This place has the look and feel of a barbershop but it is in no way one. Â Barber's are male, there is no other way to look at it, call me sexist if you want but it's true, women are hairdressers. Â No self-respecting barbershop would have a girl working there and when I saw her, I should have turned around. Â Since the O.B. barbershop was closed until noon on Wed., I had to take the Old Man to Seth's, boy that was a mistake. Â I told her buzzed around the sides and a little on top to style for my dad. Â I don't like to question the person I'm paying to do something since I assume they know what they are doing, but when the clippers never came out and she cut the sides with scissors, that was when the bell should have gone off, since my dad is old he will not complain. Â She could have cut one strand, he would have paid her and said it was fine. Â But I knew it wasn't right and after paying the outrageous sum of $30 ($25 plus tip), I spent five minutes in the car insisting to my dad we go back in and get the cut he wants. Â Not to mention, she filled my dads shoes with hair, both times. Â Ducky's barbershop is $16, O.B. Barbershop is $16, I'm trying to figure out how they can charge $25 for nothing extra. Â I usually go to Ducky's, those guys are incredible, but it's a drive, now I know it's worth it.
Review Source:My hair dresser recently moved out of town and I was a little nervous to try a new place. Â However, Mandy at Seth's Chop Shop was great! Â She asked a lot of questions for clarification on what I was looking for and was able to give me exactly the cut and style that I wanted. Â I will definitely be going back. Â Plus the shop itself is fun and has great decor. Â :-)
