Marshal has lead me to top of the line equipmnt that has improved both the safety and aestetic quality of my tattoos .i actually use unimax west , almost exclusively . i found that they were alot more customer freindly than new york and very patient and reasonable to deal with . UNIMAX WEST has been goos about matching prices and since i use them very frequently have cut me slack on shipping. in all categorys including resolving problems (which is inevitable in this world ) they do very well . it has always been pleasant dealing with Bree and autumn on the phone and I have sort of grown to feel a freinship with the owner Marshall who has given me great info about product safety and performance . I am now testing out the grey wash series they make which i was really pleased was made sterile. believe it or not this is not required of tattoo inks so i tip my hat for going above and beyond with safety !

I really like this place - from the cleanliness and organization to the selection and helpful service. I almost went to a tattoo spot to get my ears stretched, but a friend suggested that I try here. So glad I did - it helps to save money and be able to talk to people who know what they're talking about. I'll be back!

Unimax, oh how i love thee. To date, I can't find the jewelery i wear anywhere else but here. although i will admit i haven't ebayed or on line shopped because I'm more visual and i am more likely to buy something that is in front of me, especially when it is jewelry. Unimax is great. they have so many choices to choose from you can spend all day and all your money there.
They also have a tattoo/book section that i have only made it to a handful of times since starting to go here about 10 years ago. However they have great supplies and interesting books. More likely than not, you will not get helped if you don't ask someone. Usually that's how i go about it and i am helped immediately or shortly after. The employees that work there are extremely helpful. I know that if i bought online wholesale it would be cheaper but I'm a fan of Unimax, and i hope a few cents more they charge will help them survive. I bought 5 pieces of jewelry for a little over $20. I'm not complaining as they are all big guages and its rare you will find cheap prices for these at all. As well as I love looking at all they have. it is literally everywhere once you walk up that flight of stairs, if you find the place. *hint go towards the BK and look for the Unimax sign.* The store is fun and is an adventure to get to. I will defiantly be back, as i always bring my newly pierced friends here as well as go with my body modified friends already.
I am rating this 4 stars as if you are a newbie it can be overwhelming and they are sometimes helpful but sometimes not. Go in knowing what you want, or a style that you are looking for, they will work with you and be helpful with your questions as best they can. Also, go knowing what guage you are, it will help as sometimes they have styles only at a certain guage.
