MacGibbon Tattoo

I have five custom tattoos from artists in New York, DC, and LA so I can confidently say this from a varied base of experiences - Ryan is fantastic.  From the memory foam in his table to the carefully selected pictures on the wall for you to look at while he is working, this guy is completely dedicated to providing the most thoughtful, positive, and satisfying tattoo experience possible for every client.  He listened to my concerns and thoughts, answered all my questions, and even stepped outside his style a bit (a style to which he is clearly extremely dedicated) to make sure that I was happy with my tattoo.  

His price is very reasonable given the boutique tattoo experience you get when you go here.

Given his emphasis on customer service (which not everyone has), his artistic talent (accompanied by a humble demeanor so you aren't in the awkward position of trying to negotiate with a diva over something that is going to be on your body forever), and his deep appreciation of the methods and history of tattooing I would recommend you get something with him now before his price skyrockets and there is a huge waitlist.  Because that day is going to come.

My bf had been thinking about getting a Monk tattoo since I met him so we headed to MacGibbon Tattoo once he was 100% set on it (he's had 2 previous pieces done by him - see pics). It was really easy to get to and we found parking right away. More importantly, the place was clean and Ryan was really nice and professional. There's artwork on the walls and tattoo books to flip through if you're waiting or want to see his portfolio. The work is solid, the colors are bold, and there are no signs of fading to come. He is very, very happy with all of them. If I ever get a tattoo, I'd definitely feel comfortable coming back here.

I have known Mr. MacGibbon for many years and have seen his art flourish. Received a new one just this past August, it looks great and will continue to many years from now.
