Hands down best piercing shop I've been to.

For the past few months I've been looking for a ring to replace my nose stud. I like the fitted look better, but four different places could not find a ring that would fit snugly. These places also had a policy that if you tried anything on you had to buy it. This wasn't the case at Infinite!

The shop is located in a really cute part of South Street District and is really clean. You won't need to worry about feeling intimidated at all! I got to talk to someone at the front counter right away. I did have to wait a little under ten minutes because there were a few other people getting pierced before me, but there's a seating area with water available.

I got my nose ring put in by Kellen who had a few rings ready, but found the perfect size first try. I did have to stretch from 20 gauge to 18 gauge because apparently 20 gauge is popular on the West Coast where I'm originally from and 18 gauge is popular on the East Coast. I've had my piercing for 2 years so stretching 0.3 mm isn't a problem. I did have a lot of questions though, and Kellen was super helpful in providing me with all the information I was looking for. He was very gentle through the whole process and fun to talk to. The ring and insert cost $15.12.

So happy to have found a place with a wide selection of jewelry and amazing service!

This is my first time dealing with an actual piercing studio, and I have to say, Infinite is amazing. Super professional but not stuck-up and more sterile than the place I went to as a kid to get my ears pierced. Great selection of jewelry. They really know their stuff.

I was able to just walk in and walk out, no appointment. Walked up to the counter and started talking with someone pretty much as soon as I got there. Got pierced by Jay and he was really wonderful. Explained every step of the process as he went and the actual piercings were almost painless.

All in all, I'd really recommend this place just because it's so clean. It's not intimidating at all.

Went here to get my tragus piercing changed. The lady at the front was very patient with me since it took me a while to decide on what I wanted. The lady who actually changed my piercing was very kind as well. I think her name was Karli. She also pierced my sisters ears above her rook. Very patient and explained what she was going to do before she did it and answered any questions we had. The people at the front were nice but it was a Tuesday so probably less people for them to deal with.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but they did not want to pierce me because where I had been pierced rejected already but also, that I did not have to correct shape. Since I had gotten it done before (unprofessionally), I loved it! Until it rejected. I believe that I did not take care of it (because I wasn't given proper instructions nor did I look up how to). So I decided to go somewhere professional to have it done, and a friend told me about infinite.

They staff is very welcoming and helpful, until they told me they did not want to pierce me. I sat in the store for about 20 minutes, talking to my boyfriend, thinking about whether I should do it or not. The piercer told me I shouldn't get it done because it would just reject again because I did not have the correct shape for it to heal and I would be wasting my money.

I really wanted to get it done though, and I didn't care if I was paying for it. At least if it does rejects, I got it done professionally and I knew how to clean it and everything and its just not for me. They wrote up something for me to sign, acknowledging that what I am doing is wrong and they have nothing to do with what happens. I signed it.

The environment is very clean, and the piercer, although objecting to my decision, kept very professional. Its been a 3 months now, and I have been taking care of it and I am happy to say that it is healing VERY WELL. I love it so much, and I am very happy that I went through with it. I will be back to get more piercings and to tell them in their face that my piercing is healing!

I came here after a terrible experience at DC Ink. I needed a new nose stud, and the staff at DC Ink treated me with complete disrespect, upsold me, and generally made me never want to go back.

Fortunately, the staff at Infinite are FANTASTIC. I found this place on Yelp (thanks again, Yelp!), and was able to talk to someone almost immediately after I arrived. I explained that I just needed a new nose stud, and that I'd prefer to have it fitted to my piercing, which is customary.

The woman at the front desk knew exactly what I was talking about, and asked if I didn't mind waiting a few minutes because they had three people ahead of me.

There are some benches to chill on, as well as some beautiful display cases filled with some of the most unique, inspired body jewelry I have ever seen.

When they were ready for me, I was called into a back room, and the guy explained the different jewelry options, and showed me a new kind of stud they had in stock.

He was extremely professional and courteous, making sure I didn't touch my nose or the stud, and even let me try a couple that I didn't end up liking before I found the right one.

I can't wait to actually get pierced here. These guys (and gals) are great!

I have been pierced at Infinite, by the world-renowned Elayne Angel, who also authored The Piercing Bible, which, by the way, is a very user-friendly guide to how to choose a clean and safe piercing shop and how to trouble shoot and how to decipher appropriate piercings for ones' body shape and parts.

The selection of jewelry at Infinite is very good, and they can even place a special order if you see something in a catalog that they do not have in stock.  The temperature at this shop is always comfortable, their equipment and bathroom is always very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

All in all, this is one of my favorite 'beauty supply shops' in Philadelphia.

Fantastic double forward helix piercing by Keelan.  Was in town on vacation and chose this placed based on high positive reviews on various sites.  I would definitely recommended Keelan - he was knowledgable, fun/laid-back, and made me feel confident in my after-care, regardless if the fact that I was out-of-state.

I am originally from Delaware but just moved to Los Angeles and  prior to that, Infinite has always been my go-to spot to get new gauges/plugs. I recently came back to visit family and stopped in to get some new jewelry and decided that my girlfriend and I should both get our traguses (sp) pierced there. Our piercer was Ed  ( i think that was his name) and he was very good at making sure my girlfriend was calm and collected during her piercing. In all honesty I think I needed the small talk and reassurance more than she did, lmao. the staff up front was very helpful and they were all extremely polite. definitely go here if you want some exotic and unique jewelry. You can't even find half this stuff in LA!... or at least I haven't been able to.

Went in a little while ago to talk about a hip piercing. Waited less than 10 minuets to talk to the piercer about it (I can't remember their name though), and they were really great about it. She explained everything and was patient with me and answered all my questions.  She also told me that if I wasn't sure I should take time to think about it, which was great that she wasn't just trying to make a sale but make sure that I was 100% okay with it! I'v finally decided that I'm going to do it, and this is definitely the place I'll be going to have it done! The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I haven't actually been pierced here yet.

Edit: went in and decide to get my naval done instead, and was treated terribly. Ended up leaving and going some place else. They lady who I talked to before wasn't there, but the person I ended up talking to this time was really unpleasant. I guess it's kind of  hit and miss, but they  rushed me and were just over all rude. I wish I had talked to the lady I did before because she was GREAT with me. I was totally disappointed.

i can't believe it's been 3 years since my initial review of infinite. this place has remained my spot for piercings and body mod jewelry. they have always made me feel comfortable and i have no complaints. i can see that they deal with a wide variety of people on a daily basis -- ranging from your average person with limited knowledge of piercings and piercing care, and from more well informed individuals that are looking for advanced piercings.

considering the location of the shop, it must be quite a common occurrence that they have to turn down minors. south street is a young-person feeding ground, especially on weekends. i have seen them responsibly turn down such individuals, as they should.

they're currently helping guide me in the lobe stretching process and i must say i look forward to visiting every other month. keep up the great work guys!

I came in for a septum piercing @ 9pm on a Saturday night, not long before they would be closing up. The front desk staff was friendly and patient with me as I asked lots of picky questions about the jewelry they would be using. Enough to irritate anyone, trust me. But the girl helping me out was never short with me, bless her. Pricing and policies were up front and clear, they asked for ID like any reputable piercer should, etc etc.

