Truly as good as it gets. Margaret was awesome!
Took our almost 1yr old to get her ears pierced - she accommodated us the same day (after her closing time even) which was awesome. When we got there, we saw someone leave very satisfied, which really boosted my confidence. How Margaret dealt with everything made me feel even better. She spent a good 15-20mins almost trying to make sure the markings were even. She was constantly talking to us and explaining the whole procedure and how important it was to make sure we get it right etc. She was very patient and understanding, didnt' rush us even after the next appt ppl were already there. She took her time to explain aftercare and much to our delight, offered a 24/7 advice/support in case we had any questions. That was really nice of her, and really helps an anxious mom. Cost us just under 100$, we got 4mm white gold balls with screw backs.
All in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend her! After seeing the whole process, i'll def say it's worth spending the time & money on a professional rather than someone inexperienced - you only do it once afterall! :)
I wanted to have my daughter's ears pierced and didn't want to take her to a mall or tattoo parlor! I read all the positive reviews here on Yelp and decided to make an appointment. Margaret was very friendly on the phone and answered all my questions. She sent me a reminder text the day before the appointment too! When I arrived my daughter was in a good mood however when we went into the room where the piercing is done her mood quickly changed! My daughter cried and struggled throughout the entire process and Margaret was extremely understanding and had lots of patience through it all! She explained the entire process beforehand and allowed my daughter time to try and calm down. I am very happy with the result and recommend her to anyone looking to have their child's ears pierced. She is a true professional!
Review Source:This review is long overdue. We researched and decided to visit Margaret to pierce our 1 year old daughter's ears. We didn't want to visit a tattoo parlor or have some teenager in the mall do it.
Margaret took her time and made sure the markings were even and was patient when our baby cried. We were prepared with toys and music and it was a team effort to help our daughter relax. Actually the piercing process was the fastest. I only wish there was more of a variety of affordable earrings as ours were diamond studs that ran in the higher end around $180. They could be better quality than those jewelry kiosks.
Overall we had a positive experience. A few months later one earring fell out and we had to re-pierce one ear again but the process went smooth again and she took her time with us even with another family waiting. I am willing to pay a premium on a professional that explains all the steps and takes pride in what they do. I would totally recommend Margaret
Just like everyone else has already said...Margaret was great. Â We drove from the Fresno area to have the best, (mommy and daddy made a weekend vacation out of it), and we were left completely satisfied. Â We chose the white gold 4mm balls with screw backs, looks great!
Thank you
Steve out
I found her website through babycenter that there's a baby piercing in bay area. We drove an hour and took my 4year-old daughter today to have her ears pierced. Margaret is very patient, informative and does not rush each patient even if the next one is waiting in the waiting area. She does not force you to get or do what she wants which is good. She explains clearly all the after-care instructions. She is very honest and answers any questions that you might have. Very patient to babies and kids of all ages. Very accurate on the marking before she starts to pierce. Room was very clean. I highly recommend her to anyone. Very safe and caring with your child. Very professional and passionate to what she is doing. I will be taking my other daughter when she turns 3. Whatever you pay for is really worth it. Huge selection of earrings. She answers text and calls promptly. And most of all always available 24/7. She handles reminders on appointment very well. She even reminded me of daylight savings time today! How sweet! Thanks Margaret and keep up the great work! You are awesome! Forget the bad reviews here at yelp and see for yourself.
Review Source:Terrible experience. I took my daughter here yesterday to get her ears pierced with a set of diamond earrings her grandparents gifted to her after a coworker and all the yelp reviews praised this woman. Â
Although we were on time for our scheduled appointment we waited outside and knocked on the door for 10-15 mins before anyone opened it for us. Then we had to wait another 20 mins in the waiting room.
Once we were in the room. She marked my daughter's ears and we gave her the earrings we wanted to use. She filed them and inserted them into her 19th century, protractor looking instrument. She began to pierce my baby's ears when the earring bent inside her ear and sent her into horrid pain and screams. She then told me that the earrings were too thin for her "instrument". WHHHHHYYYY didn't she tell me BEFORE she stabbed my baby? She said that the gauge needs to be 20. I then gave her my OWN diamond studs fresh of my ears, which I know for a fact are 20 gauge and had her use those. The first earring went through the already half pierced hole. When she tried the other ear, she claims it happened again!!! I was literally about to get up and walk out of the place but knowing my girl had one and a half holes in her head made me stick it out for one more try.
