If you know crystals, or are ready to experience their energy, this place is kind of a must-see for newbies, experienced collectors and energy healers.  Personally, Braindrops has the best selection and variety of specimens I've seen in this kind of space for personal use, gifts, or to use or display in any healing environment.  Their prices vary, too, so you'll probably find something satisfying for your budget OR you'll just  feel happy knowing you got an honest price if you decided to splurge on something that was gently screaming your name that you weren't going to find anywhere else.

All of the "friends" are displayed in well-lit, glass cases as part of a space that has an organic look and feel to it.  If you are experienced, you should count on making a new discovery (like the Ventifacto basalt piece from the Andes I picked up on my last visit).

These are some very happy crystals.  A quick look around will reveal Buddhist statues that ground and keep the space clear, as well as some really outstanding crystals, silent reminders of what tools Mother Earth gifted us, which is why they deserve our respect.  You can feel it in Erin and David's energy too.  They're informative and let you enjoy the space and make your own connections.

You'll know it if you notice a rise in your own mood and energy after walking out of this extraordinary store in the Haight.