I waited about... 15 minutes? Frankly, I thought I'd be waiting longer. Kellen was my piercer, and he was excellent. He put me completely at ease, took his time and did not rush me at all, answered every question and addressed things I didn't think to ask, and most importantly gave me an excellent piercing. I have a bit of a crooked nose, and I was worried that I might end up with a wonky piercing because of it, but Kellen is a pro, and compensated for my anatomy to create a lovely, straight, perfectly placed piece of jewelry. He (and the front desk staff) worked to help me choose between two different options, and Kellen's recommendation was spot on. It's been a week, and my piercing is still straight, healthy and comfortable. So far, this has been the best piercing experience I've ever had, and I'll definitely be returning for my next (a re-piercing of something done over 10 years ago) in a couple months.

Check out was quick and easy, I paid $30 for my piercing and $32 for jewelry, and felt very comfortable with my selection. Again, front  desk staff was super friendly, smiling, asking me how everything was. To anyone who says the staff is snobby or condescending...  Think about it this way: if you bring an attitude or a weird victim complex in to the shop with you, you might have a bad time? Everyone I dealt with was patient, knowledgeable, and nice - never snobby.

I would highly recommend Infinite to anyone looking for a piercing, and Kellen & front desk staff were awesome. I have no doubt their other piercers are excellent as well. My tips: leave ample time to find parking if you drive, bring your ID, leave your 'tude at home.

Ridiculously professional staff. Clean, and great selection of jewelry.   I appreciate how they stress the after care and ward people away from bad decisions (like a lip ring before the labret is fully healed first).

I have been wanting to pierce my septum for about 10 years but I was always so scared the pain would be too much for me to handle. I have no idea why I let this silly idea get into my head. I have had 6 other non ear piercings but something about my septum just frightened me.

So yesterday I finally got the courage to stop into infinite and go for it. I came to infinite based on the great yelp reviews and a personal reference from the friend who came with me. I'm glad I did.

The counter staff is very very friendly. Everyone was super sweet to me and the woman who was helping me directly, I forgot her name, was so reassuring that I felt more at ease. Much appreciated. Safety and cleanliness is highly valued here and it shows. Good clean fun!

My piercer Ed was great! He and I bonded over our recent moves from the California Bay Area to Philly and this chit chat also really helped me relax. It's a piercing so of course it hurt somewhat, but nowhere near what I had conjured in my head. Ed was quick and smooth. The only drawback was that once it was over and I looked in the mirror, I noticed it was crooked. This kind of thing happens and is in NO WAY a bad reflection on the piercer. I don't point this out as a negative rather to show that it was made right!

I have to commend Ed because sadly I have seen bad piercings out in the world and I know for a fact that some of the people who got them were dismissed when they showed concern. Not Ed. He promptly sat me back down and re-pierced my nose. I really really appreciated his dedication to the craft and my happiness. It looks gorgeous and I LOVE IT!

Kudos to Ed and Infinite. If you are thinking of getting pierced I would def request Ed. He is quick, smooth, clean and friendly.

I went to Infinite hellbent on getting an industrial piercing done. After careful inspection, I was told that the cartilage piercing I already had wasn't in a good spot, and my other ear wasn't right for an industrial. I decided to abandon my piercing and just get the industrial done. Queue more ear problems... It seems an industrial barbell would barely be noticeable on my ear (mostly covered). So, Kyle, my brilliant and awesome piercer decided to bend a barbell to look like a really long curved barbell. Worked like a charm and looks awesome--like my ear is bending steel!

I will definitely go back to Infinite for more piercings!

I came in on a Tuesday night but they had just taken their last person for piercing that night so I had to come back. The guys at the counter were SUPER NICE & informative and even offered me a 20% discount card. Hell yes.

I went back on Thursday night and had a consultation with Kali. I was able to get my surface anchor piercing on my sternum. It was my first body piercing and Kali was so professional, informative, quick, clean, and kept me relaxed the entire time. My friend was able to come with me and we all had some good laughs while it was going down. Kali bandaged me up, I paid and I was on my way out in about 5-10 minutes tops.

The next day I needed to get a quick cleaning done and emailed Kali to see if I could stop in to get that done. No problem - quick and clean. Thanks again Kali! =)

Overall, everyone at Infinite is very approachable and professional. The store plays awesome music and they have lots of jewelry to choose from. It's no wonder they've got such great reviews on yelp. If you are looking to get a piercing done or just have any questions about it, Infinite is the place to be.

I'll be coming back here for more, easy.

I just had my nips and nose pierced by Kellan earlier this afternoon. Overall it was a wonderful experience going to Infinite. The staff was very friendly and Kellan was great to chat with before, after and during the piercing process. I was a bit worried going in because I'd read reviews criticizing the staff for their rudeness or for being pretentious. I can wholeheartedly say that the folks I met today were neither of the two. I will definitely be visiting Infinite again in the future. Thanks a bunch to Kellan!

These fellows pierced my nipples a while back *cue that put-the-lotion-in-the-basket song from Silence of the Lambs.

Clean, friendly, even. A bit pricey but c'mon, guy,  you're not a prison inmate. This won't cost you a half pack of Pall Malls or a reach around in the communal shower nor should it. Please look to save money elsewhere in your life.

Unfortunately, my body rejected the piercing a few years later when I went swimming in Stone Harbor, but I'll blame the toxic cesspool that is the Jersey Shore for that one.

Absolutely professional from beginning to end. I went in for a simple service, just a second hole in each earlobe, and Kali explained everything to me from the selection of jewelry to the procedure itself. The rooms look like medical offices and I appreciate the extra steps to sanitize everything. My first holes were done at a junk jewelry store at The Gallery Mall and I question their sanitary habits. The people at Infinite are pricey but great.

This place is great, I have gotten most of my piercings here and I have never been disappointed with their service. People may complain that they are pricey but all you are paying for is excellent service and a piercing that's going to stick around for a while, as long as you take care of it that is.

They give good advice and they only give piercings they know will work out because they want to do their best to help their customers. When I had a pesky conch gauge done and I wasn't in Philly Kyle even looked at picture of the piercing and set me up with someone in DC who he trusted to help me out.

They have a great team there and they really know their craft.

For about three years, I was a regular at Infinite.  Whether I was adding more metal, getting existing holes stretched or coming back for care (more on this later), I have never been dissatisfied.

The shop is incredibly clean and well lit; the reception area has a lot of jewelry for sale.  Unless you're getting some of the more expensive and unique pieces, you can probably do just as well ordering online, but they are committed to staying stocked with good product.

The cashiers have only gotten friendlier in my time, and they can explain why you can't get pierced with acrylic without making you feel totally ignorant.  All the cashiers I've interacted with have been able to inform me at the same level as the piercers.

And the piercers!  Kellan is my absolute favorite.  He's a goofball, but he 100% knows what he's doing and how to do it.  They have a good rotation of famous guests, such as Elayne Angel, so you can have variety.