Both myself and my daughter were a mess emotionally. It was suppose to be a memorable experience for her 6 month bday. Instead it turned out to be a very traumatizing event that WAS captured on video. Â
What's worse is that she WAS all business. As soon as her ears were pierced she started to quickly explain how to care for them while I was trying to comfort my inconsolable daughter. I couldn't hear her over my baby's screams so I had to walk out. She then continued to charged my husband for her services and moved onto the next baby waiting.
So unprofessional. So uncaring and total opposite of what the reviews say. I came here because I didn't want some teenager at the mall to pierce my little girl's ears and had read very good reviews about this woman. Boy what an overpriced, dreadful and regrettable experience we had. Â
I understand she doesn't use needles, I understand she has over 35 years experience but it appears that maybe she should grow along with technology and find a new "tool". She literally slowly stabs the earring through the earlobe, with a tool shaped like a protractor and looks like a an instrument that used to pierce holes into leather belts from the old days. How is that any better than using a needle? So much for a "safe, fast and painless experience" like her website (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.babypiercing.com&s=217e39596a9b286a819113919325bbb33bd7d156bb8d9aaf1cf9c1fad07e91eb" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.babypiercing.…</a>) claims.
I'm still traumatized and regretful that I put my daughter through a process in which she suffered through FOUR times!!!
In response to your comment below:
Margaret, I understand your need to defend your company and services however to lie about what happened is unfortunate. Before you began to pierce my daughter's ears with the gifted diamond studs, you did not inform me that it may not work and instead would harm my daughter. No mother would knowing hurt their child. After it bent, you offer me one of your earrings and I refused because they were all very cheaply made and unappealing. The gem stones you claimed were diamonds for $185 (+tax) were yellow. Therefore I gave you my diamond earrings off my own ears which I knew for a fact would meet your requirements and still your old instrument failed. My family did not leave "smiling and thanking you", I'm sorry if tears of devastation can be misleading to you as tears of joy.
As a professional of over 35 years, as you claim, you should have provided and practiced the safest method for my daughter. Misinforming me and my family to get a quick buck is disgusting and you should be ashamed. Good luck to you and your company.
I researched where to get our daughters ears pierced for awhile. Â We originally planned to pierce her ears when she was about six months old. Â I was hesitant because the only option I was coming up with in Sacramento was taking her to the mall to have someone that didn't have much experience do the job. Â So, we waited and I kept researching. Â We then decided to wait until she asked us for earrings--thinking we had a few years. Â At 20 months, she became obsessed with earrings and would gingerly touch them and say "earrings, please". Â She'd see them anywhere and touch her own ears and ask for them. Â Of course, we knew she would have no idea some discomfort would be associated with the piercing process so we waited some more. Â After reading all the reviews for Baby Piercing, we decided to get in touch with Margaret and get it scheduled. Margaret was fantastic, and answered all of my questions on the phone. Â We decided it was well worth a drive from Sacramento to San Francisco for this, and we couldn't be happier with having our 22-month old's ears pierced. Â Margaret took the time to mark our daughters ears so they'd be even in relation to her her face--not just measuring a certain place on the earlobe as most people don't have the same size earlobes on each side. Â Did our daughter cry? Yes. Was it any worse than her vaccinations? No. Â She was over it quickly, and we enjoyed a great brunch in the city afterward. Â
Before we left, Margaret went over care instructions, which were really rather simple. Â Each morning, spray a little witch hazel on the front & back of each ear where it's pierced and rotate the earring a full turn. Â That's it. Â She never experienced any redness, or swelling, and we make a game out of it. When she wakes up in the morning, I say "let's go clean our pretty earrings!" Â We then tromp to the bathroom, and I spray my own earrings front & back, and turn them--then do the same to her. She LOVES it. Â She follows with "earrings clean now, mommy". Â She loves looking at herself in the mirror and poses to see her earrings. Â
I'll definitely refer everyone to Margaret--and if we have another girl, we'll be back.
