I have had two tattoos done here by Mike Lucena. I first connected with him for a piece of scripture on my leg. I heard he was the best for script, and he did not disappoint. The first tattoo is on my right thigh, from my hip, to about 2 inches above my knee. It took two sessions, around 3 hours each.  I could not have been happier with the result. My  script looks great, and it healed very nicely.  I got my second tattoo done here a few weeks ago with my fiance. I absolutely love it, and the colors are bright and vibrant.
This is not a cheap tattoo shop. A tattoo is with you for life, Paying  top dollar for your tattoo is worth it, and Mike is worth every penny.
I got my sleeve done by Mike Lucena at Flyrite. Â He's the man. Â I probably had a total of 8 appointments because he worked on a huge piece of mine. Â My sleeve is all black and grey, and Mike did a great job. Â He was meticulous, and asked me how I was doing every time I would flinch. Â
The sleeve turned out awesome. Â I get compliments all the time. He was also a pleasure to work with and fun to chat with. Â He also fixed the tattoos I have on my knuckles during my sleeve appointment because I kept complaining about the crappy job some other artist did at a different shop.
I would definitely go back to Mike again!
Just got a tattoo today from Mike. It was a walk-in and he was able to do my tattoo right away. He's a pretty cool guy, laid back and funny. I was considering getting a complete white ink tattoo but he dissuaded me saying it wouldn't look the way I expect. So it's only partially white ink but i definitely like it anyways. He did a great job and hopefully when it heals completely it looks even more awesome. The price was a big hefty for the simplicity and small size of the tattoo but if you don't mind dropping some mullah on a tattoo you really want, I definitely recommend this place.