Not only does Infinite stretch and pierce, they provide amazing aftercare.  I had my nipples pierced at a 14g for two years.  It was two years of hell.  My body more or less just didn't want a thing to do with those piercings, and it was ugly.  I will spare you the pus-y details.  Anyhow, I went back at least six times, worried I had an infection, and each time the piercer I was with checked it out patiently and gave me advice on what to do.  On one visit, Jay gave me a bottle of Emu Oil for free to help it heal.  I did end up having to take them out (they started rejecting for real), and that process went really smoothly and painlessly.

You are gonna pay some money, and you SHOULD.  It's a chunk of the ol' budget, but any place charging less you shouldn't be going to.  Actually, I don't know why you would go to any other place anyway.

    TIP WELL.

I am no novice to body art; I have 12 piercings and 2 tats to date. That said, most of them are covered up by clothing. Tattoo/piercing joints tend to throw a bit of an attitude to those of us who like our body art hidden. Infinite is blissfully void of any nasty vibes. The staff there are so kind and courteous. They don't scoff or roll their eyes if you have inquiries. The shop is extremely clean and professional.

My piercer, Kellan, put me at total ease for both my clavicle dermal anchors. He explained every step in detail and gave me a thorough consultation to ensure that the piercings were right for my body. He was so quick with his work and I hardly felt a thing. I have seen him do nipple piercings and a helix and he is really dexterous and skilled. I am so happy with my dermals and get tons of compliments on them.

The quality of jewelry and instruments at Infinite is the best you can get. They have a dazzling array of plugs in some of the most beautiful materials I have ever seen. They also have tons of standard barbells, nose rings, belly rings, etc. I lived in NYC prior to Philly and no Manhattan shop can even touch the excellence that is Infinite.

I want to address some of the negative feedback that Yelpers have given Infinite. Bear in mind that the staff changes i.e. snooty counter people may not be there 2 years after a negative review. Each time I have visited, the men and women behind the counter at Infinite have been courteous, polite, and engaging. Also, it doesn't hurt to do your homework before you come into the store. You don't need to be an expert in piercing, but knowing the right terminology and lingo helps the staff understand what you want.

I have heard people complain that they were snapped at for touching a piercing when talking about it with the staff- WELL, YEAH! Piercing shops have to maintain ultra-cleanliness and it's not "weird" for them to tell you not to spread bacteria. Rest assured, none of us want your germs.

Being spoken to rudely is never okay, but I for one have never received anything less than good vibes from the folks at Infinite. I felt the need to add this blurb to my review because I have never seen a piercing/tattoo parlor with Infinite's level of polish and professionalism.

I've gotten multiple (ear) piercings at Infinite - which was highly recommended to me by a friend for their professionalism and cleanliness. For the past 4 years that I've been coming here, I have not once experienced the rudeness that some other Yelpers described. Everyone that I've spoken to has been pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Moreover, my piercers, Hydi (no longer there), Kellan, and Kyle have  always made me feel comfortable and relaxed before they put a needle into me.

They mark your ears with a Sharpie to show you where the piercing will be and they wash their hands profusely and wear latex gloves. The staff at Infinite really know what they're doing and definitely set a standard in Philly. Whenever I've had any questions or needed an insert done, they've always been helpful.

I decided to get a cartilage piercing, so went straight to Yelp.  I read the reviews about the snotty shop girls and was fully prepared for attitude, but the girl at the counter who helped me was great!  (She had short blonde hair but I didn't catch her name.)  I decided to get a new nose ring inserted after not wearing jewelry in my piercing for about a year, and couldn't decide which style to go for.  She was super patient and explained all of my choices to me thoroughly.

Kali was my piercer and she was great.  She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt completely comfortable with the cleanliness of her piercing room and the shop as a whole.  Everything was sterilized and was unwrapped in front of me, and Kali also changed her gloves in front of me.  I dislike it when I don't see latex gloves changed in front of me at the doctor or dentist, so this was a big plus for me.

My piercing looks awesome and I got a great aftercare booklet with all of the information I could possibly need to care for my piercing.  I'm already trying to figure out what else to get pierced, even though I'm too old to go on a piercing rampage like I did at age 18!

This shop came highly recommended to me by a friend (who also happens to be one of their major jewelry suppliers no less). I was told they were the best in the city and since moving to the area I needed a shop to frequent for my piercing/jewelry needs.

The shop has a great selection of jewelry, is clean and everything that I would expect from a shop that I would buy from, just like the ones I used to patronize in San Diego.

What I cannot even begin to tell you is the attitude problem from the ladies at the counter. Rude, condescending and just overall snarky. It's one of those things that is wrong in the industry, they treat you like a moron if you know nothing about piercing/guidelines but then they treat you just as bad when you know what you are talking about. So damned if you do, damned if you don't. I get they deal with the South Street crowds, which let's face it, can be difficult to deal with but just cause I don't look the part doesn't mean I don't know my business. It doesn't matter if the piercers are Ferraris when they have poor sales people in front of them.

It's a shame really cause their abiding by APP standards is always a selling point for me but one visit and I was left with zero desire to ever patronize their shop again.

Last night I went to Infinite for a septum piercing and my friend had her nostril pierced. I chose this shop based on the fact that they specialize in piercings only. Do one thing and do it right.

The shop is attractive and clean with an attentive staff. They have a wide assortment of beautiful and unique jewelry. I chose a retainer for work and also picked out a fabulous rose gold ring with clear stones for later. After a short wait, despite it being pretty busy, I was greeted by my piercer Kyle. What a lovely person!!! He was exactly what I needed for this experience; warm, funny and PROFESSIONAL. Bonus points for playing Danzig. I'm a nurse so I was eyeing him pretty hard as far as his sterile technique was concerned. I felt very safe in his hands. He explained exactly what was going to happen and what I should expect. It wasn't painful, dare I say it was pleasurable? I am thrilled with my outcome.

Next it was my friend's turn. She is, for lack of a better word, a WUSSY. After a LOT of questions, which everyone answered with a great deal of patience and compassion, she decided to go for it. She did great, said it didn't hurt and felt on top of the world after she did it. He explained how to care for our piercings and we paid. I was able to use my credit card for tipping as well.

I couldn't speak more highly of Infinite and Kyle. If you're a scardy cat like my buddy it is an excellent choice. They do everything possible to provide superior service and put you at ease. I would never dream of going anywhere else this place is wonderful!!

People looking to get tattoos might walk back and forth a few times in South Street's groovy tattoo precinct (there are so many shops!). But people getting a piercing should have no question as to where to go. Infinite Body Piercing FTW.

Infinite is a small shop specializing in piercings. The staff is tattooed and pierced up like no other, but they are so, so friendly. I just did a walk-in and didn't have to wait long at all. The prices were reasonable.

The interior is cool, almost chic. They have glass shelves to showcase gorgeous jewelry carved from wood, ivory-looking stuff, and whatever other delicate materials. It's pretty much work of art. If you are enlarging the gauge of a piercing (not sure how to word it, you know what I mean), this place has a whole range of beautiful works.

