I've gotten almost all of my tattoos from Juan Carlos. He's very good. He's helpful, creative, innovative and passionate about his work. He will not put anything on your body if he thought it would be anything less than brilliant. Juan Carlos  took his time with me and was very patient. He listened to my needs and drew a custom piece for me. He was very clean and very professional.
I am so glad that I was lucky enough to find an artist that i can stick with for all of my work.
To kick off my Memorial day weekend, I decided to treat myself to a new tattoo. I also wanted to try somewhere I hadn't been before. I've made it somewhat of a personal quest to get tattooed at all the (good) shops in Atlanta. A college friend of mine had been to Holy Mother several years ago, so I figured why not?
I was expecting to wait and was pleasantly surprised to find that no one was busy. The shop girl was perky and helpful. I wasn't looking for anything complex, which expedited the process. I decided on a bow on the top of my right wrist. Jett got it drawn up in about two minutes and set up while I filled out my paperwork.
He was friendly, easy to talk to, and quick. From start to finish, the tattoo only took about 20 minutes. It's bright, summery, and cute. After I was done I chatted with two of the other artists who were equally personable. Since I'm into checklists lately...
Friendly staff: Check
Reasonable prices: Check
Private tattooing areas: No check
Parking: It's Little 5, who are you kidding?
Verdict: I'll be back, probably for another Creamsicle bow.
