutely artful! I also appreciate how she coached me on how to make the design last as long as possible. Thank you, Yogitha! You're a beautiful spirit and it was an honor to be hennaed by you!
Yogi did a fabulous job at our Family Reunion recently. Â She is very professional, courteous, punctual and creative. Â Her designs are beautiful and she was the hit of the party. Â Her children's designs are great as well and she is very reasonably priced.
I will definitely use her services again.
We had Yogi come for a bridal shower one week ago. Â She was on time, was able to make each item of henna art unique and personalized, and charmed all shower guests. Â I was pleased she returned my emails and phone calls promptly and professionally. Â
I don't know about price comparisons because I chose her strictly by Yelp's positive reviews. but I felt she was reasonably priced for two hours of work.
We all agreed she was great and we would enjoy her services at future family events.
Yogitha was so sweet from the moment I contacted her to do henna for my baby shower. She responded to my query for quote and availability within 24 hours and recommended different types of henna (like glitter if we had young children) and the hours we would require to meet the amount of girls I had (she even accommodated my time limit by saying we could just do smaller designs).
She showed up to my shower early, got started on my belly and hands and she was the sweetest lady. In about an hour, my belly was decorated and so were my hands, all freehand.. with such detail!

She did other designs quickly and professionally with all the girls there that wanted one. Her designs were truly unique and each girl had a different design.

I would highly recommend Yogitha. She's sweet, accommodating and her designs are amazing. Two days later and my designs are super dark. The henna smelled like eucalyptus and lemon, so not too strong, and was a bit cooling on the skin (which was nice 'cuz I ran hot during the shower). Definitely a unique party favor that all your guests at any age, can enjoy!
I hired Yogita to be our henna artist at a celebratory event at Bombay Garden in Fremont. She worked straight through for 3 solid hours, and all the designs were beautiful. My guests were very happy with Yogita's work, which was a mix of glitter henna and regular henna. Thank you Yogita!!
Review Source:So my best friend and I love henna tattoos and the only places we've ever gotten them were places like the fair or an amusement park and so we decided to look up local places that do henna(mind you my friend and I live in San Leandro and we drove all the way to Fremont for henna tattoos lol) however when we got there we were greated with a hug and a welcome to Yogis and then we started looking through her books. I found a beautiful floral design that she custom made n then customized it even more because once she put the original design on my upper back she said that it didn't look complete and she asked me if she can add more and of course I was all for it and the end result was the best henna I ever had! It's been a week and a half and it's still as dark as it was on day 2! :D to say the least I think my friend and I may stop by Yogi's every 2-3 weeks! :D thank you again Yogita!!!!

Review Source:I reached out to Yogita to do henna for our dear niece's 16th birthday party. It was very last minute, but after having explained the situation and how truly special this Sweet 16 Birthday was, she was extremely gracious and agreed to do the party (even after having worked another party 50 miles away)! Before she could even set up, she had a line of at least 15 and her line was steady for the entire evening. Her artwork in the 4th hour was just as beautiful and intricate as those done in the 1st.
Yogita was part of an extraordinary event and I'm so happy she was able to lend her talent and share her time. I would call her again in a heartbeat!
I hired Yogi to do henna at a baby shower I hosted for friends this past weekend and she was great! All of our guests really appreciated her handiwork, and I couldn't believe how quickly (yet meticulously) she worked! At least 20 people got henna and/or glitter done in 2hrs. including the mom to be! Also, she was very reasonably priced, especially compared to other quotes I received.
It was a pleasure working with Yogi and I would definitely recommend her!