As for the piercing process, they are very professional. You see them take needles and stuff out of sealed packaging. They walk you through the whole thing and give you a sleek after-care brochure. It was such a nice, easy experience.

*Cash tips only, so have some cash on you.

If you are looking for any kind of assistance or help regarding a retail purchase, forget it. The front desk staff are extremely rude, unhelpful and have that "holier than thou" pretentious air about them. Every time I go in there, I leave with an awful taste in my mouth and no product to boot.
I've had my piercings done here, they do great work and I've never had any issues with healing or placement or anything like that, but they certainly could use a better support team. PLEASE HIRE NICER PEOPLE! THANKS!

Before I ever checked the Yelp reviews, everyone I know recommended Infinite as THE place to go for a piercing in Philadelphia.

I had only ever had my ears pierced a few times.  So, naturally, I was afraid I'd feel like...a tool bag... going to get an unexciting piercing, and having none to speak of. Like Meghan S., I'm not really cool, and I get that this is a piercing joint where cool people and things happen.  Anyway...

My first time there, I got my nostril pierced, and to be honest I was pretty terrified. Kali, my piercer, was accepting of all my insecurities (1. I'm feeling uncool, and 2. I'm afraid of the pain!). She didn't do anything special to make me feel better other than to be really convincing that I'd survive the ordeal, and of course do an excellent job. She sat me on the table, made sure to take enough time to find the right placement, told me to take a deep breath, and it was done. And I felt giddy-happy over how easy and low pain it was.

I came back a few months later and Kali did my Septum. I read that it was way easier to manage than a nostril piercing - both in terms of pain and healing time - true on both counts! Kali assured me that the worst part would be when she had to feel around in my nose for the right placement (which of course wasn't bad at all).

I had two great experiences with a professional and talented piercer, and yeah I definitely would like to find more reasons to go there given the quality of the experience and selection of sick jewelry.

When I was eight I got my ears pieced.  It was a mess.  They were uneven, the stud went through my ear so diagonally that my mom made them pull it out and redo it.  I cleaned it meticulously.  It still got *really* horribly infected.  My doctor had never seen anything like it.  I was really sad.  It look me a long time to work up the nerve to get re-pierced.

Twenty four years later, I am a crazy-cat lady (not at all cool).  But I wanted to try again.  My husband had gotten his plugs done here (by Kyle).  He said they were meticulously hygienic.   So I went in.  I kind of expected to get judged.  This is a super cool piercing place.  And I am not super cool.  I'm about as horribly uncool as you get.

Kali was super nice to me.  Everyone was super nice to me.  I was an embarrassed, 32-year-old getting my ears pierced who was slightly hypochondriacal  and had lots of questions.  *I* would have laughed at me.

Also, the jewelry they have here is amazing.  They had some really, lovely plugs.  It made me want to get more things pierced.

I had gotten my rook and tragus (in one sitting) by Luis here.

Let's just say, I've never had a piercing experience as comfortable and enjoyable as this one. Luis was so nice and extremely thorough when it came to explaining my aftercare. He also changed his gloves multiple times (since he was doing two piercings).

My experience with the other staff in the shop was also great too. No one gave me an attitude or was rude. The girl working the cash register that day was really friendly.

The shop itself had a comfortable atmosphere and also a wide range of jewellery. Oh! Talking about that...since Infinite is part of the APP, they ONLY use internally threaded jewellery, which is best for initial piercings. Another plus of this shop.

The pricing of piercings were very fair. Honestly, I would've have expected it to be more expensive because of how well Luis pierced me! Haha

Another side note, they give you a frequent piercings card too - after 4 piercings, you get one free. I accidently threw mine out...but I will definitely be coming back here for my piercings. (As of now, my piercings are lovely and healing fantastically!)

Last Christmas I had a very intimate piercing done at infinite.  Jay and the other staff members made my boyfriend and I feel very comfortable.  These guys really know their business.  They talk to you about not just the piercing process but the healing process.  The advice they gave me led to a quick and pain free healing.

I loved my experience so much that I recommended them to a friend of mine.  I went with her for her consultation and ultimately her piercing.  Again the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.  Jay even advised against certain piercings.  I love this because even though it may have cost him money, he still is looking out for his customers.  I respect that.

I would recommend them to anyone.

Did you know that your body can EAT piercings? Yep, me neither until it happened to me.  Let's just say I had a barbell piercing somewhere on my anatomy and one day I looked at it to find that mysteriously, only half of the barbell was visible.  After first freaking out, then crying, then fearing the loss of one of my prized bodily parts I gave them a call and they told me to come right in.

I went in and was escorted to a room by a professional gentleman.  He prepared me for what he was about to do...gently yet firmly pull the hidden side of the barbell completely out.  He prepared me for the fact that there would probably be a small pinch but nothing too painful.  He was right, and had me fixed up within 10 minutes tops.

He made a majorly embarrassing crisis a piece of a cake.  If I'm ever brave enough to pierce another part of my body...and my skin decides to eat it too, I'll be going back here pronto.

So the conch I got pierced here last year was screwed in way too tight, and I've been meaning to come back.. And just the other day I happened to be roaming around on South Street anyways and decided to stop in.

can I say AWESOME ? The 2 guys at the counter were happy to assist me, and after signing some paperwork, Jay brought me back to a room and loosened my barbell for me in less than 2 seconds! Free of charge.

    I'll be back~

The front counter staff may seem very nonchalant/unfriendly, but don't let that deter you. My piercer, Kev Jump, was great! Too bad he's not a resident piercer.. he only comes to Philly on occasion.

This place is very sanitary. Piercers wash their hands in front of you, all piercing materials are brand new, never reused and are opened out of the package when you're ready to be pierced. You also get to keep the sharpie that was used to mark your body! Yay..

Kevin made me feel very comfortable and answered any questions I had regarding my piercing. This guy definitely knows his stuff. If I ever come back for another piercing, I'll swing by when he's in town.

Great place! Great staff! Great piercer!
I've gone to Infinite twice already and love it! I'm in DC, but I find Infinite worth the drive.
The girls in the shop are super sweet. After my first piercing there, I was feeling a little dizzy. The girls were super nice and sat with me the whole time. Now...... That is great service!
Jay pierced me and I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient. Made me feel at ease and was very gentle. He's great!
The shop is spotless as are the rooms in the back.
Would not go anywhere else! Plan on going back soon for more.

I would honestly say that I would never go anywhere else for another piercing.

All the people that work there, counter clerks too, are extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the piercing process.

They are so, so, so, so clean.  I wish I could keep writing so because it is simply amazing.

I actually stop in there yesterday because I had taken my nose piercing out for something and couldn't get it back in.  They didn't charge me anything and I was seen right away.  Additionally, when I handed them the jewelry (this is how clean they are), they made me put it in a cup, without touching any counters or surfaces.  They then made me sterilize my hands and they did the same to the jewelry.

    LOVE YOU GUYS!

After getting to leave work early, my coworker and I were feeling impulsive and headed to Infinite to get some holes poked into our heads.

