Very dissappointing to say the least. Â We called atleast three times to try and get an idea or be able to talk to the artist my husband wanted. Â Finally on Friday, they told him to come in at noon, and he would be available. Â We drove from NJ, paid tolls, and parking and were ready. Â We figured it would be expensive, so got a quote around home, and then figured for double that price..thinking that would be a good estimate. Â We walk in and ask for the particular artist, and were treated like we were crazy to ask for him. Â I explained how we called on Friday, and the guy said that he had worked a three day shift, and deserved a break, and that we should have made an appointment. Â My husband was wearing a shirt with bascially the picture of what we wanted, but it needed tweaking. Â The guy helping us was very upset that we did not have an accurate picture, and no appointment. and what do you know..while talking the artist we wanted just walks up and says hi. Â He wasn't doing anything, just like they had said. Â And if your artists are so good, they should be able to draw anything without a picture, and we brought one that was a pretty good idea. Â So, we proceed with the consult, and the guy tells us he needs to find a picture on the internet, and it would be about $2000. Â Almost four times what we expected. Â And he told us to come back late evening, like we had nothing better to do. Â He had a starting price for that tattoo and we explained that would've been a good thing to say on the phone, and we wouldn't have wasted our time traveling there. Â The receptionist never even looked at us, or said hello, and no one else even cared that we were there. Â We were the only ones in the shop, btw. Â Dissappointed to say the least. Yes, you get what you pay for, but that was ridiculous. Â Pretty much a waste of our day. Â They made us feel like we should be lucky to be standing in their shop and if we didn't want to spend money, we'd better leave. We would rather spend our money where it's appreciated.
Review Source:I have visited the club with a friend, after having being in touch for a long.
All we wanted to have was a tattoo to remind us forever our visiting NY.
The tattoo artist we talked to (unknown to us) asked us an amount of money extremely ashamed considering the shape and dimensions of the tattoo we were asking about.
We tried to bargain a long but he did not lower the money to our possibilities.
We went away without a tattoo.....
The "remind" is assured !
Who do you think you are? Movie stars?
What do you think you have? A secret talent? A special blessing?
The same tattoo in an another tattoo studio came out for 1/5 of that money.
Shame on you. Too much disappointing !
FORGET ABOUT MAKING TATTOO ART LIKE "SNOBBY MOVIE STARS BUSINESS !
SHAME SHAME SHAME !!!!!