Well worth the drive.
We were  nearly 15 minutes late to our appointment and were afraid she wouldn't take us (we drove in from out of town) or would rush.  She took us and explained that if the next customer came, she would have to take them, but the process ended up just cutting into the next appointment a few minutes, so she said she would go ahead and finish because it would be less stress for the baby, which we very much appreciated.
It was not at all rushed. Margaret is a perfectionist when it comes to placement. Â She marked and remarked my 2 month old baby's ears about a dozen times and had me check placement several times before being satisfied enough to start the piercing. She also spent quite a bit of time explaining her procedures with us and practicing the hold to make sure our baby wouldn't move during the process. She explained in detail every step and also the after care procedures (and whys, which was good to hear).
I think my baby girl was more upset about being held down than the actual piercing itself. Â Way more expensive than some mall shop, but very much worth it considering you get someone who is careful about keeping things sterile and who is very knowledgeable & experienced in ear piercing (particularly with babies). And yes, a doctor's office is sterile, but again, you don't get someone with this much experience, plus they are not open on weekends. Â She did not use a gun or needle. Â She used a tool to push the earring through my baby's ears. Â We opted for 14 kt gold balls with the rounded screw-on backs for the most secure and comfortable fit for our baby (also less likely to snag on anything). Make sure you make an appointment a week ahead so the earring you choose (can see on her website)
Overall very pleased with the experience. Â They look great. My 9 week old baby girl is acting like nothing happened. Had this done today, so no feedback on long term issues. Â If there are any, which I don't anticipate, I'll update this post.
Margaret from <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbabypiercing.com&s=53d766c3541504d732fe5bd1cc3d04dfd054fe24c5c2a19db005d9ce03a9a138" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://babypiercing.com</a> did an outstanding job piercing the ears of our 3.5 year old daughter. My wife and I were both anxious about how our daughter would handle the experience, but Margaret put us all at ease, as you can see here: <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DjOjoYEgwa9I&s=49be0197d24ac1e00ea78d76d61a459b6e11a8027fd52e7b41d60c9ff73f48ea" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/w…</a>
Highly recommended baby and toddler ear piercing service. Thanks Margaret!
Thank you, fellow yelpers, for posting the reviews that led me to Margaret. The rave reviews seemed almost too good to be true, and yet my expectations were exceeded.
My 18 year old daughter exercised her adult rights by going out and piercing her nose someplace on Haight Street. The next morning she woke up and decided she didn't like it. She tried taking it out, and after researching the internet about how it's done, trying to unscrew it, etc., it was painful and not working so I found <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FBabypiercing.com&s=5ae1e6c740017253d147a9ad12c2512d33e23f85d12813748e90aeea90f726c1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Babypiercing.com</a> here on yelp.
She was the earliest hours I could find, (10 am) so I called around 9:50, but she took my call, told me that she was heading to the office, and that she had clients at 10 and 10:30 but we could see us at 11. I appreciated the fact that she didn't just say "come on in", because I respect someone who respects her clients by not squeezing too many people in.
We showed up around 10:30; both appts finished, and we went in right away. This wasn't your average piercing den.
This is a real0live doctors office, Margaret's office had credentials on the wall, I think they included acupuncture and acupressure, and in no way resembled those tat-and pierce dives that my daughter had visited the day before.
She looked in and said it was like a fish hook....She quickly pulled out what was essentially a one-inch nail that had been bent in half, with the tiny head of the nail painted blue. She seemed to find it fairly appalling, as her work is legitimate, skillful, and professional.
As we left I asked if we paid at the front desk, and she said "You don't owe me anything."
A first-class business.
WE LOVE LOVE LOVE MARGARET!!!!!!
Margaret's baby piercing skills are simply THE BEST! We came back with out 2nd daughter and just as pleased as we were 2 years ago when we pierced our oldest daughter's ears.
Margaret is also very helpful with helping me get the exact earring that I want for my baby girl, as well as for my niece. She is just so wonderful and easy to work with!
This is exactly what you need when you are dealing with your little angles!
WE APPRECIATE MARGARET!
