Mony is the mother effing man! Period!
I can not say enough good things about this shop & the people (that I've met) that work there, including the owner.
They are professional, TALENTED artists that really stand apart from the crowd!
Mony's artwork is featured in the windows and is for sale, btw!
I chose him after looking through the books & seeing a portfolio the spoke to me. It was Mony's.
It was important to me to have a feminine tat with rich, vibrant colors that really stood out & popped. I went in with a watercolor that I sketched up & gave it to him after I decided on an artist.
He did the adaptation the same day. He far surpassed my expectations! He made my watercolor an absolutely breathtaking tattoo! It is truly a work of art. Not a day goes by that people don't compliment it.
I find that they charge what is typical of a great tattooist, roughly $100/hr. If you're paying less than this, expect to have a less than this tattoo (unless you're "in"). Sorry, but good pieces don't come cheap & cheap pieces aren't good.
If you can't afford to get tattooed, don't. Simple as that.
They are very particular about what & where they tat. They will not do a tat that will look crappy b/c of the placement or size or what have you.
I found Mony to be extremely personable, funny & professional. He's a very interesting person & I was stunned at his complete sincerity in making sure I was okay during my seven+ hour session.
I always bring blankets with me when I get tatt'd bc I get cold easily. No one in the shop ever made me feel out of place. I found them all to be funny & artist minded.
Just so you know, if you pay by credit card there is an extra $30-$50 charge so make sure you prepare for this in advance and pay cash. ;)
It's a great shop. Every time I called to inquire about whatever the girls on the phones were always so happy to assist me & even went above & beyond to get me the info I needed.
I'm excited to get another tattoo soon. Finding a shop that fits is definitely not an easy thing. I've had more bad experiences with a-hole artists than I care to mention. So when I found this gem of a shop, I knew I'd found something special!
If you're looking for unique art, talented & professional artists, a clean & sanitary shop with a relaxed & artistic ambiance, this is the place for you. & if you hate the music, just ask them to change it. LOL! Simple as that.
Check out Mony's work. He's amazing & I will forever recommend him!!! :)

Bobby T. is the best artist on the city. I have gone to him for years and he is the most talented artist I have ever met. I will not let anyone else tattoo me except him.

Personally, I would not go back here. I only got as far as the front desk area and I was not feeling welcome. I had brought an idea with me that was too small. Instead of telling me what I could do with it, they only told me what I couldn't.
All in all, not a good experience.

Bill Funk is an amazing artist and he made my experience there extremely enjoyable. He completed the top half of the outline for my sleeve and so far it looks fantastic. Unlike the review below, the music played was good (mixture of good classic rock with some newer alternative stuff). In dealing with any of the shops (NoKaOi, Port-Side, Body Graphics) I have always had an amazing experience. My girlfriend had work done by Anna Paige at NoKaOi and Anna was very instrumental in me getting work done by Bill. Only good things to say about these shops.

I arrived here on a Saturday morning with my friend who wanted some serious ink. When we walked in I noticed that the place was clean and quiet. An artist named Carlos gave us a reasonable price and drew up the work for us. He was quick and talented and 2 hours of work later my friend had a full grayscale shin completed. Unlike other tattoo parlors, they have a public bathroom. They also have some horrid music playing. Seriously. If I never hear another song about blowing up wives, slinging hard drugs, and shooting random people again it will be too soon. Also, their manager of sorts was not very friendly to the other customers and did not explain much of his store's processes to the newbies. I truly took off a star and a half just for the music, it was that bad. Otherwise both price and talent were just was I was looking for. Go on in, just bring some earplugs.