We walk in, the girl at the counter was really friendly. This helps because I'm already scared out of my mind. The wait was a little long, but worth it because Kyle was fantastic. He wasn't just nice, but like...cool. We all chatted like we'd known each other for ages. Coworker and I found this to be pleasant, considering this is the man that holds your fate in his latex-gloved hands. If you're going to stick a needle in my body, I want to feel comfortable around you. Coworker went first, took it like a champ. I went next, squirmed like a child, but of course, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Yeah, it's pricey here, but it's impeccably clean and everyone who works there genuinely has your best interests in mind.

My ear hurts now, but it's cool.

Would never think of going anywhere else. I have been using this place since my piercer-roommate moved across the country.  He recommended I go here & I haven't looked back.
Very knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient, nice, CLEAN & CARING.
Try the tea soak for cleaning your piercing. And use the tea soak for an infection like a cut or something even if it has nothing to do with a piercing- this stuff seems a miracle worker.
Buy your jewelry here too-  they have local & non-local artists' items for sale- support artists & support this shop. It's the best.
I wonder, however, do they need to special order me that ear-to-nose chain I'm wanting? I'll stop in & ask (oooo dam)

Went here with a friend to be with her while she got her nose pierced. Jay did her piercing and he was really friendly and made sure she was comfortable before doing it.  The rest of the staff seemed really knowledgeable too in regards to any type of jewelry they had around the store...  they were making a lot of recommendations to people, really knew their stuff.. though I suppose that should be mandatory for any employee at a place like this but unfortunately I'm sure there are many poorly managed places out there too.

My friend felt faint after the piercing and they let her sit down for as long as she needed to and gave her gatorade and checked on her without rushing her to pay or anything.  My friend was pleased all around.

If you're gonna get something pierced Go here! The service here is at the height of professionalism and cleanliness.
Being that I'm a biz owner, that says tons. I got a nose piercing almost a year ago. Kyle was my piercer. Most MD's should take a lesson from this man on beside manner and professionalism. Kyle was very casual, quick and informative. My piercing was over before i could say boo. I didn't even realize it was over until he said, All done!

8 mos later, I got a bad cold and of course was constantly blowing my nose, irritating my nose-ring. This morning I woke up with what looked like a huge whitehead beside my piercing. So me being a nudnick, went ahead and removed my nose-ring then proceeded to pop the sucka and used antiseptic to avoid infection. After I did this, I felt I should call these guys to see if I royally screwed up.

They said to come down and they would look at it and see if they could put my ring back in. The girl at the counter with cheek piercings which made her cute dimples look even cuter had me sign papers and then Kyle called me back. I was so glad I got him again. Turns out it wasn't bad and he was able to swiftly put my ring back in. Just told me to not use antiseptic and just the sea salt solution just like when I first got pierced. I took my paper to the cashier and there was no charge! The service is included if you get your piercing there.

Wow, they were really an organized team. Super clean, super efficient and way professional and nice. I would recommend these guys highly. If I ever get anything else pierced I'd go here again.

I didn't really shop around for prices, but I'm pretty sure their's weren't any more expensive than average.

The only thing that really mattered to me it that they were clean and knew what they were doing. They did.

    Friendly Staff: Check
    Quality staff: Check
    Low prices: Check
    Huge Selection of inventory: Check
    Clean: Check

The first four items are important to have in any buisiness, the last is a must for any piercing studio.  Walking in to Infinite you can tell that the cleanliness of the shop is gospel to them.  Piecers are super friendly as are the counter staff(I didn't recieve as much attention as the customers in front of me but I am neither an attractive woman or the type to ask a slew of questions)  They stock a wide variety of jewlery from quality companies like anatometal and don't mark up the jewelry like some other shops I've been to.

If you want to get pierced in Philadelphia this is the only place to go.

i was a walk-in appointment. it was pretty busy when i came in the door, but i didn't feel like an outsider at all. Taniesha (i'm certain i've misspelled that!) was amazing and personable while being extremely professional. even though there were a good few people in the waiting room, you could smell the cleaning supplies - always a good sign. the jewelry on display was spectacular and worth a visit just to gawk.

it was a matter of minutes between when i signed the paperwork and when i went back to the chair. Kyle had me totally at ease, a tough job considering this is the eighth time i've had my septum (re-)pierced. i'm 90% certain that he did it freehand and although i have a good bit of scar tissue, there wasn't nearly as much pain as in previous strikes. as an added bonus - he's a chubby, brunette, tattooed guy so that was pretty awesome for me on a personal level.

if you're in Philly and looking for a new hole, i definitely recommend Infinite. hell, even if you're not in Philly - in my opinion, it's worth the trip.

I feel slightly intimidated entering this place, because my piercings are pretty tame, but that wears off quickly. The people here are pros who know their stuff.

I went in to get some new jewelry for an existing piercing, but started asking about what was involved with another. I appreciated the fact that all of my questions were answered, without pushing the new piercing on me. If I decide to follow through with another piercing, it will be done here.

This place was clean, helpful, professional, and the guy behind the counter did not laugh at me when I told him I wanted to get a few piercings but that I'd decide in the chair how much pain I was interested in putting up with. Their regular staff were all away at a convention (woohoo for professional development, I guess) so I was introduced to their "artist in residence" or whatever, who was awesome.

My previous piercings were all the free, DIY kind - hotel rooms in Bali with a sewing kit needle type of thing - but this experience, combined with the maturity of age, probably, has completely sold me on the value of the professional version of piercings.

    I will assuredly be back.

Infinite absolutely has the best selection of body jewelry in the city of Philadelphia. It's always a nice treat to head into Infinite and pick out a new pair of plugs.

The 5th star is missing because my feelings on the staff there are a bit divided. The folks at the front at the counter can sometimes be a bit testy and a little too cool for school. I often feel that I get better service in the summertime when my tattoos are visible since I look pretty straight-laced in long sleeves.

However, the piercers are quite awesome. What's even more impressive is that I've never gone to Infinite for a piercing, just to have some problems fixed or to get re-sized for plugs after I let my holes close up a bit. I was worried because sometimes those needs aren't always well received in piercing and/or tattoo parlors, but the folks at Infinite were great about it. They keep the mood light, are humorous, chatty and always honest about what the 1st non-infinite piercer did that made the piercing not heal right.

When I was younger and stupid, I made some poor choices when it came to body art and modification. Knowing what I know now I would never trust anyone with a piercing needle outside of Infinite. They are the only spot in Philly worth discussing when it comes to piercings.

I got by pierced by Jay last week and had a great experience. I wanted another horizontal hood piercing, ideally between the one I already had and my triangle, but there was a question of spacing. He took his time sizing me up, even brought in another piercer (Kyle) for a second opinion on placement. Jay was really professional, precise, and easy to talk to.

Kellan did an awesome job on a slightly tricky piercing for me (triangle) a couple years ago. It takes real trust in your piercer's capabilities to tackle it as a mishap could be devastating - like getting your clit accidentally speared(!). After some teeth gritting, it was all over and looked fabulous. He was almost as excited about the results as I was!

I got my very first (non-ears) piercing here three years ago. The lady who did it was funny, made me laugh, and almost forget about the pain. She was awesome. It's been years though so I can't remember much.