Thank you, Margaret!
I'm a 16 year-old girl and I came here today to get my upper cartilage pierced after a recommendation from a friend. Margaret was super nice and put me at ease. She answered all my questions clearly and was very careful when marking the spot I wanted to get pierced. The piercing itself was quick, clean, and no where near as painful as I thought I would be. She also went over after care procedures very thoroughly with me. I'm really happy with my experience and my new piercing :)
By the way, I've had my cartilage pierced before at a mall and it was baaad! The hole never healed properly so I had to take out the earring and let it close.
Ha-ha-ha. I just saw your message dear Margaret. I didn't want my kid to be pierced with a needle, i just didn't have a clue of the different procedures, their cons and pros. I was just asking.. I'm sorry if that bothered you. The way your answered here in yelp is the same way you answered me through texts. Good luck to you and your business, that attitude will take you very far.
Review Source:There was no way I was taking my 7 month old baby to the mall to get her ears pierced. Â Her pediatrician didn't do ear piercings, so I didn't know what I was going to do. Â Fortunately, I found Margaret through Yelp and because of all the great reviews I decided to come here. Â It took awhile to mark the spot on her ears, but only because I could tell Margaret wanted it to be perfect! Â My baby was only crying hysterically because she didn't like being held once Margaret had to do the piercing. Â Margaret definitely knew what she was doing. Â I'm very happy I took my daughter here. Â She looks beautiful with her new earrings :)
Review Source:I couldn't be more happy with the amazing job that Margaret did! Once I found out that Kaiser didn't do ear piercings, I knew I had to do some research, 'cause there was no way in hell I was going to take Ava to the mall! Low and behold <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbabypiercing.com&s=53d766c3541504d732fe5bd1cc3d04dfd054fe24c5c2a19db005d9ce03a9a138" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://babypiercing.com</a> showed up with excellent reviews! I hit the jackpot, baby! Booking an appointment was super easy, just an email and a response shortly after, and that was that! Margaret was careful, meticulous, and overall very professional about her job! Ava has a slightly bigger right ear lobe, so Margaret made sure she marked her ears perfectly! It took her a while, but once she felt confident about her mark, we were ready to go! Ava had grown fussy by then and when it came time to pierce her, my restraining her made matters worse! Luckily it was quick, and once I got to console Ava, she stopped crying! Her cuteness just went up a notch by then ;)
If I ever have another girl, I'm coming back to Margaret! She was great!!!
My 10 year old wanted to wear earrings but refused to get her ears pierced in front of everyone at the mall. Â I found Margaret and babypiercing on yelp.
There was a satisfied middle schooler and her parents coming out as we arrived, which made us feel comfortable and gave my daughter the message that this place is not just for babies.
Margaret was thorough and explained what she was doing each step of the way. Â The entire experience was very private, clean & painless.
The piercings healed without infection or discomfort. Â We are very, very happy with the experience and the results.
Finding this wonderful business through Yelp made me wonder how in the world did we ever do this before Yelp?
Not sure I would've ever have known about this place since it's all the way in Outer Sunset, an area I rarely venture off to since I live on the other side of The City.
Anyway, I'm a first time mom and a little picky (okaaay, very picky) about what's happening to my Boo. I knew I wanted diamond earrings, 14k backs and a quiet space without any distractions so my daughter would be calm and the person could focus all their attention on her.
I found it here!
Margaret responded to my email inquiry within a couple hours and I was able to make an appointment for 3 days later. Â I chose to pay in advance to hold the earrings and guarantee they were in stock. Â We also briefly chatted on the phone prior to the appointment and she advised me of the importance of when I arrived with my daughter I should be calm/reassuring since babies can tell if parents are anxious (thus getting anxious themselves).
There's plenty of FREE parking (not originally on my list so this was a huge bonus!) and we were in/out in 30 minutes.
Yes, Boo cried... but I feel that it was more from restraining her arms and head than the actual piercing itself. Â Because 1 minute later when I lifted her in the air for our airplane move she was giggling again. Amazing little girl.
