(this was done a year ago in 2012) I originally wanted to go to timeless tattoo but they are extremely pricey so I decided to go to East Atlanta tattoo. I went in on thursday because I wanted something...ehhh...edgy. So I scheduled an appt with Amy, shot her some ideas abt a cover up/ semi-quarter sleeve/ floral tat, so she emailed me an idea and I liked it. I went in and she showed me an outline/blueprint and we conversed abt different ideas and she was ready to tat me.
THE PROBLEM though, is that what I CHOSE turned out not looking right, well one of the flowers. Make sure you are very detailed about what you want so that you don't end up paying more getting it done over by a more experienced artist. Overall, I will not be going back. I picked someone much more seasoned in tattooing!!
Im in town visiting some family so me and my cousins decided this would be a great time to get some ink done especially how I have been going on and on about it for a while now. Â We chose East Atlanta Tattoo based on yelp reviews..simply put they had more stars.
It was going to be my first Tattoo and it was going to happen on THAT day no looking back so I strolled up to the counter and spoke to Matt showed him my design and he got right to work on my stencil. He made minor suggestions all with my best interests in mind.
The shop is very nice, clean and filled with inspiration. The workstations were very clean. You know I had to pay attention to details ;0p..They get bonus points for having a leopard print rug. I knew i was at the right place. Matt  (who was a cutie) was very kind and efficient. Both him and the other artist were cracking jokes the whole time and made the experience very pleasant even though there was a needle involved.
There was minimal pain but over all I can say that I had a great first tattoo experience and I may have to pay them a visit the next time I am in town.