But I did come here two days ago, my second piercing (that I did not get at infinite) had become stuck inside of the hole and had to be removed. The piercing had been done shoddily. But the piercer at Infinite quickly set the story straight on how good piercing care should be and told me all the wrong things the other piercer had done wrong. My piercer chatted with me and made me feel comfortable and didn't make me feel like an idiot when I admitted to being nervous to having the piercing extracted from my body (which took a second and didnt hurt as bad as i thought it would).

It was a bit busy when I went in, the wait at Infinite can be alittle annoying, but it's because everyone goes there...because, well...it's worth it. they really know what they're doing.

they didn't charge to remove the piercing i had, but instead told me to come back in 3-4 weeks when it had healed so i could get it repierced. When i asked how much I owed the piercer just said "Help is always free." which brought a smile to my face. Helpful they are. I did give him a cash tip though, because again...it's worth it. they're awesome here. I'll never go anywhere else for piercing help/service.

Thank you fellow Yelpers, for without you I am not sure I would have found Infinite. I got my nostril piercing at Venus in New York. One fine day I noticed that my nose didn't sparkle the way it used to and discovered that the diamond had fallen out of my stud. I found myself in need of a placeholder and called Infinite. I found out that they stock quartz glass placeholders and that they are $10, so off I went.

I got there in the middle of a weekday afternoon and it was a little crowded. I didn't make an appointment, and waited for about 30 minutes, which gave me a chance to look at the lovely jewelry. My piercer, I can't remember his name, was great. We discussed the product her used to clean the placeholder and my nose and the pros and cons of clamps.

So long as I am in Philly, I can recommend Infinite without reservation.

I came here with a friend earlier last year on a whim that we were both going to get piercings.  A fun day outing!

What a nice place Infinite is.  You can tell from the moment you walk inside.  The space is well lit, clean, and professional looking -- more than can be said for every piercing shop in Philly.  Jewelry is prominently displayed in glass cases, and benches are provided for you while you wait -- all in a space that could pass for an art gallery.

A good indicator of whether a piercing shop is good or not is how busy the establishment is or isn't.  Well, Infinite had steady business the entire duration of our stay.  From people just perusing the wares to people actually getting pierced, the pace was consistently full yet not rushed.

Any questions were answered knowledgeably and until I was satisfactorily assured of the information.  The actual piercing room was surgically clean, and the piercer was a professional.  What's more, they provided a thorough and well-designed aftercare manual with healing instructions for my specific piercing circled -- my septum.

The cost of both the piercing and the jewelery was rather reasonably priced.  In fact, it was cheaper than I expected to pay.  I've seen other places charge more for the same procedures.  And speaking of other places, this is one of the nicest piercing shops I've been in.

If (and when) I get pierced again in Philadelphia, I will certainly return to Infinite.

And just to answer your question -- No, getting your septum pierced really doesn't hurt.  It was quick and easy.  And he even showed me the needle through my nose in a hand held mirror.  :)

Prices cannot be beat for this place, although i did find it a little weird that if i wanted to get studs instead of a captive hoop for my tragis it would be an extra 30 bucks or so.

My piercer was Heidi. She was sweet and let myself and a friend (who was also getting pierced) and her boyfriend (not getting pierced) in the room at the same time which was super nice of her. She was very knowledgeable about everything and did not for a minute make me feel like a retard for saying "what do you mean you don't move the piercing when cleaning it, I've always done that" unlike dude at the front who seemed to go out of his way to make everyone feel like a douche for merely being in his presence. (I get it, you are hardcore, i am not, I bow to thee sir.)

Maybe it's because I've always been pierced by men, but Heidi seemed to be a bit more precise and it didn't hurt a whole lot. (I mean I did have a piece of sharp metal shoved through my ear cartilage, but she did it with speed and accuracy like no other and i don't know if it was just her method, but i got this thing 3 days ago and I'm almost completely heeled.. )

I would highly recommend my friends go to her.

The shop is VERY clean. The jewelry they have displayed is beautiful and unique. The staff is quite friendly (there was another guy at the front who was a doll, and even the other dude could have been so much worse) It seems like they may also do body modification outside of piercing (sub dermal implants and the like) but i didn't ask.

Overall this place is awesome, and should i ever decide spur of the moment to have any more holes punched in my body I'd definitely go back!

The store is immaculate up front, not what I'd expect of a piercing place at all! It's located down a sort of sketchy looking side street off of South Street, so I was a little apprehensive the first time I went there.

I had my earlobes pierced here in May 2009, and Clay, the piercer, was really very friendly and answered all of my questions, no matter how inane they were. I left with a really good impression of the place, thinking that all the piercers there were just as professional.

Fast forward to Oct 2009, and my room mate decides to get an industrial piercing. So we head off to Infinite again. This time, though, her piercer is a woman named Hydi. Though I'm sure she was sanitary and what not, her attitude left much to be wanted. She was, to put it nicely, grumpy, terse, and not altogether pleasant.

I suppose if I ever feel the inclination to get another piercing, I'll come here again.

With only a few discreetly located black ink tattoos, and no shocking body mods of which to speak, I was, needless to say, a tad intimidated to walk through these doors.  My fears were immediately allayed, however, the moment I walked up to the counter and met Jen Minuti, the woman who was about to become my new best friend for the next 20 minutes.

This chick is super chill, but also makes no bones about the fact that she knows what the hell she's doing, and (other than the pain I was anticipating) I was suddenly fearless.  Also, I might add that this particular piercing was in a very...ahem..."personal" location, but Jen's attitude made me feel like it was just like any other part of my body--no embarrassment on my part, and definitely no discomfort on hers.

The whole thing cost me under $80 including jewelry, plus I got to keep my marking sharpie, and the pleasure of writing with that thing knowing where it's been was worth it in itself.

So, while I'm not saying that I'll be filling up the little boxes on my "frequent piercer card" any time soon, if I ever get the urge again, this is my stop, no questions asked.  Fight through the crowds of pre-pubescents trying to pretend that navel rings are sooo bad-ass, and go getcha self pierced.

I've had 3 piercings done here and have loved the experience. The staff may be slightly intimidating (my piercings are on my ears, so maybe it is because I don't look like the typical person wanting piercings), but the two people who actually pierced me were great. They know a ton of information about piercings and even steered me away from a certain ear piercing since they say it never heals right. I even went with a friend when she went to get lower back surface piercings and Kelan, the piercer, was using a new tool that he had created to do it.

It may be slightly expensive, but it is totally worth it for the great service and knowledgeable staff.

Once upon a time, I needed to get my nipples pierced. Happy 18th birthday, self! While I thought I was a badass for doing it, I was scared shitless and scanning the internet every spare minute I had. I don't even know where I read the recommendation for Infinite, but the second I walked in there I felt at ease...aside from the nerves associatied with anticipating someone shoving a needle through your nips.

The store is surgically clean. Everyone is SUPER knowledgeable and friendly, and nobody gives off that "hipper than thou" vibe you can get at a lot of tattoo/piercing places when you walk in without full sleeves and 10 visible pieces of jewelry.

