BEST place to get inked in the Portland-Metro area! Â I've been getting tattoo's since 1990, and have come across some of the best in the biz, but my hats off to Michael Facchini. Â
His approach pre-ink is like going in for brain surgery, and talk about a soft hand. Â He tattooed most of my right calf, and I hardly knew he was working on me.
Clarity and definition is unreal, and my expectations were overwhelmingly exceeded, given the intricacy of what I was having done. Â A+++ to Mike.
I'm about due for some new ink...guess it's time to call Mike for an appointment!
Went in for a tattoo of my dog after he passed with just a very basic sketch and idea. Â Mark took it and turned it in to something amazing that I will cherish forever. Â The people working there are very professional, the place is very clean, and they did an amazing job for a great price. Â Will be back, and they will be recommendation to anyone else looking for a tattoo.
Review Source:I'm bumping it up to five for the service I've gotten at both BH locales. I haven't had anything recently to pierce but their jewelry and polite service even when they are busy kills me. In a good way. Too many tattoo/body shops ignore those who aren't getting ink or pierced - and damn if that ain't annoying. Here? No. They want your business.
And I believe I told the story on another review, but I've had my lip pierced twice before I had BH do it for the last time. The piercer saw the prior areas & said "I can just stretch that" and put a larger gauge in there. That's right - he gave up a piercing charge for a $5 stretch piece (they upgrade gauges for free, sans the jewelry). Â Wow. Clearly not about just the $$ but the right treatment on the customer & their body.
A++++++++++ if simply for their true, simplistic honesty.
p.s. dear one star - no tattoo shop will guarantee finger or foot tattoos. Nope. I have two foot tattoos and getting them was a debacle because they are more apt to fade and look like crap. Giving a one star for that shows that you...didn't do research. Feel free to peace OUT. Them turning you away means they care about their overall PRODUCT, Â not $$$.
