I recently placed an order for 6 items with this company. Three different pairs of jewelry including one pair of 0g tapers to stretch my ears from 2g to 0g, and 2 pairs of 0g jewelry to wear once stretched. Â I received this in an e-mail from the company a few days after I placed my order:
"Thank you for your order. A product you have ordered is on Backorder. If
you would like us to cancel or change your order, please respond to this email.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
BACK-ORDER:TA-23-02-0: "
I responded with:
"Hello,
I would like to go ahead and cancel my order."
expecting to be fully refunded, however, Â even more time passed (about 4 more days) and I got an e-mail stating:
"Your back-ordered item has been canceled and refunded.
Thank you.
John.
MinkyMonky Body Jewelry"
I responded and let him know that my intention was to cancel my entire order, and was told the partial order had already shipped. Â They didn't even bother to wait for my response to their original e-mail, which I sent within 5 minutes of receiving it, before they shipped a partial order. Â When I checked my PayPal refund I was surprised to see the amount refunded was around $5, and not ~$14 which is what the two tapers cost me originally.
Now I'm told I have to wait until the package arrives (which I have no tracking information for) so I can refuse it before they will issue me a refund.
If you're going to offer cancellation as an option, perhaps you should wait for a response (or READ the response) before shipping an order.
Horrible customer service. Â Not to mention the first review for this company is obviously written by John that works there. Â

Bought a few gauges from them online because they had the best prices and called themselves '#1 Source For Your Body Jewelry'. Â What a crock! Â When my gauges arrived, I was thrilled with them and they fit perfectly. Â Too bad my favorite one fell out within a week of purchase which is really not what you expect from a Double Flat Flared Spiral Ear Gauge. Â When I tried to contact them through phone and email, I was completely ignored! Â No customer service to be found, I was very disappointed. Â I will never buy anything from them again. Â It's not a 'low price' if you have to go out and buy the same item somewhere else.