They also take their job very seriously and are more responsible than any piercers I've ever experienced. To test this hypothesis, a friend and I showed up stupid drunk one day in hopes of getting our faces pierced. We paid, and then the piercer asked "have you guys been drinking?" and, after a long pause, we responded with "...not for awhile." They refunded our money and sent us on our merry way, and they weren't even assholes about it!!! They should have been; we had no business being in their shop.

Anyways. A++++. If you're getting anything pierced, please do your body a favor and go here.

Every time I want a new hole in my face, or I'm even just thinking about putting a new hole in my face, I refuse to go anywhere BUT Infinite.  They are *a little* pricey, but it's worth it, because these guys are pros.  When punching holes in your face or body, please spare no expense.

The folks at Infinite are the first ones to tell you that they are not doctors, but they really really know their stuff, and are there to help (both the piercers and the desk people).  They always check out the area you want pierced first and ask you a million questions to make sure it's do-able and safe, and if it's not, they send your ass home.  I like this - it's not all about the Benjamins over at Infinite.  They also will insert/change/remove stuff for you that you can't get in/out on your own for no charge, just because they're nice.

The shop is well organized,  clean as a whistle, and whether you're already pumped full of metal, or you're going for your first nostril screw, you will be treated very politely and non-judgmentally.

    Hooray for Infinite.

Got my both of my nipple piercings here (first last year, second last month) and I have to admit that the piercers at Infinite are probably some of the best around.
Clay took my piercing virginity, and he was great- very funny and informative. Surprisingly the actual piercing didn't hurt at all, if anything the clamps were probably the worst part.
The second time around Kellan pierced my other nipple, very professional and used a different method (without clamps) so that was interesting.
There is a giant selection of jewelry, and you'll definitely find something that suits your needs.
Some nights there will be a bit of a wait, but hey- that's what happens when you find a place where people know what they are doing.

Popped into Infinite to buy a replacement ball for my belly ring (it's 15 years old, give me a break). Not only did the super cute/super helpful counter girl help me find the right one, she also didn't charge me. The piercer adjusted the sizing of the hoop thing (so it would fasten to the ball correctly), and then looped it though my belly button. Again, for free.

I left completely impressed, satisfied and with money in my pocket. Such a good deed will come back to them surely.

I'd like to point out that I don't like saying the words "belly button," but I did it for you, Yelp. I did it for you.

I am going to add to yelping love for this place because they were so nice to me, and also, because the counter help was not snotty! Maybe people are really sensitive, or they hired a new girl, but I got no attitude.

The piercer combines the right amount of pretense, idle chat and joking with instruction and knowledge to make you feel perfectly at ease in the face of having your nose skewered with a large needle. In my opinion, you want a little bit of pretension from a piercer. They should be taking themselves seriously; they are altering your face! That being said, this place did not overdo it, which is why they get 5 stars.

The only bummer was that there was a little bit of a wait, but that's not their fault, and it gave me plenty of time to look at all of the unique and beautiful jewelry they have displayed.

I hadn't had a piercing in 10 years and they were so welcoming, I think I will go back soon and get more.

Kind of strange that I came here at all, as I was a big advocate for DIY piercing until a few years ago.  I got my septum pierced here and was extremely happy with the service.

Sometimes you can tell a lot about someone by a small detail - maybe the shoes they wear, or the keys on their keyring.  For Infinite, that detail is their sign.  It's the clean design and well chosen font of their branding, I know it's kind of a silly thing to mention - but it's what I first noticed, and it conveys professionalism, quality, and cleanliness..... just compare their sign to the piercing place a few blocks away next to the chop shop, and you'll get a sense of what I'm talking about.

Thankfully, this was not a case of false advertising - Professionalism, quality, cleanliness - Infinite is all of those things (which, of course, come with a hefty price tag.)

I have gotten two piercings from here (nose and lip), and this is the most professional yet welcoming establishment I have been to.  These folks don't mess around- the place is extremely sanitary and the staff definitely knows their stuff.  They will find you the product you are looking for.  What will keep me going back is the pride they take in their work.  After you are done "being pierced"  your piercer will provide you with their card and assure you that if anything goes wrong or if you need a jewelry change or need help getting something removed- that they will do it free of charge.
The prices are little bit stiff compared to what I am used to- but you can't beat the customer service and quality.

I've had an on-again / off-again relationships with nose piercings since I was a senior in high school. The first time I got it done, I was 17, so we'll blame it on being young and silly. I actually had the piercing performed in the parking lot of a Grateful Dead show in Charlotte, NC. That sounds like a smart idea, right? Now I understand why my father got so mad at me that he didn't speak to me for about 3 weeks. Shudder...

The second time I got my nose pierced I was a freshman in college and some girl in my dorm did it for me. Again, not the smartest decision I've ever made. The third time was in a little hole in the wall on St. Mark's Place in NYC (I was livin' the punk rock dream, ha ha) and the fourth was at an actual piercing shop in the East Village, not far from the first apartment I lived in in the big city.

But the fifth time was a charm. I went to Infinite, where I was treated to a lovely experience that literally brought tears to my eyes (trust me - it hurts). The staff was incredibly professional and pleasant, the shop was clean and tidy and the jewelry selection was impressive.

It should come as no surprise that I took that one out, too. I think my love affair with piercing has come to an end, but just in case the idea burrows into my head like some sort of shiny parasite, I'll go back to Infinite for sure.

Just agreeing with all the other Yelpers -- this is by far the cleanest, zero sketch factor piercing studio I've ever stepped foot in.  Each piercer gets their own room and it's like *medically* clean, almost like walking into a dentist's office (but more fun??)

I've had 2 different piercers here and both took their time, acted professionally, answered all my questions and then some and overall created a nice experience.  All the staff I've seen are 'down to earth' like someone else stated.

It gets really busy on weekends with all the walk-ins, but that's another reason this place is so great.  If you don't mind a little wait you will still get a professional, clean job done without anyone rushing you.

I live in DC and I would come to Philly (again) to get pierced here.  I recommend this place to folks I know.  Very glad a piercing studio like Infinite exists.

Very professional, very clean. If you plan on getting something pierced, come here and all those worries you stayed up the night before over (like hepatitis) will go out the window when you walk through the door.
The lack of the final star is due to the incredibly long wait on any given night. It is pricey, but you're paying for safety and professionalism! worth it.

I used to work at infinite and I can tell you that the employees pride themselves as much on education as giving you a great piercing. My first 2 weeks were spent studying aftercare guides and doing research. After two years of working the counter there, I knew about woods, stones, metals, infections, autoclaves and sterility, blood born pathogens, body reactions, healing times, what to do and what not to do.

I think it is important for the people who read the reviews about Infinite to bear in mind that this shop IS the busiest shop in the city. While the counter-people may sometimes come off as standoffish, or cocky, it is never their intention to make people feel uncomfortable. It is easy to get overwhelmed juggling customer service and making sure someone gets the proper jewelry for their body. Infinite is one of the shops that takes pride in saying, "No." to the client if they fell that 1) it is a very impractical healing phase (if they ever heal) and 2) if a person's body is just not suited to accommodate a particular piercing. navels are the most frequently turned away.

