Gunther was great once I got in the chair. I love my cut.

Downside they were running about 35-45 min behind on a random weekday afternoon and they didn't seem apologetic at all that they were running behind. Kind of off putting. And they didn't tell me (and I didn't see a sign) all tips must be in cash and I didn't have any on me. So I had to walk to duane Reade on a rainy day in a freshly dried haircut to get cash for a tip. Sucked.

I came here because I wanted a design from Minka Sicklinger and she works out of this shop on certain days.
The place is very clean, the music is good, and the receptionist is nice. They are well organized.
But the star was Minka. I cannot express how amazing she is. Not only is she the best tattoo artist, she is also just a cool, easy going person. My tattoo was better than I expected and it was an overall great experience. I cannot wait to get another one by her.

Recommend by a model for their outstanding knowledge of color and alternative styles. Upon reading the other Yelp reviews I scheduled an appointment with Josh Peter for a complete recolor.

Condition of hair: Medium-dark brown, color treated with box coloring. Very fine yet thick. My hair has prominent red undertones.

Desired color was a deep purple. Using Raw's color, Josh bleached my hair to a vibrant red-orange then applied the color. After a few washes the color turned brown. He invited me back to correct this with another round of bleaching and using Manic Panic Purple haze. He told me that some strands did not hold the color so I could come back a third time to complete the job, he trimmed my damaged ends complimentary. The third time we mixed 1:1 Raw's Deep Purple with Manic Panic Purple Haze. The color has come out beautifully with total coverage, no grays or missing patches.

I am prepared for normal fading yet am thrilled by the latest color output. Josh was exceedingly patient and accommodating as my hair posed these problems. He would not let me go away without my desired color.

The people in Graceland are extremely nice and personable. They are more than happy to chat with you if you like to talk and will let you be to your book if you don't wish to socialize. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the treatment both my hair and I received.