Very happy here and I would absolutely recommend to anyone without hesitation! Thank you Margaret! :)
Wonderful experience... well as good as you can get when you are putting a hole through your 1 year old's ear. Margaret was soooo good with my daughter! Even let her play with the swimming fish on her cell phone and talked to her about the mickey mouse toy we brought. Wish Kaiser had pediatricians as easy to get a hold of and caring as Margaret was! It is a bit pricey but I wouldn't even deduct a star because it was totally worth it!
Review Source:WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!- Drove all the way from Sacramento area, and could not be more happy and satisfied with the results.
Margaret was fabulous. Easy to communicate with, thorough, kind and gentle with my baby. Immediately after getting pierced, she was happy, smiling, and looked gorgeous with her new earrings. Her ears were not swollen or irritated and she slept through the night, no problem. The next morning they still looked great and my baby is still happy. Â Margaret is very patient with the little ones and very compassionate towards the parents. I knew from the start I didn't want to just go to the mall to have this done. This experience was very special and I am very happy I did the trip to see Margaret. If you are considering having your baby girl's ears pierced look no further. I highly recommend Margaret.
I thoroughly researched places to get my baby girl's ears pierced and came across <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbabypiercing.com&s=53d766c3541504d732fe5bd1cc3d04dfd054fe24c5c2a19db005d9ce03a9a138" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://babypiercing.com</a>. Â I am so glad that I did. Â Margaret did a great job of piercing my daughter's ears. She was very comforting and explained everything in detail, including after care instructions, which I definitely appreciated. It was worth the hour drive!!
Review Source:Absolutely MARVELOUS! Margaret is awesome from the second you contact her. She responds to your emails right away and her website provides information about her procedure, and before/after care instructions. Â She offers a lot of earrings to choose from and she definitely knows her stuff.
I wouldn't go to anybody to pierce my precious baby's ears so I'm so lucky to have found a link to Margaret on an article on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbabycenter.com&s=22011aa7f56b1356cc854685fbfb2717c8ad653e2ae977bee9f52741fc3f21ca" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://babycenter.com</a>.
She works out of a clinic- on Sundays and every other Monday- which is a very clean facility. Margaret really takes her time marking and re-marking your your child's earlobes to make sure they are even and she will not pierce unless she is satisfied with the mark and you approve of it. She must have marked and re-marked my daughter's ears 20x but I didn't mind! It's hard getting it perfect on a little baby that's moving around. Â
I like how she tells you exactly what she's doing as she goes along, or even before she does it. She has a very unique device designed in Germany... Nothin like those staple guns at Claire's that don't allow the piercer to control the amount of pressure put on the lobe. Â Margaret is professional, calm, gentle, and a perfectionist. She's so pro, she even tells you how to 'restrain' your child's arms as she pierces. Shes quick at it tho so don't worry! My daughter's ears are not one bit red, or swollen immediately afterwards! Margaret's the best! EvAr!!!!
Oh yeah- I wanted to add, that by mistake Margaret gave my daughter pink stones instead of the white I requested when we communicated via email. I was so worried about my daughter I didn't hear when Margaret confirmed the earring type before piercing. (My fault) Â I also didn't realize the mistake until I had gotten home because I was so darn impressed with Margaret's work. Nonetheless, I informed Margaret about the mix up and she said she'd gladly make an exchange when my daughter's ears are healed. How awesome is that!!!!
We took our 2 month old daughter to have her ears pierced today with Margaret and I am extremely happy with the results. Margaret was very gentle and took her time so that the placement of the earrings were perfect. My daughter did cry, but it was not for very long. I think it just scared her more than anything.
I highly recommend Babypiercing. I emailed Margaret to schedule the appointment and she was very prompt in responding to my email. It made me feel better knowing I was taking my daughter to someone who knows what they are doing. It was easy to find and parking was not a problem.