Basically the sum of these parts is that Infinite is the most respectable and clean piercing shop in the city. all their piercers are APP certified and their owner is currently a member of the APP board. They have probably the largest jewelry selection in the tri-state area. You get what you pay for with piercings and that explains why Infinite may have slightly higher prices, because you know you will leave with a great piercing.

Like any body modification shop, the people that work there are hit or miss. For better or for worse, Infinite has both of those worlds. Don't get me wrong, I think it really is the best place to get pierced in Philly but some of the staff can be a bit abrasive.

For instance, a few months ago my friend and I went to get pierced; she wanted a lower lip piercing, me a septum piercing. Our piercer's name was Jen, I believe, and she was slightly rude to my friend. Whenever she would ask a question, Jen would answer in way that made it seem like EVERYONE should know the answer and you're dumb for not. Conversely, she was nice to me and I ended up with a great septum piercing.

They are very helpful in terms of changing jewelry and re-piercing if something falls out. My septum piercing fell out during a drunken vacation moment and I was told that if it didn't have to be re-pierced then I would only have to pay for the jewelry, which is nice.

It's extremely clean there and they sterilize everything/open all the needle packages in front of you. I recommend it highly, just be wary that sometimes you may get stuck with someone who has a holier-than-thou attitude

The best place to get pierced in Philly by my book. all the piercers are friendly and very informative. they really know how to make you feel comfortable, and are quick to recognize you when you come back in. it also has some guest piercers every once in awhile.
It generally doesn't take very long to wait, even on the weekends. but they have an old school arcade game set up in case it does take awhile or you go in with friends. Infinite also has the best selection of jewelry to choose from.
If you plan on getting a few piercings in the next few months, then I recommend seeing if they still offer frequent piercings cards.

This place rocks. The staff is super cool & very professional.

My friend & I went to get our nostrils pierced about a month ago. Clay was our piercer. He explained everything about the piercing & healing process while making sure we were both comfortable. The piercing was quick and relatively painless. I bought the recommended cleaning product, took Clay's advice to heart & am very happy with my piercing.

    I recommend Infinite very highly.

Kevin's done all my other piercings and I think he is just fantastic. Everyone there is really laidback, knows what they're talking about, and having fun with what they do. They're all also very informative about the piercings- what to expect, how things can differ in each individual's body, etc. They're sweet about changing jewelry for you if you're going up a size, or just not sure how to maneuver it. A+++

It is the place I would recommend anyone to go to.

Obviously the place is clean. I think that should be assumed. The best part about Infinity is not its cleanliness but its friendliness.  I've been here several times, once for a piercing, once for a friend's piercing, and just to shop for some new jewelry.

Each time, the piercers were super friendly and super knowledgeable. Regardless of whether you're a seasoned pincushion, or just trying something new, the entire staff makes you feel comfortable with your decision.

The prices of the actual piercings are average (but worth it), but you can find cheaper jewelry other places. Personally, I'll never go anywhere else for a piercing, and I'd recommend it to everyone, except my worse enemy (because i'm mean, like that).

EDIT- I went back for new jewelry, the other day.  I would like to say that the piercers are all fantastic but going back reminded me that the people behind the counter are a little snotty.  Shame.

Seriously, there is no reason to get pierced anywhere else in all of Philadelphia.  This place is VERY clean (so much so that they let you keep the Sharpie that they use to mark the area they're going to pierce).  The piercers are VERY professional and well trained, not to mention incredibly nice.  They always ask all about you, show real interest in who you are, and so on.  The selection of jewelry is GREAT.  Their prices are average for a piercing shop.  Well, expensive if you get pierced by a gun in a mall... but you REALLY shouldn't do that for many reasons.

Seriously, I've been pierced in a few different places (both geocraphically and on my body), and I no longer see any reason to go anywhere other than here.  I would intentionally wait to get a piercing in order to go here instead of anywhere else.  it's just the best!

I have no holes in my body that the good lord didn't bless me with originally. However, I've been "that dude" on numerous occassions, who waits, crosses the street to go look at records, comes back, waits some more.

Infinite is always the place. After numerous "associates" going there, I've never once seen any of those Stephanie Tanner piercings gone wrong. This place knows what they're doing.

I am into my 7th year with my TONGUE piercing. Sorry, I can't give you recommendations on my piercer, as it was oh-so-long-ago, and I know they are all GREAT.

This was my first piercing - outside of the traditional earring piercings - so I was super nervous. My friend, who had his tongue done here years before, brought me to the place on a quiet Monday.

The process of the actual piercing was explained, as well as a comprehensive examination of my tongue (YES, they will turn you down if it's too dangerous - and will advise you if your body will REJECT the piercing), prior to picking out jewelry. They were great with helping me determine the best size (I went BIG - 10) and type. I then signed consent/waiver forms and then proceeded to revel in the last thorough tongue brushing and mouthwash rinse I know I'd have in many days.

I was ushered into a private piercing room, that was beyond STERILE, which had an antiquated barber shop or dentist chair in the middle. My piercer explained the process and my active participation again. I sat forward and ...

Long story short, my friend said it SOUNDED like a NAIL GOING THROUGH A RICE CRISPY TREAT. In case you were ever curious.

After care instructions were explained and provided in a neat tri-fold pamphlet and I was on my way. The requisite tongue swelling and lispy speech followed. The even more requisite ice chips and Ibuprofen helped, and allowed me to eat pizza that evening, and Chinese food (including those little granules of rice) the following night.

I am so surprised to hear that everyone loves this place.  I come here for my jewelry, because well, let's be real, they have the best selection around, especially for plugs.  But other then that, I have always found the people working to be pretentious, abrasive, shit bags.  Almost as though they look down on me for not having 30 different holes in my body, the majority clustered upon my head.  Is 14 not enough?

I don't intimidate easily, but I find my ventures in here to always end in that feeling.  With that said, I find comfort in piercing my body at Warrior which is just up the street and far cheaper.  The people in Warrior are just as clean, just as explanatory, and so much kinder to the out of city traveler looking for some city edge.

I got my septum pierced here about a year and a half ago and I couldn't be more pleased. I came in without an appointment on a Friday night right after work and they took me right away.

My piercer was this guy named Kevin Jump and he took his time explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable. He told me that my eyes might start welling when the puncture is made and sure enough, old lefty started to trickle. He wiped the tear away and we bullshitted for a bit. He was patient while he helped me flip up and flip down the retainer. Then I went out to pay and started talking smack with the guy behind the register.

I came back a few months later to get a curved barbell and old Kevbo was there again. He offered to put the jewelry in and I obliged and tossed him a few bucks. He then asked me if he could take a picture of my face for his portfolio and it was a nice day, so we went out the front door. This drunk old man came wobbling down the street and he said "Take a picture of me before she breaks your lens!" And I thought I looked good that day :(

I recommend this place for your first or any piercing. However, I don't recommend taking a swig out of any bums hooch. That shit's nasty!
