I only have 3 tats so far and they were all done here. One was done by Handsome Dan, and the others by my friend Steve the owner of this fine establishment.I was very happy with all the work and and it wasn't too painful.Steve can do work free hand,or you can ask him to draw something to your specifications to create your own tattoo. The place is very laid back and has the best music playing in the background. You should make an appointment because this place gets busy, and sometimes it might be closed so call to be sure someone is there to work on you..
Review Source:I was in New York with a good friend last week. Â As we were hanging out with her bestfriend and boyfriend the topic of tattoos came up. Â I asked them where they got theirs at. Â They said a good friend of theirs ' Johnny Mohawk ' has his own shop in Brooklyn. Â I asked if they could call him to see if he can squeeze me in. Â Our friend Staci picked up her cell phone right away and called Johnny. Â 2 minutes later I had a confirmed appointment for the next day to ge my second tattoo.
Jonny's so laid back and makes it really easy to relax. Â Great sense of humor and advises to what you should do before getting a tattoo and what to do to maintain it.
He really had a gentle touch and always checked in to see if I was okay. Â This recent tattoo was fairly small and I had expected it to take like half an hour but he's so fast he finished in closer to 10 minutes!!!
He's very flexible and wants to make sure that the outline placement is exactly where you want it. Â He had to redo the carbon outline twice before I got it to where I wanted it to be without any complaints.
Such a sweetheart, great service, and great skills. Â Thanks Johnny Mohawk!!!!
