Tattoo Royale

I've been coming here since the place opened.  Before that, I was getting tattooed by Guf, the owner, for several years.  The quality of the artwork and tattoo work coming out of this shop is unparalleled.  There are three artists working and they are the same artists who have been here since the doors first opened.  All three artists are extremely talented as will become evident when you notice all of the paintings, sculptures, custom resin castings and airbrushed pieces that are on display, among other things (people make special trips to come admire and purchase these items as well).

These guys really know their stuff.  They are masters of their craft and I can guaranty anyone who goes under the needle at this shop that they will never want to go anywhere again.

Tips:
- This shop is very clean
- Larger pieces are done by appointment.
- They take walk-ins for smaller stuff when they're able.
- Rates are very reasonable.
- Staff is friendly and approachable.
- Very nice location in Pacific Beach
- No weirdoes/hoodlums hanging around

Milton for president!

My husband had some work done by Milton and when it came time for me to FINALLY get my coverup this is where I went. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted and took in some pictures to Milton that I thought represented my vision. At my consultation Milton seemed like he understood what I wanted, but said he would sketch up something and call me to come see if I liked it.  I left there thinking I'd have to come in a few times until we got it the way I wanted my tattoo to look. WRONG! Milton got that shit on the first try! My husband and I were in awe at his sketch. How did he do that? I will never know. Anyways, a few sessions later and my old tattoo is gone and I now I have an art piece that I am beyond proud to wear. Milton is all business and a very talented man. I highly recommend him if you are looking for something you'll be proud of.