Great place. Â I took my ten year old daughter here a few weeks ago. Â She gave great instructions, she made sure they were evenly placed, and my daughter proclaimed that it 'didn't hurt one bit!' in spite of being very nervous beforehand. The office was very clean and professional and worth it though it costs more than the mall places. Â Claire's and the mall kiosks seem very hit or miss, I was happy we went to Margaret @ Babypiercing
Review Source:Wonderful experience! Â Easy to book our appointment & Margaret responded very quickly when I asked questions via email & text. Â The location is easy to find, with plenty of street parking. Â The facility is very quiet and clean. Â
The appointment started on time and Margaret was ready to go. Â She is very meticulous about marking our baby's ears. Â This process took longer than we expected. Â Our 10-month-old started very cooperative, but quickly grew restless siting on the table having her ears "played" with. Â After 10 minutes of marking & re-marking, Margaret was satisfied and was ready to pierce. Â My husband thinks that process could have just taken 2 minutes... but how can you tell someone "we really don't care too much if you get the placement just perfect". :-) Â Margaret takes more pride and care in her work - I was perfectly fine with her getting it just right to her satisfaction. Â
Since our daughter was getting restless, I had to hold her hands down while Margaret pierced. Â She prefers the children not be restrained because it lends to a much better experience for everyone. Â In our case, it was necessary. Â Margaret was quick & accurate with her tool. Â Our daughter did not cry from either ear piercing. Â She was definitely upset with us holding her down, but as soon as it was done, she was happy to be exploring the room. Â She didn't even notice her new earrings. Â
It's now been about a month & we're following Margaret's care instructions. Â No infections or complications... just beautifully pierced ears.
I recommend bringing snacks and toys for older babies and getting the "screw back" earrings. Â For more active babies & kids, it gives you more piece of mind knowing they won't fall out or budge. Â With our older daughter, we got the regular backings and I was constantly making sure the backings were on & not too loose or moved too tight. Â We ended up replacing her backings several times... until we finally replaced her earrings with new screw-backs.
Believe the reviews, if you want to have your baby's ears pierced safely and painlessly, this is the place!
Our daughter is 15 months old; I had been thinking about getting her ears pierced earlier (which I would suggest  to everyone), but a hectic schedule and a small dose of fear got the better of me.
Margaret was very prompt in responding to my questions both by e-mail and phone. Â When we arrived for our appointment, our daughter knew something was up, and burst into tears, and proceeded to scream through the entire visit. Â Margaret was calm and soothing, and somehow managed to still mark her ears perfectly even though she was writhing the whole time! Â She asked my husband and I to confirm that we were happy with the placement, and then pierced her ears quickly and painlessly. Â In fact, our daughter actually stopped crying immediately after the piercing!
The office was immaculately clean. Â Margaret described the procedure in detail to us before proceeding, including the extra steps that she takes to avoid infection and make the piercing as painless as possible. Â She also carefully explained how to clean her ears going forward. Â
My husband and I were truly impressed. Â 5-star service all-around.
we took our 8 year old twins here this morning and Margaret and her office were everything we hoped for. Margaret was kind and patient and very professional. The office was immaculate. I would suggest this business to anyone.
Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience for all of us!
Over the weekend my wife & I decided to finally have our 9 month old baby girl ears pierced. We found Margarets website on a pediatrician ask any question page and we were thrilled we all her reviews but even more when we meet her. She made sure that the holes were evenly placed and took her time with the measuring. The earring selection was very cute. Our baby did cry during the quick process but as soon as her hands were off her ears she was perfectly fine and looks adorable. Â 4 days later still no swelling, Â redness or irritation just cuteness!
Overall a great experience for our baby and us parents it beats going to a store at the mall and having a teenager with no experience and a piercing gun coming near our baby's ears.  Hope parents out there have a great experience with Margaret as we did. As a business owner ourselves we know how important customer service is  and even with us being late due to traffic she still treated us like we were on time.
Thank you
The Rodrigues family
We took our daughter here to get her ears pierced this past weekend. Â The whole process was a bit scary, but Margaret put us at ease. Â
Margaret was very meticulous about making sure the holes would be perfectly aligned. Â She had me and my husband triple check to make sure we were happy of the placement before she pierced our daughter's ears. Â She also explained how to care for the piercings very well. Â
My daughter did cry a bit but in the end the earrings look fabulous! Â
I deducted a star because she did not have a large selection of earrings.
I have two daughters and have taken both of them to Margaret for ear piercing. On both occasions Margaret did an excellent job. She clearly loves children and is extremely patient. She was very thorough in making sure the earrings would be straight, even and properly placed on the lobe. Margaret is great ..... I'm glad that I made the choice to go to her.
Review Source:Margaret was great!
I was totally freaked out when we took baby girl to get her ears pierced. She explained everything so well it helped calm me down. I ended up leaving the room anyhoo and hubby was with baby all the way! :)
She's gentle and kind! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
My husband and I took our baby to this place last Saturday to have our baby's ears pierced and we are so happy with the results. We didn't want to take our daughter to just any shop to do this because we want this to be a happy experience for her and for us.
We arrived 15 minutes late for our appointment but Margaret was oh so kind enough to still accommodate us despite the fact that she was running late for her own personal appointment elsewhere. She explained the entire process to us while performing the actual procedure and in a few minutes, it is done. Our baby cried for only 5 sec and immediately forgot about the pain after seeing her pretty face with earrings on both her earlobes. Margaret handled everything very well and made everything as pleasant as possible for our daughter. Overall, i give this 5 points and highly recommend to parents. I only have good things to say and made it well worth our trip.
My husband, daughter, and I just returned from our appointment with Margaret and I must tell you how extremely happy we are with the outcome of our daughter's ears pierced.  We got clearance from our pediatrician and I did my internet research and found <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.babypiercing.com&s=217e39596a9b286a819113919325bbb33bd7d156bb8d9aaf1cf9c1fad07e91eb" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.babypiercing.…</a> at <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FBabycenter.com&s=d9d36f01e79d334b14be5ecb9c8db107c3f8137a950b8f9a9cb0b65b5ac7d3b3" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Babycenter.com</a>.  It was very easy to book an appointment with Margaret - go to the website and look for the day and time that works for you and you can either text/email her and she'll confirm your appointment in 24 hours.  She works inside a facility called Clouds Rest Healing Center. Â
Margaret is so personal and very gentle and efficient with my daughter. Â She was very easy to talk to and really the entire process is simple. Â She explained how she sterilizes the earrings before she pierced our daughter's ears. Â She also thoroughly explains how to clean the area and what to avoid so that my daughter's ears don't get infected. Â The earrings are pricey but who wouldn't want to spend for their little girl??? Â The earrings we chose was so adorable and looked absolutely even more adorable on our daughter. Â Of course my daughter cried but it was over in minutes and she was back to smiling again. Â
We are extremely satisfied with the results. Â What was also great about Margaret she's been doing this for over 30 years plus. Â She's great at what she does and am confident that if you take your baby to her, you'll be very pleased with the results.
We had our daughter's (1 year old) ear pierced today by Margaret. She was very patient and generally seemed very competent. Of course our daugther cried even as we got into the room. But the process was completed very efficiently and we are happy with the results. We would gladly recommend this place.
Review Source:Found this place through Parentsays website. Â Best place to have your baby or child get their ears pierced. Â It's located in a Yoga health business. Â Margaret Mahoma has 35 years of experience in piercing baby's ears. Â When I had mine done it was at a mall in one of those center booths when I was a little kid. Â Nowadays, I just don't trust those places to do my little girl's ear. Â It's more expensive, but I felt it's worth it to get it done correctly and evenly. Â There's a small selection of earrings for you to choose from which includes your birthstone color. Â She said she had her piercing gun custom made in Germany. Â The back part of her earrings are screwed in rather than just a push in one. Â The room setting is like in a doctor's office but less cold since there was a window. Â My 5 year old girl did not cry, but just kept saying ouch, ouch, ouch. Â I let her decide when she wanted to get her ears pierced. Â So, if you are willing to pay a little more, but be in capable hands then I would highly recommend her.
Review Source:Just took my 4 mos old in for her ear piercing. Â Margaret was friendly on the phone with some advice before we arrived and she was friendlier upon our arrival for our appointment. She explained everything in advance and was very gentle. Â My daughter cried but it was only for the briefest moment & I know it wasn't from the pain - it was from her surprise. Â
I am glad I waited for an appointment with Margaret - the mall places look so sloppy and erratic every time I've seen them. Â I highly recommend this place for your precious ones ear piercing. Â I consider the extra money a valuable investment in one on one attention she gave us.
